Song Chi still has to catch the evening flight back to the film crew.
Late at night, Zhou Yun had no choice but to see him downstairs.
"Li Ge, thanks for your hard work," Zhou Yun said to the "driver."
Li Ge laughed and said, "I’m used to it; this damn guy just loves ordering people around."
The damn guy, naturally, is Song Chi.
Song Chi got in the car, suddenly rolled down the window, and said to Zhou Yun, "Don’t forget you still owe an answer."
Zhou Yun was stunned.
The answer regarding whether to move in together or not.
Zhou Yun said, "Should I answer you now?"
Song Chi: "Wait until I finish filming and get out of the crew."
After that, he imdiately rolled up the window.
Zhou Yun: "..."
The night breeze was a bit cold.
Zhou Yun only wore a short-sleeved shirt, and the wind on her arms felt cool.
She watched the car drive away and turned to go upstairs.
"Sister Lan, I’ll be heading back now." She grabbed her things, ready to leave.
Zhou Lan said, "Why don’t you stay over tonight? You don’t have work tomorrow anyway."
Zhou Yun shook her head and said, "I’d rather go back to sleep; tomorrow, I’ll sleep in."
Zhou Lan nodded and said, "Then let take you. Xiaoju, are you going to sleep over at my place tonight or go back?"
Zheng Xiaojue scratched her head and said, "I’ll go back too, I have plans to have lunch with Brother Xiao Ze tomorrow."
"Oh, got another date so soon?" Zhou Lan clicked her tongue, "Youth is really sothing."
Zheng Xiaojue waved her hand, her face red as she said, "Sister Lan, we’re really just friends."
Zhou Lan made a non-committal "oh" sound.
It looked like she didn’t believe it.
Zhou Yun returned ho, picked up her luggage from the apartnt manager, went upstairs, and entered the house.
The house was still clean after more than twenty days of absence; it seed Sister Lan had arranged for soone to clean it in advance.
Zhou Yun put down her luggage, not wanting to tidy up just then.
She walked into the bedroom, took so clean clothes, took a shower, and then turned on the floor lamp beside the sofa. She read for about two hours before picking up her phone to ssage Song Chi, asking: Have you arrived?
Song Chi didn’t reply for a long ti, probably because his flight hadn’t landed yet.
Zhou Yun had nothing to do at the mont, thought about opening Weibo.
Her finger was about to touch the Weibo icon when she suddenly hesitated.
She thought about it and decided not to.
It’s late at night, best not to get all emotional.
Zhou Yun can talk the talk, but when it cos to it, she really can’t stay detached and shrewd.
After a while, she felt sleepy and yawned.
She checked the ti and it was nearly midnight.
Zhou Yun wondered, hasn’t Song Chi arrived yet?
Could sothing have happened?
As this thought tugged at her heart, her phone vibrated.
It was a ssage from Song Chi: Just landed, have you slept?
A heart that had just been lifted now fell back into place.
Zhou Yun replied: Was waiting for your ssage, already sleepy.
Song Chi sent a goodnight emoji: Sleep tight.
Zhou Yun held her phone, pondered a mont, wanted to say sothing, but there was nothing in particular to say.
She just experienced a tender feeling rising from within her heart.
She had to slightly disguise her emotions and replied: Let know when you get there, I’m going to sleep now.
