In the evening, on the way back, Lew Yuan made a phone call to Song Chi.
"Brother Lew, why are you calling so late?" Song Chi asked.
Lew Yuan said, "You lucky kid, you’ve found a good girl."
"Ah?" Song Chi felt the remark was a bit out of the blue, and it took him a while to catch on, "You an Xiao Yun?"
"Yeah, I used to think Xiao Yun was the one taking advantage of you, but today I realize it’s actually you who’s hit the jackpot. Lew Yuan recounted the day’s events to Song Chi.
After listening, Song Chi asked, "She took the kid with her?"
"Mhm," said Lew Yuan, "In the end, they decided to book a room in a hotel near the hospital."

Zhou Yun booked three rooms.
A double for herself and Xiao Bei, and the other two for Zheng Xiaojue and Cao Jun.
Zheng Xiaojue said, "It’s a good thing Sister Lan always reminds to keep so daily necessities and clothes in the car, just in case of ergencies, otherwise we would have had to go back for a change of clothes."
Holding the once again sleeping Xiao Bei, Zhou Yun said, "You’ve worked hard today as well, staying overnight with in the hotel."
Zheng Xiaojue was cheerful about it, saying, "It’s nice, so we don’t have to get up early tomorrow."
She’s always been easily pleased.
Zhou Yun smiled, swiped her card to enter the room, and carefully placed Xiao Bei on the bed, then removed his shoes and jacket, and tucked him in.
Zheng Xiaojue marveled in a whisper, "Sister Xiao Yun, you seem to have a maternal aura about you."
Zhou Yun rolled her eyes and shot back, "Cut the nonsense, how young I am to be labelled a mother."
"It really feels that way though," Zheng Xiaojue insisted.
Zhou Yun waved her off, "Alright, you go get so rest too. Don’t worry about ."
After running around all day and selling things for half the afternoon, Zhou Yun was also tired.
She didn’t plan to shower in the hotel, opting for a simple wash before going to bed.
Suddenly, her phone rang.
Zhou Yun hurriedly picked up the phone and went outside the room, leaving the door slightly ajar.
It was a call from Song Chi.
Zhou Yun picked up.
"Have you finished work?" Zhou Yun asked.
"Yeah, I was just talking to Brother Lew on the phone; he told about what happened to you guys today," Song Chi said. "You’ve got guts, taking soone else’s child with you like that. Aren’t you afraid of the risk involved?"
Zhou Yun didn’t expect Song Chi to call about this matter.
She replied, "I had no choice, the kid’s father is unconscious in the hospital, I couldn’t just leave him alone there. Besides, I like him; we hit it off, and he’s particularly adorable."
Song Chi chuckled helplessly.
He wasn’t calling to scold her.
"So, what are you planning to do? Keep him with you until his dad wakes up?" Song Chi asked.
"Not likely, it just happened suddenly. Tomorrow, we will contact his other relatives and friends," Zhou Yun explained. "I would actually like to keep him with for a few more days, but that wouldn’t be appropriate."
Song Chi acknowledged, "As long as you’re aware of that."
"I heard about Mr. Zhong’s family situation from Brother Lew today, and it really upset . Especially thinking about Xiao Bei, such a sensible kid, having to go through all of this from a young age, I just wanted to be as kind as possible to him," said Zhou Yun.
"I know, I get it," Song Chi responded, "Brother Lew said the reason he chose Mr. Zhong as the subject for this episode was to ensure people don’t forget about him."
"The show Brother Lew is doing is indeed very aningful."
