In the evening, Zhou Yun finished work.
There were no scenes for Zhou Yun tonight.
She said farewell to the director and Shen Yao and prepared to head back to the hotel.
On her way to the dressing room to remove her makeup, Zhou Yun bumped into ng Ran secretly hiding in a corner, wiping away tears.
Zhou Yun was startled and her steps ca to a halt.
Zheng Xiaojue didn’t know what Zhou Yun saw and asked with confusion, "Sister Xiao Yun, what’s wrong?"
Her voice startled ng Ran, who was hiding in the corner.
ng Ran, panicked, raised her arm to wipe away her tears, turned around in a hurry, and upon seeing Zhou Yun, her expression montarily lost control.
Her look was complicated, as if unsure about what kind of expression to show Zhou Yun.
Zhou Yun thought, at tis like this, what could she do that would make ng Ran feel a little more comfortable?
"Sister ng Ran?" Just as Zhou Yun was still grappling with the decision, Zheng Xiaojue already spoke out in surprise, "Why are you hiding here secretly rehearsing? I just saw your assistant looking for you."
ng Ran’s eyes were still brimming with tears; she forced a smile and said, "Thank you, I’ll head over now."
She hurried away.
Zhou Yun gave Zheng Xiaojue a surprised glance.
The old Zheng Xiaojue was thick-skinned and rarely had such quick reactions that offered people a way out.
Today’s Zheng Xiaojue made Zhou Yun see her in a new light.
Just then, Zheng Xiaojue suddenly remarked sentintally, "Although ng Ran’s acting is diocre, she is really nice and dedicated. To think that she’s secretly rehearsing by herself."
Zhou Yun turned in surprise to look at Zheng Xiaojue, to find Zheng Xiaojue’s face sincere and unquestioning.

Zhou Yun ca back to her senses and smiled. She didn’t share her view with Zheng Xiaojue; it might be better to let Zheng Xiaojue think that way. ng Ran probably wouldn’t want more people to know about her hiding in a corner crying alone.
However, the sight of ng Ran crying kept reappearing in Zhou Yun’s mind.
After returning to her room, she did not read the script, but searched online for information about ng Ran.
These years, talent shows were very popular. Especially idol talent shows that led to group debuts, which was the mainstream trend in recent years. Artists coming out of these shows were all labeled with one term, "traffic". Whether inside the industry or outside, whatever these artists used to do, once they’ve been on the show, all characteristics were overshadowed by these two words.

The producers of "Warm Little Horse" definitely treated these two similarly tagged popular actresses differently, especially since ng Ran’s Weibo retweets, however high they might be, couldn’t compare with the public recognition Zhou Yun had built up over two years.
Before signing the contract with "Warm Little Horse", Zhou Yun had a year-long rumored romance with Song Chi and had also starred in a wildly popular variety show "After the Scandal".
Data can be overwhelmingly crushing, but ntioning these two nas elicited different reactions.
Frankly, Zhou Yun felt that ng Ran’s facial features didn’t really suit an actress.
She was beautiful, but too sexually appealing. That might be good for an artist, but for an actress, it ant significant limitations due to her appearance.
So, does ng Ran have a chance to go further down the path of an actress?
Of course, there’s a chance.
However, she would need to put in much more effort than an ordinary person. She has to completely shed the idol image, cultivate adept acting skills, and find a unique acting character and soul to have the opportunity to genuinely deliver her performance to the audience’s hearts.
