On the set of "Laissez-faire."
Ning Xiner was resting in her van, holding a phone in her right hand and a coffee in her left.
Suddenly, a ssage popped up on her phone, making her eyes widen and sit up from her chair.
"What?"
Her assistant was also taken aback.
"Xiner, what’s wrong?"
"A paparazzo caught Zhou Yun coming out of a hotel with a man!" Ning Xiner said in surprise.
Her assistant was initially skeptical.
"Really?"
"It’s true, they even got photos," Ning Xiner replied, "and the background in the photos is the hotel."
Ning Xiner’s assistant quickly searched on her phone and looked through the photos.
"From these photos, it doesn’t look like anything’s going on," the assistant said. "They seem just like friends, not close at all."
"They ca out of a hotel, of course, they wouldn’t be close," Ning Xiner said. "But isn’t it strange for an unmarried man and woman to be in and out of a hotel at night?"
With that question, the assistant began to change her stance.
When you put it that way, it does seem a bit off.
"What about Song Chi? If he sees these photos, he’ll be furious, right?" Ning Xiner’s assistant asked worriedly, "Can filming still go as planned today?"
Ning Xiner shook her head and said, "Why don’t you go take a look?"
The assistant had the sa thought and imdiately went.
A while later, the assistant returned, looking utterly surprised.
"What’s with that expression?" Ning Xiner asked.
"Song Chi is chatting and laughing with everyone. You can’t tell he’s angry at all," the assistant reported, looking equally astounded. "I wonder if he hasn’t heard about it yet."
Ning Xiner thought it over carefully.
"Let’s go over there too."
"Now? You’re not in the next scene," the assistant said.
Ning Xiner gave the assistant a disdainful look and said, "Just because I’m not in the next scene doesn’t an I can’t go chat with everyone."
As the lead actress of "Laissez-faire," no one would say anything if Ning Xiner spent twenty-four hours on set.
Ning Xiner has notable works in television and film, but her fa and popularity can’t compare to Ning Yao or Wei Ru Xue. She’s a well-known actress, but not a current sensation.
Fortunately, Ning Xiner doesn’t follow the traffic route. Her acting skills and resu are enough to secure her place in the entertainnt industry, never short of roles. Like "Laissez-faire," many young starlets wanted this but weren’t qualified; the producers approached her first.
Ning Xiner had always admired Song Chi and wanted to act in a movie with him. As for Zhou Yun, maybe due to the competitive tension that cos from being the sa gender, she harbored a hidden animosity, never revealing this to anyone. If this incident could cause so issues or even a rift between Song Chi and Zhou Yun, Ning Xiner would secretly be quite pleased.
But as her assistant ntioned, judging from Song Chi’s deanor, either he hasn’t heard about it or he simply doesn’t care.
Ning Xiner didn’t believe Song Chi would remain indifferent upon hearing about this incident.
She leaned toward the possibility that Song Chi was unaware.
The topic everyone was chatting about had nothing to do with it.
Ning Xiner walked over with a smile and asked, "What are you all talking about? You seem to be having such a good ti."
"Xiner, you’re here." Jiang Yuzhen smiled warmly and nodded at her, "We were discussing whether to grab a bite together after finishing work tonight. Mo Yu has found another restaurant."
Ning Xiner said, "How does Mo Yu always discover different restaurants?"
Mo Yu shrugged and said, "That’s because I love to eat and enjoy finding good places."
"Oh, by the way, Song Chi, when Xiao Yun ca last ti, where did you take her to eat?" Ning Xiner asked. "I think it was also a spot Mo Yu recomnded, right?"
"Yeah." Song Chi nodded. "You’ve got a good mory."
Ning Xiner: "Of course, Xiao Yun only ca that once; how could I forget? Speaking of which, I envy Xiao Yun. She’s not with the crew right now, and I saw on her Weibo that she t soone for dinner last night."
"Yes, she had dinner with Wei Heyun last night," Song Chi nodded and said.
