It only took about an hour to surge to the top of real-ti trending searches.

A story needs gradual unfolding to attract people, but an accident requires only an instant of fireworks exploding.

Zhou Yun fell from a height while recording a show and fell into a coma.

There have been several celebrities who have captured nationwide attention due to accidents, such as Andy Lau falling off a horse and He Jiong falling into a coma.

Zhou Yun had only gained significant exposure in the past couple of months, which is why there were people familiar with her online.

However, in real life, not many could recognize her.

Yet that was enough to cause an uproar online.

Zhou Yun was taken directly from the TV station to the hospital by ambulance.

Zhou Lan arrived at the hospital with Zheng Xiaojue, her phone ringing nonstop.

From the company to business partners, from familiar dia to familiar celebrities.

Zhou Lan was on the phone the whole way in the ambulance, and upon arriving at the hospital, she put her phone on silent. She stayed by Zhou Yun’s side for all the examinations and paperwork until Zhou Yun was settled in the ward and had spoken to the doctor; only then did she breathe a sigh of relief.

"Thank Heaven, it’s just a minor concussion, Xiaoju, you stay here for a while, I’ll handle so work, rember, no one besides doctors and nurses is allowed into the ward," Zhou Lan instructed Zheng Xiaojue.

Zheng Xiaojue nodded seriously and said, "Okay, Sister Lan."

Zhou Lan left the ward with her phone and started dealing with the aftermath of Zhou Yun’s fall and coma.

A producer from the show crew who arranged for care hurried over after settling the fees and asked imdiately upon seeing Zhou Lan, "Sister Lan, how is Xiao Yun? What did the doctor say?"

Zhou Lan glanced at him and frowned, "The doctor said further examinations are needed."

"Sister Lan, rest assured, we will take responsibility for this. The person responsible for the hoisting work will be dealt with seriously. Also, we will take care of Xiao Yun’s dical expenses."

"That goes without saying." Zhou Lan retorted with annoyance, "What kind of job are you doing? What if Xiao Yun had sothing serious, like a brain hemorrhage, or ended up in a vegetative state, how would you compensate for that? Not thoroughly checking equipnt that involves artist’s safety!"

"Sister Lan, it’s our fault, we didn’t expect such a major mishap, we are truly sorry..." The person apologized profusely, bowing repeatedly.

Zhou Lan didn’t take it to heart. This person was just sent by the TV station to handle the fallout. Her words were rely to convey a stance through him to the ears of the TV station. This incident, though the doctor said it was just a minor concussion without serious issues, shouldn’t cover up the oversight on the TV station’s part!

After dismissing him, Zhou Lan finally returned a call to President He.

President He didn’t ask why she hadn’t answered the phone before, and directly asked, "How is Zhou Yun now?"

"The doctor has examined her, it’s not serious, just so minor concussion," Zhou Lan reported, "The show crew is too irresponsible, using an outsourced company for the hoisting; the problem occurred because the equipnt wasn’t carefully inspected, and that’s why Zhou Yun fell."

President He responded, "It’s a great relief that Zhou Yun is unhard."

Zhou Lan thought President He was concerned about Zhou Yun’s health.

President He then asked, "When can Zhou Yun wake up? Did the doctor say? Will it delay subsequent work?"

A hollow laugh arose in Zhou Lan’s heart. She thought, as expected, no expectations should be placed on President He.

"It depends on when Zhou Yun wakes up. Once she does, we’ll have the doctor check again and if there’s no serious issue, she can be discharged."

President He said, "Alright, keep an eye on the hospital situation. Don’t worry about the TV station, I’ll arrange for soone to liaison."

Zhou Lan replied, "Okay."

"Also, since Zhou Yun is alright, log into her Weibo and let her post a tweet to reassure everyone," President He added.

Zhou Lan replied, "President He, Zhou Yun’s Weibo is with her and we don’t have the password."

She did have it, but she didn’t want President He to know.

Zhou Lan also didn’t want to step over the line and post that tweet for Zhou Yun.

She thought it would be good to give the TV station a scare first to negotiate better compensation.

"President He, let’s not rush to reassure everyone? I haven’t told the TV station it’s just a minor concussion; let’s scare them first. They’ve made such a big blunder this ti that it almost caused irreversible damage, they must compensate!"

President He only said, "I have my plans for this matter."

What Zhou Lan wasn’t expecting was that half an hour later, Chengqian Entertainnt’s official Weibo posted a tweet to reassure everyone, stating Zhou Yun had been hospitalized for checks, results showed no serious issues, and was currently resting, asking everyone not to worry.

Zhou Lan found this astounding.

She had an intuition that sothing was off behind the scenes, so she asked a colleague from the PR departnt, who replied: that Weibo post wasn’t written by us, it was ordered from above.

From above?

Could it be Hong Chen?

No, that’s not right. Given Hong Chen’s cautious way of handling things and not knowing the specific situation on Zhou Yun’s end, he wouldn’t issue a Weibo post like that himself.

Was it President He’s idea?

...

Zhou Yun didn’t wake up until the evening.

Her injury had already been hanging all day online, causing quite a stir.

At first, there was general concern over Zhou Yun’s coma, but it turned into criticism and attacks on the show crew, and later, so influential user started berating how a celebrity’s fall and coma could attract such huge attention while many people working in hazardous jobs go unnoticed, sparking various attitudes and views to erge, turning a minor incident into a heated argunt dragged into the public street.

When Zhou Yun woke, Zhou Lan was instructing the company to manage online comnts to shield Zhou Yun from the disputes.

"Sister Lan," Zhou Yun called out.

"You’re awake!" Zhou Lan turned to Zhou Yun with delight, "Finally, you’re awake!"

Zhou Yun looked around the room and asked, "Am I in the hospital?"

"Yes, you fell from a height while recording the program. Do you rember?" Zhou Lan asked.

Zhou Yun rembered, but her head ached.

"That’s terrible."

"It’s a bit rough, but luckily, there’s nothing serious, just a minor concussion," Zhou Lan said, "To be safe, you should stay in the hospital tonight, and we’ll ask the doctor to take a look again tomorrow."

"Okay," Zhou Yun nodded, "What ti is it?"

"Let see, it’s 7 o’clock in the evening," replied Zhou Lan, "Oh, you haven’t eaten in a long ti, you must be hungry. What would you like to eat?"

"Knock, knock." Suddenly, there was a knock on the door.
