Zhou Yun turned around in confusion, facing Xu Jinbo again.
Xu Jinbo’s face showed hesitation.
"I wanted to ask you to help see if Xu Zixiang has the potential to be an actor."

It’s not an intelligence issue. morizing words is a rote learning thing; there’s nothing that can’t be learned. If a child doesn’t learn well, it’s the parents who aren’t strict enough."

For so reason, he felt like he’d just been lectured by Zhou Yun.
As a father, Xu Jinbo indeed never disciplined Xu Zixiang. His job kept him away from ho for long stretches, which prevented him from participating in Xu Zixiang’s upbringing.
However, like any parent, even though he couldn’t be there to witness Xu Zixiang growing up, he hoped for his success.
No parent doesn’t wish for their child to grow up successful.
Xu Jinbo understood Zhou Yun’s point, suddenly realizing he might have given up too early.
The main reason was that Xu Zixiang, after coming to work at the film set, did not complain as he had expected.
He worked energetically every day, from dawn till dusk.

Xu Zixiang furrowed his brows, not answering.
