Zhou Yun reflects on whether she truly has the ’worry syndro’ that Zhou Lan ntioned.
If she really has it, she needs to change, can’t be saddled with such a thankless ailnt at a young age.
Upon serious consideration, it doesn’t really count; she’s rely offering help within her ans to those she cares about, not as terrifying as Zhou Lan made it sound.
Zhou Yun relaxes and tells Zhou Lan, "Sister Lan, you’re really being alarmist."
"Oh, you’re worried about it being alarmist," Zhou Lan laughs, "Are you really afraid of having worry syndro?"
Zhou Yun nods earnestly, saying, "After all, I have a living example right in front of showing how scary it is to have worry syndro."
Zhou Lan’s eyes glance sideways imdiately.
Isn’t Zhou Yun’s remark a way of ridiculing her?
Zhou Lan: "It’s really like a dog biting Lv Dongbin, not appreciating kindness."
Zhou Yun laughs.
Despite the conversation, Zhou Lan acts swiftly.
Several tasks that Zhou Yun assigned were all completed before she went out in the evening.
The masks have been customized, and bodyguards have been hired; Zhou Lan will personally et the bodyguards later, then they’ll go to work.
Zhou Yun sits in front of the makeup mirror, letting the makeup artist apply makeup on her.
The makeup today is done by a makeup artist they brought themselves.
"Don’t make the eye makeup too heavy," Zhou Yun says, "It’s too unsightly."
Europeans and Aricans have facial features suited for heavy makeup, but she’s aware that it doesn’t suit her.
The makeup artist agrees with a smile.
Zhou Lan says, "Xiao Yun, later tonight there’s a red carpet photo session, rember to pose for a bit, don’t walk too quickly. This is the United States, photographers might not focus on you, if you walk too fast, there might not be many photos taken."
Zhou Yun nods, agreeing.
"I understand."
Zhou Lan continues, "Also, at tonight’s banquet, Bruce from Paimon and Brillanch from Mélando will both be there. The forr is the PR head for ’Behind the Scenes’ in the United States, and the latter is representing Mélando in negotiations for ’Killing Song’. These two appearing simultaneously, and their relationship seems diocre, pay attention not to get involved in their dispute."
"Do they have so kind of conflict?" Zhou Yun asks.
Zhou Lan says, "Apparently over a woman, but I don’t know the specifics, all this is gossip I’ve heard."
"I’ve never thought gossip lacks value," Zhou Yun laughs.
Gossip is news, news is information, and information can determine many things.
After getting styled, Zhou Yun first takes so photos at the hotel.
Zheng Xiaojue is responsible for the photo shoot.
Recently, she’s been honing her photography skills, as she primarily handles Zhou Yun’s photos and VLOGs on various social dia platforms.
Zhou Lan even allocated a special budget to enroll Zheng Xiaojue in a photography class to study shooting techniques.
"We really don’t need to hire a dedicated photographer to follow us, firstly we don’t rely on looks or photos, secondly, it’s too costly, not worth it," Zhou Lan says, "I think Xiaoju has quite a talent for photography, so send her to learn, then give her a bonus based on the monthly material used. This keeps Xiaoju motivated and is more convenient, as an assistant is always with you compared to a photographer."
Zhou Yun thinks Zhou Lan’s suggestion makes sense and goes along with it.
After so ti working together, Zheng Xiaojue’s photography skills have indeed reached a certain level, and she’s fully capable of taking beautiful pictures of Zhou Yun.
Zheng Xiaojue has also started her own account on a platform, sharing her everyday photography works.
At 5:30 p.m., Zhou Yun sets off to the banquet venue.
In reality, such events are quite similar dostically and abroad.
The major difference is that here she ets mostly foreigners.
All of this constantly reminds her that she is now a guest, a visitor in a foreign land.
As Zhou Lan ntioned earlier, when walking the red carpet, not many photographers were taking pictures of her.
Many caras preferred focusing on the back view of an Arican actress who walked ahead rather than capturing Zhou Yun’s front view.
Zhou Yun was once popular in the United States, but after the news cooled down, in the eyes of these photographers, Zhou Yun’s value diminished considerably.
