"Fight!"

Soone gritted their teeth and charged towards the back courtyard.

Facing the elite Anxi Army ant certain death, but they could still have a chance against the White Lotus Sect heretics.

......

Second courtyard.

Fang Zheng withdrew his gaze from the front courtyard and shook his head lightly.

It seems Wu Hai and Li San were right; the Anxi Army just uses them as the Vanguard Army, not caring if their own people are depleted.

Looking at the battlefield.

Wu Hai and Li San, holding long sabers, their blades glinting, were fighting several White Lotus Sect followers.

Li San was slightly weaker, while Wu Hai was approaching Second Blood level. Moreover, the two had been partners in battle robes for years, making them a steady defensive force.

"Move aside!"

Fang Zheng spoke in a low voice:

"Draw them to the corner, don't attract too much attention."

"Yes."

Wu Hai complied.

"Bang!"

The side wall cracked open as a White Lotus Sect follower charged into the crowd.

This person was clad in soft armor, wielding a long sword. The swordsmanship was sharp and asured, aiming directly at vital points, unlike ordinary followers.

In just a few dashes, several bodies fell before him.

Even Blood Martial Artists of Second Blood were no match.

"Swish!"

Fang Zheng intercepted the opponent with his long saber:

"Your opponent is ."

"Die!"

The opponent didn't seem interested in talking, swiftly swinging the sword.

Typically, swords are wielded with thrusts, chops, and sweeps, but this person's Swordsmanship was diagonal slashes, attacking from the sides, never from the front.

Complented by footwork, each move was unexpected.

Encountering this kind of Swordsmanship for the first ti would make one uncomfortable, likely falling for it with a mont's carelessness.

"Interesting Swordsmanship."

Fang Zheng's face remained indifferent as he parried with his saber.

At the Martial Artist level, the two worlds aren't vastly different; in fact, the modern world might even have more refined Force Application thods.

He integrated the advantages of both worlds, forming a unique Martial Dao that could be considered an establishnt of his own school.

At least,

never encountered a Martial Artist whose techniques surpassed his.

Heart Intent Fist evolved into saber strikes, moving as he pleased, regardless of how the opponent's techniques varied, he could steadily defend and counterattack at tis.

The two seed evenly matched, unable to decide a winner in a short ti.

Even with a Martial Artist present, unless thoroughly familiar with Fang Zheng, it'd be hard to notice he was intentionally holding back, delaying.

However, the situation for others was dire.

More and more White Lotus Sect followers charged from the rear courtyard, several being Three Blood Martial Artists, creating a one-sided crush.

"Bang!"

An evil cult follower wielding a staff smashed a person's head, roaring towards the sky, sweeping the staff horizontally.

The explosive Giant Power sent several people flying, crushing bones in mid-air, dead before hitting the ground.

Cracks spread across the ground, as the person leapt several ters towards the front courtyard, rushing towards the Anxi Army.

"Be careful!"

The Household Commander drew his saber, shouting loudly:

"Guard yourselves!"

"Humph!"

On horseback, Households Commander Ming snorted lightly, slowly drawing a giant sword.

The sword's blade was a palm wide, heavy and thick, resembling a polished iron plate from afar.

"Hyah!"

He lightly clamped his legs, the steed beneath him breathing heavily and stepping forward, others quickly made way, and the archers ceased their actions.

Ming was fully armored, all forged from fine steel. Along with the giant sword and his physique, the weight reached hundreds of pounds.

Ordinary horses would kneel at the sheer weight, let alone carrying soone.

Yet his steed beneath seed unfazed by the weight, moving swiftly, charging suddenly.

"Swish!"

Man and horse beca shadows, suddenly appearing in the front courtyard.

Ming held up the giant sword single-handedly, pointing towards the sky, with a corpse of the staff-wielder hanging from the blade.

"Hyah!"

With another light clamp of his legs, he shed the sword's load, becoming one with the horse, streaking towards the rear courtyard.

Anyone blocking the path, enemy or ally, was swept away with a single strike.

In the blink of an eye,

he reached the main house of the rear courtyard.

"Boom!"

Like a train at full speed crashing into a freight yard, terrifying power accompanied the giant sword's slash, obliterating the massive house.

Cracks covered the ground, spreading several ters away.

Roof flew high, walls crumbled, several figures torn apart by True Qi, raining down as blood.

This...

Fang Zheng's eyes narrowed in shock.

He had seen Martial Artists before, even sparred with one from the Beggar Gang. Though there was a difference from Martial Artists, it wasn't insurmountable.

With his current strength, three or four of his kind could barely handle a Minor Circulation Martial Artist.

But what was before him?

Could it be,

Ming is not a Minor Circulation Martial Artist?

"Ah!"

Soone roared amidst chaos:

"Ming Yanfei, the Holy Sect will never spare you!"

The roaring person struck continuously in mid-air, their Palm Force bending through the air, bombarding Ming on horseback from all directions.

"Holy Sect?"

Ming sneered:

"Just afraid you lack the guts!"

The giant sword swung through the air like a shield, easily dispelling the Powerful Qi, but the next mont the steed beneath suddenly leapt.

"Swish!"

A streak of cold light burst from the ground, piercing the horse's shadow, stabbing into the air.

"What a Phoenix Blood Horse, detecting even my Concealing Breath Technique."

Suddenly, a figure erged, praising, then called his companions:

"Let's go!"

The two landed without hesitation, flashing several ters in an instant, disappearing in seconds.

Ming did not pursue, leaning to soothe the steed's neck hair, calming its restless nerves, then swept a cold gaze over the scene.

"A bunch of worthless cattle!"
