This isn’t quite the urban village, yet it’s similar enough.

Buildings closely packed together spread throughout the small area, resulting in narrow alleys that never see the sun.

The garbage bins, seemingly uncleaned for a long ti, are scattered about, filling the alleyway with a pungent sll.

The ground is covered with rancid water, a sticky ss that makes one nauseous upon stepping in it.

Three silhouettes quietly appear nearby; a thief who was fleeing earlier turns and viciously glares at the two people.

"Chase!"

"Why aren’t you chasing?"

The thief, with triangular eyes and a hawk nose, turns and draws a baton from his waist.

"Whoosh!"

With a sudden flick, a series of connected stainless steel tubes surge out, nearly a ter long, clearly more than a regular baton.

Without a word, the three close in, surrounding the two, and one begins in a muffled voice:

"Got the stuff?"

"Don’t worry about my work." The thief patted his bag, his face smug:

"These two fools beat my brother and dared to chase . I’ll teach them a lesson. Otherwise, I’d have wasted my years as an eagle."

He continued:

"The woman looks decent, could have so fun!"

Fang Zheng’s face darkened and rushed forward before Guo Erqiu could speak,

His 1.9-ter-tall fra towering over the 1.7-ter thief made him resemble a fierce tiger, imposing.

"Damn!"

The thief hadn’t anticipated Fang Zheng would attack despite being surrounded, panics, and instinctively swings the baton.

Fang Zheng tilts his head, avoiding a direct smack, letting the baton fall on his shoulder, causing only a minor dip without further reaction.

Tiger Form!

Boom!

Such a lightning speed that the clothes whip through the air making a sharp crack, Fang Zheng’s ferocious Fist Force exploded like a giant pillar.

The thief, weighing over a hundred pounds, flew off the ground, vomiting blood mid-air, eyes widened and twitching upon landing.

As if struck by electricity, like a catfish.

"Tap!"

Fang Zheng shifts his form; mud splashes as he charges towards the other three.

The Xingyi Fist’s charge isn’t airborne but skims the ground, each step harnessing the full body’s Power.

The one blocking ahead must face a fierce attack.

"Watch out!"

The one who spoke initially widened his eyes, swiftly retreated with an impressive speed.

The other two clearly lacked his skill; panic surged when Fang Zheng charged them, and before reacting, they were sent flying.

The Xingyi Fist’s Fist Force is aggressive and Fang Zheng is robust; being struck ans being down and unable to rise shortly.

Knocking down three consecutively, his motion eased.

"Ha!"

The remaining one’s eyes sparkled, seized the chance with a low shout, and sprang forward; his right leg lashed out at Fang Zheng’s head.

This kick was fierce.

But compared to the Sky-Flipping Kite’s Leg Technique, it was lacking.

Snake Form!

With a serpentine motion, Fang Zheng dodged the leg technique, closing in quickly as the opponent launched with double-leg strikes.

"Twelve Springing Legs?"

Fang Zheng raised his eyebrow:

"Turns out he’s a martial artist!"

Yet...

Just so-so.

His Fist stance rose, relying on force to brutally split the double legs, then a downward smash struck, massive Power directly slamd the opponent into the opposite end, splashing filthy mud.

Though seemingly slow, it all happened in the blink of an eye.

Quivering, Guo Erqiu’s scream hadn’t finished, yet four were on the ground in pain, leaving only Fang Zheng standing straight.

"Fang Zheng!"

Alarm morphing into elation, Guo Erqiu nearly jumped with excitent:

"You... you..."

"You’re amazing!"

She knew Fang Zheng trained martial arts under her grandfather and her grandfather was formidable, but hadn’t expected Fang Zheng to be so strong as well.

Four people,

Quickly subdued, just like in the movies!

"Now’s not the ti for that." Fang Zheng waved his hand, showing no sign of post-battle triumph, instead appearing solemn:

"Get the stuff first, more are coming."

"Ah!"

Guo Erqiu yelped in surprise, hurriedly retrieving the bag from the thief, and upon checking the contents felt relieved.

On the other side.

Fang Zheng gradually retreated, stretching his muscles.

Though he made it seem clean and swift against opponents, he too wasn’t unscathed.

The baton strike was hard; flesh ultimately couldn’t rival steel, already starting to bruise, the clashes with the other three were blunt forces too.

While trading blow for blow swiftly vanquished opponents, the countershock wasn’t negligible, especially with the last martial artist, his fists were still tingling.

The rapid burst in a short ti is equally astonishing in terms of physical exertion.

"From the looks of it, handling five or six adults should be my limit; if it’s seven or eight, it’ll probably be a fifty-fifty chance. Once it’s ten or more, as long as I’m surrounded, there’s almost no chance of winning."

"If I fight while escaping, I could probably handle around ten, provided there aren’t too many weapons."

Fang Zheng silently estimated his strength, then turned around, grabbed Guo Erqiu, and prepared to flee.

The footsteps from behind suggested no less than ten people, and the space here was too narrow to evade them easily; plus, he had to take care of Guo Erqiu...

Escape first, we’ll talk later!

"Guo Erqiu."

At this mont, an anxious voice rang out:

"Is the item on you?"

"Mr. Wang." Guo Erqiu froze, stopped running, and turned to look back:

"You..."

"The item is still here." A round, chubby man dashed over with a speed defying his physique, and his eyes sparkled at the sight of the bag. He took a step forward, grabbed it, and opened it.

Upon seeing its contents clearly, his expression instantly relaxed:

"Fortunately, fortunately!"

His attention was obviously only on the bag, disregarding the people on the ground or the dazed and confused Guo Erqiu, only concerned with what’s inside the bag.

"Secretary Qian."

Turning around, the chubby man smiled ingratiatingly:

"The item wasn’t lost."

"Hmm." The man addressed as Secretary Qian looked to be in his early thirties, wore glasses, and appeared refined and cultured. His gaze swept over the few people on the ground and his eyebrows slightly raised.

He then focused on Fang Zheng:

"Did our friend take action?"

"Yes."

Fang Zheng nodded, explaining:

"They tried to steal the item; I had to defend myself in response."

"No problem." Secretary Qian chuckled:

"As long as no one dies, everything can be resolved. Thank you this ti; I can’t show my face here. I’ll trouble Lawyer Wang to handle the rest."

"Yes, yes." The chubby man nodded repeatedly:

"I’ll call the Public Security Bureau."

"Alright." Secretary Qian patted the chubby man’s shoulder:

"Thank you."

"No need, no need." Just one sentence from the other party made the chubby man excited, and the excitent even distorted his expression.

"Who is this Secretary Qian?"

In Guo Erqiu’s dormitory, Fang Zheng asked curiously:

"He seems to have a high status."

"I don’t know." Guo Erqiu shook her head, her face slightly flushed.

Fang Zheng had suffered an injury and needed to apply so dicine, now sitting bare-chested at the bedside, revealing a physique full of explosive power yet not overly muscular.

For a young girl with no experience, this scene was rather shocking, so she spoke to divert her attention while applying the dicine:

"Just an ordinary divorce case, how could it... involve so many people?"

"Ordinary?" Fang Zheng replied:

"I’m afraid it’s not ordinary."

As for how it wasn’t ordinary, clearly they were unaware.

"Yesterday, Mr. Li visited the recently established Advanced Vocational and Technical College, giving approval and complints for the college’s plan..."

The screen in the room broadcasted the latest news.

"Mr. Zhao, along with others, hosted officials from the Lu Province’s cultural tourism departnt, introducing the history of Celestial Plate Mountain and Qu City Porcelain Capital among other scenic spots..."

"Hmm?"

Guo Erqiu blinked, pointing at the screen:

"Look, isn’t that Secretary Qian?"

Fang Zheng looked up, just in ti to see a familiar figure flash by on the screen, appearing behind Mr. Zhao; it was indeed Secretary Qian.

"I rember."

"Mr. Zhao is one of the three top contenders for the mayoral election, contesting as a district-level official?"

"Yes." Guo Erqiu pursed her lips:

"If he succeeds, the next four years..."

"That’s none of our concern." Fang Zheng interrupted her.

"True."

Guo Erqiu shrugged:

"You helped out a lot today; shall I take you to a concert?"

"A concert?" Fang Zheng asked:

"Chen Wan’s concert?"

"Yes." Guo Erqiu nodded:

"Uncle Zhou’s daughter will also go."

"I’ll treat you." Fang Zheng offered:

"Chen Wan graduated from our school; I can get front-row tickets."
