"Who could have thought that the girl was actually the lost daughter of the Wang Family, I really deserved this bad luck."

"I’m already lucky, just caught in the aftermath. Cheng Da is definitely dood this ti."

"So never underestimate a woman’s desire for revenge!"

He already knew what had happened. As a local of Qing Province, he was well aware of the Langya Wang Clan’s fearso reputation.

To be able to be pulled out from the Public Security Departnt, he was already imnsely grateful.

"Yes." Fang Zheng nodded and stopped to turn around and said:

"I’ll see you off here."

"We escort a friend a thousand miles, but we must eventually part." Bao Huisheng clasped his hands together in salute:

"Take care!"

"Take care."

Fang Zheng nodded.

"Monk." Bao Huisheng’s eyes turned as he spoke:

"I know my Martial Arts are not as good as yours, but just how strong are you? Can you give a demonstration?"

"Heh..." Fang Zheng chuckled lightly:

"I’m into Cultivation."

Bao Huisheng said nothing, just stared intently at him.

"Fine then!"

Fang Zheng shrugged:

"Watch carefully."

As the words fell,

the ground beneath him trembled slightly, then his body leaped up lightly, skimming towards a hillside.

The Daoist Robe fluttered like a dark cloud, silently vanishing into the dense forest, disappearing in an instant.

This leap,

was at least twenty or thirty ters!

It seed slow, yet was over in the blink of an eye.

Bao Huisheng blanked out, rubbed his eyes, even pinched himself hard before he helplessly smiled wryly:

"Damn..."

"Is this guy really into Cultivation?"

......

Huang Mountain.

Also known as Yishan in ancient tis.

The mountain stretches about 40 kiloters north to south, 30 kiloters east to west, covering an area of about 1,200 square kiloters.

The forest here is lush, with more than ninety-nine peaks over a thousand ters high.

Though a place of scenic and historical interest, most of its area remains undeveloped.

Southwest corner of Huang Mountain.

The morning mist had not yet dispersed as Fang Zheng, wearing his Daoist robe, tread over fallen leaves and branches, walking into a narrow mountain path.

"Songqiao Peak?"

He looked up at a distant peak and murmured to himself:

"This should be the place."

This ti coming to Huang Mountain was because soone had agreed to explore ancient ruins together, which might hold clues to the Ghost Script.

Broker Master Ji, although not skilled in Magic, has a wide network, involving governnt, business, and various circles.

He even knows a Feng Shui master, Elder Gou.

Elder Gou made his na in tomb raiding, his family reportedly originating from a Tomb Raider Captain, and his skills coming from tombs.

His family was relatively prosperous until an accident happened in Huang Mountain, where both his master and senior brother were killed.

This ti’s agreent to investigate is both to strike it rich and likely to investigate past incidents.

As for Fang Zheng...

He naturally ca for the Ghost Script.

His thoughts turned as an inn at a corner ahead made him pause slightly, then he walked towards it.

Realm of No Leakage ans he could go without food or drink for days, but eating is not just to fill the belly, it’s also to satisfy the palate.

"A guest!"

Before Fang Zheng even stepped inside, there was a shout from within.

This was a quaint, simple inn with two cars worth three to four hundred thousand parked at the entrance.

Inside, there were eight or nine square tables, three Great Han occupying one, playing cards intensely, faces flushed with excitent.

Piles of hundred-yuan bills, amounting to over ten thousand, were stacked on the table.

It seed they were gambling, and quite heavily.

"Guest,"

The server, dressed like soone from a costu drama, hurriedly ca out to greet and asked with a smile:

"What would you like to order?"

"Just whip up a couple of dishes and bring a large pancake." Fang Zheng glanced around and casually asked:

"This is Small Bao Inn, right?"

"It is." The server was stunned:

"How... does the Daoist know this place?"

"I’ve heard of it." Fang Zheng nodded:

"It’s said you do wild ga quite well. A friend asked to wait here."

"Oh!" The server’s eyes flickered:

"I understand. Since the Daoist has heard of this place, we will of course serve our best dishes."

"Please wait a mont."

Saying that, he bowed and left.

He didn’t say much.

A bowl of rabbit at, a plate of pickles were served, and the pancake was cut into small triangular pieces in a basket.

The rabbit at was tender and slightly spicy, lting in the mouth, while the pickles were crisp and slightly sweet, exceptionally appetizing.

Paired with their homade brewed liquor, it was a perfect match.

"Not bad!"

After eating and drinking to his fill, Fang Zheng stretched his muscles and called out to the server:

"Bill, please!"

"Alright." The server eagerly stepped forward, glanced at the clean plates on the table, and smiled:

"Did the Daoist enjoy the al?"

"I did." Fang Zheng nodded:

"How much?"

"Sixty-six thousand."

"How much?"

"Sixty-six thousand!"

The room fell silent.

The three n playing cards also paused, twisted their necks and wrists, and got up to surround them.

Fang Zheng looked at the bowls and dishes on the table, and said slowly:

"One bowl of spicy rabbit at, a plate of cold dishes, a pancake, and half a jin of liquor, and you want sixty-six thousand from ?"

"Exactly!"

The server’s lips curled into a smile as he spoke:

"The Daoist doesn’t know, this was a wild rabbit that grows up eating ginseng every day, the cold dish’s ingredients used antler, and especially the liquor you drank is our unique recipe, you can’t buy it with money outside."

"Charging you sixty-six thousand is already quite fair."

"Heh..." Fang Zheng chuckled lightly:

"So it seems, I got a bargain."

"Of course." The server nodded:

"Daoist, pay up."

The other three had cold smiles, with two flanking him, and one standing by the door to prevent escape.

"It’s too expensive," Fang Zheng shook his head:

"Can it be a bit cheaper?"

"Then let’s round it down to sixty thousand," the server waved his hand nonchalantly, acting very generous.

"Still too expensive." Fang Zheng shook his head.

"Go to hell." A Great Han lost his patience and shouted angrily:

"Stinky Daoist, hurry and pay!"

"What if I refuse?" Fang Zheng turned slightly, looking at the other.

"Refuse?" The Great Han sneered, grabbed a kitchen knife from the table behind him, and swung it at his head, shouting:

"I’ll make you pay!"

"Poo!"

The knife reversed in midair, slashing directly into the Great Han’s head, splitting his skull in half hanging on the neck.

At the sa ti,

an invisible Giant Power swept through the whole place.

As Power had said, several people spewed blood, their bodies torn apart, turning the entire hall into a bloody ss in an instant.

Only the place where Fang Zheng stood remained unstained by dust.

He stroked his chin, stepping towards the kitchen.
