Now reading: Chapter 117 - 116:Aurum Dracarys from Chaos Devourer System: My Classless Ascension, a Fantasy novel by IfIwasATr33.

The mont the object slid out of the deceptively deep compartnt, my eyes shone with literal stars as I beheld what was presented before ..

"That’s..." aunt v’s shocked exclamation caught my attention..

"You know what this is?" I couldn’t help asking..

"I have an idea of what it might be, it’s just, I didn’t think he actually succeeded in accomplishing that ridiculous demand" the shock in her voice wasn’t going away, in fact, it seed to be increasing the more she inspected the object..

I let her do her thing, my attention also returning to the object, I caught sight of a folded paper laying next to the object, picking it up, the contents were laid bare to my eyes..

"Hahahaha... what do you think? It’s aweso right?" I could hear the boisterous laughter of my old man as I read the text..

"It took a hell lot to get that old bastard Dorian to make this, humph, that undying cockroach thought he could sway by asking for the soul essence of one those undying old lizards" I paused here..

undying old lizards? Was this man talking about dragons? This thing was made with the soul of a dragon as a material?

You’d think I wouldn’t be so shocked, considering my old man was considered a once in a lifeti genius within a family that made a living from hunting dragons, but I was yet to wrap my head around the absurdity of it all, so hearing that what I was currently looking at, had the soul of a dragon and a very powerful one too from the looks of it, just made all the more excited..

"The shock on his face when and valen brought back a full(almost complete) dragon’s corpse, with it’s heart and soul still preserved, was sothing I’ll immortalize in my heart forever, hahahahaha..."

"Valen again, huh? Seems the old man wasn’t playing when he said they were brothers" after all, for soone to willingly go raid dragons, old and powerful ones, with you, they’d have to be just as crazy as you, I couldn’t picture that robotic old dude to such an image..

"This was the fruit of all my labor, she’s a masterpiece even more incredible than my own lovely vanquisher and she’s all yours"

I looked at the object once again, before continuing my read,

"I leave you no such things as arts or techniques, Use her however you wish , but use her well, make sure she gets the treatnt she deserves and make sure you give her a stage worthy of her, I’m entrusting her to you, do not disappoint " the letter ended here..

I folded it back, storing it away within my inventory..

Honestly, my old man didn’t need to tell anything about how to treat what I was looking at right now, because just one look and I already knew just how much carnage we were destined to cause together...

What I was looking at didn’t feel like a weapon that was made, yes, I said feel, because just by looking at it, I could feel the raw dominance emanating from its surface..

It felt like sothing that was chosen.

The halberd laid perfectly horizontal across a tallic tray, it’s 3 ter long shaft glinting softly, the first thing I noticed was obviously the shining body and that was because it was made entirely from radiant gold, not flashy, not loud, just refined to the point where it looked almost unreal under the light. It didn’t feel like treasure, no, it felt more like sothing that refused to lose its form no matter how long it existed..

I couldn’t resist the pull, my grip settled firmly on the shaft..

I felt it imdiately, it wasn’t smooth like I’d expected.

The surface had a scaly texture to it and from everything I read just now, it was clear what type of scales they were, dragon scales, they were layered and slightly raised, running cleanly down the length of its body. It gave the weapon a grounded weight in my hand, like it wasn’t just tal, but sothing that rembered pressure, impact, and survival.

My gaze traveled upwards.

The halberd head was where everything separated this masterpiece from normal weapons.

The dominant blade stretched long and clean, forming the weapon’s main edge. It carried a smooth, elegant curve, it was jagged and aggressive, but it didn’t feel like it lacked an ounce of control, like it was clearly designed for violence yet the elent of control wasn’t lost in the madness...

The edge itself was a polished, lethal silver sheen, so sharp it didn’t reflect light normally, It cut straight through instead. The tip arched upward in a subtle, serpent-like motion, as if it was always mid-strike even when still.

Beneath it, the second blade began near the base of the primary one.

It was slightly shorter, but not in any way lesser.

It swept downward in a wide, deliberate arc before curling back inward toward the shaft, creating a controlled counter-motion to the upper blade. It felt heavier in design, it wasn’t a decorative piece by any stretch of the imagination, it was thick enough to hold its own weight in battle rather than simply complent the upper edge.

Its shape didn’t bother imitating symtry.

It just completed a balance through opposition.

Running across both blades were subtledragonengravings, not carved aggressively, but flowing along the curvature like they were always part of the tal’s natural formation. They didn’t interrupt the structure, they followed it, like veins inside a living system.

The coiling image of a golden dragon that ran up the length of the entire shaft just added an even more ancient look to the entire weapon...

Gold, steel, scale-texture, and those quiet dragon lines all converged into sothing that didn’t feel ornantal or ceremonial.

It felt functional.

Purposeful.

Finalized.

When I held it steady, there was no sense of uncertainty from it.

No hesitation.

Just a quiet, absolute feeling that it was designed to end things cleanly... and I was simply the one allowed to decide when..

And things didn’t end there, they only got better as soon enough..

[You have acquired a , place a drop of blood to begin binding process]

My system chid with the latest developnt..

"Aunt V" I called out, not hurrying to do anything , despite having a pretty good idea what it ant..

"Yes, what is it?" Her attention finally moved from the blade toward ..

"It says here, that I’ve acquired sothing called a and it’s asking if I want to bind it" I asked for her input on the matter, she was more experienced after all, as there was a chance soul weapons here, might an sothing different from what I know in fantasy terms.

Lucky for , that wasn’t the case "you can bind it freely D, soul weapons are the best kind of weapon you can get and one like this, is even harder to co across" she said softly..

I didn’t need any other advice, I cut my thumb on sharp blade of the halberd as I let a drop fall on its surface..

[Binding in progress...

[Binding host to soul weapon ]

A cool feeling washed over as I felt a new presence attached to sothing deep within , sothing I knew was there but had no way interacting with..

The process was faster than I expected it to be, as soon after..
