Von Draken..

The mont I heard that na, my mind actually froze for a mont..

I’d co across a Von Draken a few days ago, but that guy had only just interacted from afar, trying to get captured for reasons I was sure weren’t purely selfless..

So, this would be my first ti actually interacting with mbers of my "family"...

"Heh.. cousin? Last I checked, my na was Dante Draven, so where did you get delusional enough to believe I would be the cousin to soone as pathetic as you?".

Co on, you didn’t actually expect to be nice to this guy did you? I was already running on empty from earlier, so I didn’t have the mind to put up with more bullshit, the fact that I hadn’t socketed a punch in his arrogant jaw, was already proof enough of my restraint..

"What... did you just say?" The blue haired imp seed shocked that I’d talk back, or maybe he was more shocked that I called him pathetic, either way, "I said, soone pathetic like you doesn’t have the privilege of being my cousin, especially not when you’re the son a slimy yellow bellied snake.." at this point, my voice had already gone cold..

I didn’t need much to recognize who’s kid this was, according to aunt v, father was the eldest of three, her and the current patriarch of the Von Draken, so the fact that this blue haired imp was calling himself my cousin, ant he was most probably the son of that snake..

The sa snake that had sohow gotten my old man dead and now he was trying to posture before , I was trying my best to respect valen’s words of "no fighting" without his sanction, but my control was failing ...

"Heh... I don’t know what I expected, after all, you were raised by that wretched——"

Boooooom!!!!!

Craaaaackkkkkkkkkk!!!!!

A massive explosion went off within area, disrupting the attention of everyone currently engrossed in the ongoing battle..

I had finally lost my cool, I didn’t need him to finish his words, they were about to cross a line that would’ve sent into a murderous rage...

"YOU DAREEE!!!!" The fool stood up in a blazing rage, his aura exploding outwards..

Ocean blue scales had started covering his body as a heavy might suffused into the air..

"You are going to pay for that..." his voice sounded like the grating of two tallic plates, I readied myself to deliver a glorious ass whooping, a little taste of things to co, but like always, there had to be interference..

A suffocating aura covered both of us , freezing us in place..

"What did I say earlier?" Valen’s cold voice reached our ears as his aura pressed down on us, I could hear my bones creaking under the ungodly pressure, my abilities seemingly failing to even work..

"There shall be no fighting unless I say so.." he continued, his aura only getting heavier..

"Did you not hear ? Or did you just choose to disregard my words?".

Crack!

Yep, that was definitely ..

I could hear my bones fracture by bits as the aura threatened to throw down..

I spared the blue haired fool a glance and my mood was uplifted when I saw his miserable state..

"This is your final warning.." with that, the aura vanished...

"HUFF!!..." I imdiately took in a deep breath..

My breathing had turned ragged, that was one of the most dreadful things I’d ever felt, second only to the feeling of absolute death I’d felt from the death tals that called themselves my grandfathers...

Damn old man wasn’t even pulling punches, not with his own goddamn godson..

Seriously, why the hell was every male figure my old man had decided to involve with so difficult to get along with???

"You...you will surely pay for this" the fool’s raggedy words caught my attention, his hair had turned disheveled, sweat running down his face like a broken dam, he looked like he’d been dropped into the middle of the ocean and now only brought back to the surface, his threats obviously fell on deaf ears..

So, as I watched the second arrogant prick waltz away, the only thoughts running through my head were those of how I was going to make them suffer appropriately for the impudence they had shown before ...

Booooommmmm!!!!!!!!

An earth shaking explosion drew mine and every other candidates attentions from the farce that had just ended..

Focus returning to the ongoing battle, I was right on ti to catch sight of the celestial youth driving his golden lance through the demonic youth...

The weapon went right through the filthy thing, jutting out its back..

Before the demon could co up with any counters..

"Seraph light arts: Radiance Eruption"..

A blinding flash of golden light followed by the demons gut wrenching scream told everyone that this battle might as well be good as done..

The mont the light show ended, that notion was more than solidified.

On the floor, twitching like an electrocuted worm, was what I could only call a piece of burnt coal, how that thing could still be alive eluded .

The demon had been charred so throughly it was impossible to understand how it still clung life since it had no visible orifices or even anything as recognizable as a body part...

And standing above him, the blonde celestial was currently trying to get his lungs working again as he took in deep, ragged breaths.

Clearly, that last attack had taken a lot out of him.

"The duel ends, the winner, Uria LightTorched" valen announced with little to no enthusiasm in his voice..

The "exhausted" celestial finally raised his head, a thin sheen of sweat coloring his brows..

I felt a jolt of excitent course through the air, it seems many were finally ready to pounce..

"I challenge the Elite class student, Uria LightTorched, to battle" soone declared boldly from the gathered candidates, the voice belonging to a curly brown haired youth, his 6ft tall muscular fra giving him a sowhat competent look, his face bore a confident and excited smile..

Just by the look of it, you could tell he was already envisioning his victory and the perks that would co with being part of the elite class..

Without another word, the curly brown haired youth launched himself into the arena..

"Give up, I don’t want people to say I took advantage of you after you lose" the young man crossed his arms, his posture that of soone already assured of success..

"Heh... to think even rabble would dare stand before an heir of light" the celestial youth rely chuckled..

"I warned you.." the curly haired youth’s expression soured..

Here he was, trying to be benevolent, only to get mocked..

"Don’t bla for what happens next.." saying this, the youth launched himself toward the celestial...

Schlick!!!!!

Following a brief flash of light, a scene that shook most of the opportunistic participants unfolded..

Faster than most of their eyes could see, a golden light spear had impaled the curly haired youth all over his body.

The spear taking a permanent location within his midsection as the young man bled away..

The "exhausted" celestial was currently standing tall, fully recovered, no signs of exhaustion whatsoever on his face as he slung the dying youth off his light spear..

"Alright, who’s next?" Silence..

Absolute and utter silence..

The candidates that thought this was their chance froze completely, none daring to take any chances..

"Heh.. as expected." An instructor chuckled..

"An heirship contender isn’t soone just anyone can handle" another chid in..

"The young demon does have promise, to have pushed little Uria this far" the voice belonged to an aged man in priestly robes, his hands stroking his goatee softly..

"Heh.. but in the end, he lost didn’t he?" The first instructor laughed..

"Seems we won’t be getting any changes this ti huh?" Another instructor couldn’t help asking..

"I wouldn’t be so sure about that, there are a lot of dark horses this ti" a female instructor with green hair and blue eyes smiled..

Before the others could question her or reply, there was suddenly movent within the arena..

"Oho... seems like she’s finally decided to show herself" the female instructor smiled even wider..

.....

Back at the arena, the silence had been broken by the soft footsteps of a young woman..

Her blue hair glittered like a frozen lake, the white robes she wore hugged her curves so perfectly they were like a second skin, the high slit at the side showing glimpses of her thick thigh, the sway in her voluptuous ass caught the attention of about 80% of the n there, that was including the instructors and supervisors...

"Apollo Calder, I don’t believe you’re using that elite status for anything right? Why not give it to this young lady, fufufufu..."
