City lord carrion and the ugly faced bitch trailing not far behind and behind them I could spot Micheal, his face was downtrodden and he looked to have not had any form of rest for the past two days..

"It seems you believe my words of no value" valen’s voice sounded out once again, sohow he’d already arrived before and the others, his face expressionless as he regarded us..

"With all due respect overseer, I believe we’re allowed to make our choices, so you saying we should just quit out of fear is looking down on us a bit too much no?" I could see his face twitch at the sound of my voice..

Don’t get wrong, I didn’t speak up for these bums, I could care less what they did, I just didn’t want anyone looking down on ..

"If you were going to just discourage and spite us, then why bother yourself at all by coming here? We could’ve very well carried on without your presence"

"You, the one least qualified of everyone here dares to make such bold statents?" His words were calm, factual, not an ounce of contempt just plain disregard..

I wasn’t fazed, in fact, I grinned instead..

"In case you’ve forgotten, this useless E-rank talent wielder just turned soone with an SS-rank talent and SSS-rank bloodline,into an invalid that doesn’t even dare raise his head in my presence.."

We arrived promptly before an unassuming building, the front door looking like it had seen better days..

"Let’s go in" valen walked in ahead of us, The city lord and others following closely behind..

and the rest of the participants didn’t dawdle, we swiftly made our way inside...

And what we saw...

"Woah!!"

A vast expanse unfurled before us, stretching further than the eye could see. The air was crisp and carried a faint, echoing silence that spoke of its imnse scale. Overhead, the ceiling arched like a forgotten sky, punctuated by colossal columns that seed to touch the distant, shadowy reaches. Light, diffused and ethereal, spilled from unseen sources, painting soft gradients across surfaces that dissolved into a hazy horizon. There was an overwhelming sense of freedom, yet also a profound insignificance within its boundless embrace.

The exclamations of wonder and awe all around was understandable...

I couldn’t even begin to understand how it was possible for such a unassuming place when looked at from the outside to house such an expansive space..

"Must be space magic bullshit".. that was the only logical explanation here..

Now, just when I thought I’d been shocked enough today,

A deafening screech sounded from the sky, accompanied by a sudden gust of wind that threatened to blow everyone away..

Now, This world was incredibly advanced after all, so it was expected that soone of the overseer’s caliber, would have at least a private jet or sothing he used to get around with..

That’s what I thought, at least till I laid eyes on the thing before ..

Descending from the skies like a king surveying his subjects..

Over 50 ters long from the tip of its head to its tail..

Was a creature with the body, tail, and hind legs of a lion, and the head, wings, and talons of an eagle.

Yes... you guessed correctly..

It was a motherfucking Griffon...

"Damn... where can I get one?"
