They introduced themselves...
Yet before I could wrap my head around everything, they said sothing even more absurd than everything else I’d heard today..
"But you little fella .." the knight pointed the massive great sword at , "you can call us Grandpa".....
My brain short circuited...
"Wha..what??" Just what the fuck was I hearing right now?
First my old man seed to be acquainted with dungeon monsters..
Then I hear they trained him..
Now they’re telling to call them grandpa?
"Like fuck hell I will!" I blurted out before I could stop myself..
"Bahahahaha..." they laughed...
"I can understand your confusion little one.. but unfortunately, I cannot clear them for you" the dullahan, Omari, spoke up..
"If you’re able to survive this and arrive at the real tower, I am sure we’ll et again, by then, all will be made clear" he concluded..
"But for now, little one, try to survive" the mont those words landed...
A gigantic lance tore through my midsection before my brain could even register the motion. it was like the concept of distance didn’t exist..
My lower body disintegrated, my upper body blasting backwards as scread into action, rejecting my fate, another 30,000CE being consud...
"Shit..." I hadn’t even gotten the words out before a massive greatsword had already severed my newly acquired body into two, the severed parts blasting outwards in two different directions..
Another 30,000CE saw reforming instantly, the consumption showing just how much inevitability I had been rejecting..
Now, the sequence of events seed to take a lot of ti to describe, but they all happened in less than an instant...
I’d always been proud of my speed, claiming to "manifest" before those who couldn’t comprehend the speeds I moved at..
It wasn’t until now that I realized just how foolish I’d been..
The two stopped after that, they rely "looked" at ..
"Shit..." my CE was dangerously low, I couldn’t afford another hit like that...
"You’re going to die if you continue trying to hold back" the knight said gravely..

I knew I was going to lose if I didn’t do sothing quick..
I’d already lost the chance to take advantage of my with the amount of CE I had now, I wouldn’t be able to cause significant damage before running out..
And I very much doubted I could actually cause that much damage without sothing extre...

A familiar black miasma drifted out of ..
