The effect was as instantaneous as the horrifying drop in energy in my energy tank..

My face went ghastly pale as I staggered backwards...

My little devouring session had increased my energy tank once more but all that seems for naught as one move imdiately drained of 99% of that energy...

Yet I couldn’t deny the effect...

The death fog, the knight’s voice, his presence..

Everything disappeared... the floor cleared up instantly...

"Hmmmmm????" I could hear the absolute shock and surprise, not just from the knight, but also from the dullahan that had only been watching up until now...

"What did you do?" Mormon asked, voice solemn..

"Haaa...haaa... leveled the playing field..."

With what little energy I had left, i willed Storm’s Descent active again, but this ti, not for the boosts, no..

The mont the storm appeared, I activated another ability..

"Devouring Sky"..

The sky turned pitch black, the all consuming darkness of chaos enveloping the entire floor...

The storm vanished within the darkness as I could feel my reserves being rapidly replenished...

The two n finally snapped out of their thoughts...

"Hahahaha... good.. let’s see how much difference this makes" Mormon Du Mont laughed wildly as he charged towards ..

He appeared before just like he’d been doing since the battle began, but this ti, I was in my own elent..

"Void pressure" the mont the words left my lips, the charging knight froze, the space surrounding it cracked and shattered violently as a void storm threatened to swallow him whole...

"Oh no you don’t.... Atmospheric erasure..."

The skill cut off mid cast, the void successfully collapsing inward...

Booooommmmmm!!!!!!!!!

A deafening boom shook the entire floor as the collapsing void imploded, sending shockwaves across the floor....

I looked at the aftermath of my attack and satisfaction surged through ...

The knight that had withstood everything I had thrown at it was currently standing on only one leg..

It’s arms had been turned into scrap tal..

The fact that he survived a collapsing void is already testant to his ability...

"Hahahahahaha... boy!! That was marvelous..." he laughed, his tallic body squirming, I could see he was trying to regenerate..

"Not on my watch, gramps....SNAP!!"

Atmospheric erasure shut down the attempt..

"Hmmm?" He paused, realizing I’d stopped whatever he was planning...

"Wonderful.. you should’ve started with this right away, would’ve spared you a beating" Mormon laughed, unbothered about his miserable state..

"I couldn’t go about ending the fight too quickly now could I?" I bluffed..

I was already on my last legs, it was taking everything in to hold absolute dominion over the entire environnt but the constant encroachnt of death made the energy expenditure an absolute nightmare..

I had to end this, and I had to end it fast...

"I guess, this is where I get involved" the dullahan finally rose up..

"Oh no you don’t!! You promised I’d be the one to take this fight" Mormon roared indignantly..

"And yet, look at you. You’re halfway to destruction already and if we don’t complete our mission then that petty woman will probably hound us to death" the dullahan, Omari, replied..

I didn’t know what they were taking about, and I didn’t care much either..

What I cared about was the fact that, if this dullahan decide to get involved, then I was utterly fucked...

I need to end this now...

So, I silently pulled all my Chaos energy...

My control over the environnt coming undone as the death essence roared back into existence..

I paid it no mind..

Before the two monsters before could react, I pulled one of my ultimates...

Abyssal Descent!!!!!

There was a brief mont of stillness..

Even the Death essence that was roaring madly seed to feel the weight of the mont as it stalled..

And then...

Craaaaaaaccccccckkkkkkkk.....

A massive crack resounded within the entirety of the floor as the sky.... COLLAPSED...

Not figuratively or taphorically..

As my chaos energy reserves hit zero...

The entire sky collapsed in an apocalyptic manner..

In what felt like the very heavens themselves crashing down, it devoured everything beneath it...

The floor, the death essence, the two ruinous knights..

Nothing was spared..

[DIIING!!]

I could barely process the resounding chi that went off in my head as...

Everything collapsed completely, I myself only being spared when a bright light covered and teleported away, not before I could hear the fading voices of the two n..

"We’ll be waiting for you at the tower... dear grandson..hahahahaha....."

"Stupid old n..."

I shook my head speechless, as the light finally teleported away, in a twist of events, not toward the next floor, because following the familiar flashing of lights, I appeared in the midst of a roaring crowd...
