"ROAR!"
Suddenly, the black monster let out a furious roar, and a monstrous wave of black gas erupted from its body!
"You... must... die!"
A stiff, murderous voice ca from the black monster’s mouth, and the very air in the space seed to freeze solid!
"SHING!" The black monster’s broken Bone Spikes shot out from its elbows once more, now even longer than before. Their sharp, Powerful Qi could be felt even from a great distance!
In the next mont, the black monster’s figure flickered and vanished on the spot. It moved so fast that Shen Haoran couldn’t track its movents at all!
"BANG!"
With a muffled thud, the black monster abruptly appeared in front of Shen Haoran. It drove its knee straight into his chin, launching him into the air. Before Shen Haoran could even catch his breath, the black monster appeared before him again. Warm blood splattered onto the black monster’s face. It stuck out its crimson tongue and licked the blood into its mouth, a hint of excitent showing on its face.
"Such delicious blood!" The black monster leaned forward, its green-tinged fangs less than a milliter from the tip of Shen Haoran’s nose. Shen Haoran could even sll the foul stench coming from the monster’s body.
"I was going to keep you around to play with for a while. But you dared to get rough with this precious body of mine. How can I possibly tolerate that?" the black monster said grimly, licking its lips. As it spoke, the Bone Spike in its elbow extended again, driving deeper into Shen Haoran’s shoulder.
"HISS..."
The intense pain made Shen Haoran suck in a sharp breath, his face growing even paler. He glared coldly at the black monster, trying to break free of its hold, but the black gas rampaging through his body left him completely powerless.
Although Shen Haoran had the Fire Spirit Black Obsidian inside him, in his current state, he couldn’t unleash its power. The Fire Spirit Black Obsidian could only act on its own to protect its master, tightly guarding Shen Haoran’s Dantian to prevent the black gas from seeping in and damaging his Spirit Crystal.

Hearing Shui Ruolan’s cry, the light in Shen Haoran’s previously dim eyes suddenly flared. Staring at the approaching Bone Spike, he yelled coldly, "If you want dead, you’re not getting out of this alive either! Take this!"
Suddenly, a strange fluctuation emanated from within Shen Haoran’s body. Under this fluctuation, the black gas clinging to his ridians swiftly dissipated as if it had encountered its natural enemy. Freed from the black gas’s restraints, the Spiritual Power in Shen Haoran’s body began to flow once more.

A soft hum echoed through the hall. Then, a speck of light erupted from Shen Haoran’s body and shot straight toward the center of the black monster’s brow. The powerful Energy fluctuation made the entire hall begin to shake!
’What is that...?’ Seeing the tiny speck of light, the black monster’s scalp went numb, and a powerful sense of crisis washed over it. It imdiately ignored Shen Haoran and retreated explosively.
"Trying to run? Too late!" Shen Haoran gritted his teeth against the searing pain in his shoulder and ford a Sealing Technique with one hand. The tiny speck of light flickered and then vanished, hurtling toward the black monster!
This tiny speck of light was the Spirit Seed Shen Haoran had spent months condensing—a forged Heaven and Earth Spirit! And now, he had actually detonated it!
