"You’re lucky you ran fast!"
Ling Feng took a deep breath, clutching his chest, a trickle of blood at the corner of his mouth.
Although he appeared fierce, claiming he would slay Ancestor Ba Tu, the joint force of the Three Supres was no ordinary matter. Even though Ling Feng seed to have suppressed them steadily, he had overexerted a vast amount of Qi-Blood Power.
The Dragon Elephant Divine Power was so tyrannical that it placed enormous strain on the body. Coupled with the fact that Ling Feng had just broken through to the Ten Dragons Power and imdiately engaged in such a fierce battle, it was already remarkable that he managed to hold on until now.
Fortunately, Ancestor Ba Tu was intimidated by Ling Feng and chose to flee. Otherwise, if the fight had continued, it was hard to say who would have prevailed.
Slowly landing back on the ground, Ling Feng wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth. The Hui Yue Saintess was half-leaning against a giant stone, barely alive, and weakly staring at Ling Feng, muttering, "Why... let him... go?"

Ling Feng rubbed his nose. Regardless of anything, this woman was Jiang Biyi’s mother and had helped him refine the Burning Sky Dragon Fire. Though he did it for self-preservation, he felt it would be remiss to leave her here carelessly.
"Corpse Puppet, pick her up and follow !"
Ling Feng glanced at the fallen Hui Yue Saintess, too weak to muster any strength. He had no choice but to order the Corpse Puppet to help carry the Hui Yue Saintess.
Luckily, there was still a Corpse Puppet left. Otherwise, in their current state, even a single Demon beast could easily defeat them both.
About fifteen minutes later, Ling Feng finally found a relatively hidden cave, left the Corpse Puppet to guard outside, and started a bonfire inside.
For tonight, they would have to make do with resting here.
After checking on the Hui Yue Saintess’s condition, he noted she was severely injured but surprisingly still alive.

Ling Feng frowned, taking out a few Elixirs to restore Qi and blood, placing them into the mouth of the Hui Yue Saintess.
What happened next depended on her own fortunes.

As ti ticked by and night darkened, ghostly wails and howls began to echo outside. The Death Soul Demon Abyss was once again stirring the demons into a frenzy.
Thankfully, Ling Feng had refined the Burning Sky Dragon Fire, and with a Corpse Puppet guarding the cave entrance, they should be able to rest peacefully for the night.
In a daze, Ling Feng suddenly heard a shivering voice. Opening his eyes wide, he discovered the entire cave seed to have been sealed in ice.
Evidently, the woman Hui Yue Saintess, in her unconscious state, had allowed her internal cold aura to go berserk. The Yin Cold Energy filled the entire cave, awakening Ling Feng from the cold.
"This woman is really such a hassle!"
Ling Feng looked at the Hui Yue Saintess, now encased in a massive block of ice.
Even the bonfire he kindled with the Swallowing Fla had been frozen over by this cold aura.
"Damn, you’re not about to die, are you?"
Conflicted, Ling Feng hesitated. From a personal perspective, he couldn’t wait for the woman to die quickly and be free. But rembering Jiang Biyi was a friend who’d saved him, not saving her mother felt too unkind.
"Fine, fine! I’ll do a good deed to the end!"
Sighing, Ling Feng leapt behind the Hui Yue Saintess, channelling the Swallowing Fla Power. The purple fire rose, soon lting the ice encasing Hui Yue Saintess.
Ling Feng then supported her body, gently pressing against her back, channelling Fire Elental Power to counter the cold aura, hoping she would wake up on her own.
However, he underestimated the Hui Yue Saintess’s Cold Moon Power.
Like Tuoba Yan, she possessed a Xuanyin Body and cultivated Cold Moon Spiritual Power, making the Yin within Yin, and her Yin Cold Energy was beyond what Ling Feng’s cultivation could resist.
Soon, Ling Feng felt the cold energy reverse, infiltrating his body, causing him to shiver.
"Hiss... Hiss..."
Ling Feng inhaled sharply, his face turning blue from the cold. With gritted teeth, he channeled the Supre Yang Fire to resist the cold.
Since refining a Yin Yang Stone, Ling Feng had mastered the Supre Yang Fire and Yin Water, later comprehending the Yin Yang secret technique, elevating his Supre Yang Power further.
Now, using the Supre Yang Fire to counter the Hui Yue Saintess’s Profound Yin power was initially effective, but soon, his Supre Yang Fire struggled to withstand, with the Yin Cold Power advancing, freezing him.
Ling Feng was now riding a tiger and unable to dismount. Even if he wished to let go, he couldn’t.
"Damn, I shouldn’t have foolishly played the hero!"
Ling Feng regretted internally, having overestimated his strength. Hui Yue Saintess, nearing a Semi-Saint, had Yin Cold Energy that his minor firepower couldn’t counter.
