Now that things had developed so far; had fallen so deep; how to take advantage of them?

Calm forced Black to go through the question, regardless of his fury against the Tiline.

How to turn chaos in favor, squeezing out the greatest benefits possible, had always been a hallmark of Chaos' Contestants anyway; and it was more so for Kai, whose nature was dictated by the benefits themselves.

Black looked around, saw the panic, and... the Ad Infinitum and Lucky Intuitions together nudged him to do one thing that made him smile.

Two tis he had already done this before, spreading despair in different tilines.

Now, for the first ti, and in the open, he wanted to do that again.

-Co out,- Black hissed, his shadow rippling, -Dentors...-

...

A cold seeped into the world's seams.

Fifteen level 1 Dentors, over 2.3 tres tall, and one Level 2 Dentor, over 3 tres tall, suddenly found themselves surrounded by the greatest source of Soul Points — young wizards and witches!

Kai had been kidnapping squibs using Lord of Azkaban for a long ti now.

Along with experinting on their genes, they served one more purpose, though — A Source of Despair!!!

With hundreds of people stuffed under the Cunestune's village, in constant torture and hideous experints, Kai had no lack of despair to use his Dentors Progenitor Skill, birthing four more level 1 Dentors.

With the upgraded B- Dentor's Blood Essence, 55% of the soul points sucked out by his Dentors would go directly into his Blood Essence.

Also, it wasn't like he wanted to kill the children.

He just wanted their Souls... which would leave a few of them in a vegetative state... that's all.

The mont the Dentors ca out, with Black's one thought, they pounced on the older students, sucking out their happiness.

"Soone use Patronus..." a seventh-year student shouted, but his scream got buried under the gaping mouth of the Dentor.

If the sudden appearance of the Dentors wasn't enough, then even greater panic slithered across the Hogwarts students as a giant serpent towered above them.

The Phoenix had already pecked its eyes out, but it couldn't damage it further, no matter how much it clawed at its face. The 60-foot-long Basilisk was an undead; an abomination. It didn't care for pain. Nor did it care for a bug stuck to its face.

The only things that were alive about this creature were its petrifying gaze, which it had already lost, and... its venomous fangs.

The mont the serpent heard the screams, as the students tried to run away from the Dentors, the undead Basilisk accurately got to know the direction in which it should bring down its fury.

With one great slither, it crossed the distance between the railway tracks where it had fallen to the derailed Hogwarts Express.

HISS!

Students, from first to seventh year, began screaming and jumping off the train over to the other side.

Unfortunately, that was the side of the train where the undead Graphorn and Zouwu had fallen.

The skeleton beasts growled maddeningly, shaking their heads. A few of their bones had broken off and so had dislocated.

Suddenly, the ghostly, green fire in their eye sockets churned, burning furiously.

In the next mont, the broken and dislocated bones lifted and attached themselves to the skeletons.

ROAR!!

But not all students had jumped off the train. Not all students had lost their wits. Not all students lacked the courage to co to terms with the sudden, dire circumstances they seed to have thrown into.

There were quite a few sixth and seventh years, their hands shaking as they clutched their wands tightly. Most of them kept looking for a way out, but so were concerned about the youngsters, too.

A few of the exceptional seventh-years could also use Patronus Charm, their silvery, ghostly familiars bombarding the Dentors, trying to keep them away from children.

Another group exchanged hurried glances and ran toward the first and second years, preparing for the worst-case scenario.

The number of fifth years on the train was abysmally low, with the only recognizable faces belonging to Percy Weasley and Oliver Wood.

Percy, of course, kept shouting to all to listen to him, holding his Prefect Badge high over his head.

From the fourth year, only a girl remained on the train, her eyes shifting left and right, trying to find her friends; all hope lost for her.

Surprisingly, the greatest number of students who were still holding their own belonged to the group of first to third-years. They were also the only ones for whom the Dentors hadn't co yet.

In a herd, Katie Bell, Alicia Spinnet, Angelina Johnson, Lee Jordan, and Fred and George Weasley were standing with their backs to each other.

"Can you see them?!" Fred shouted.

George's pale face kept looking to his left, trying to see any hint of the girls and Ron. "No... No!"

"Fuck!" Angelina cursed, seeing Basilisk, the Dentors, and the undead, giant skeletons.

"Go!" Lee shouted. "We can manage..."

Despite saying that, they knew there was no managing this situation.

None of the students even knew what kind of, and of what scale, magical battle the Dark Wizards had pulled them into.

From thereon, the first years were scattered like bugs under the shadow of the giant serpent.

Hannah Abbott, Susan Bones, and Ernest Macmillan were stuck together, shaking from head to toe. To their left, the Patil twins were huddled with their backs to Michael Corner and Anthony Goldstein.

Right next to them were Darcie and Daphne, followed by a white-faced Neville clutching his wand with both hands.

He kept nearing towards the girls, skidding his steps over the iron, muttering sothing incomprehensible.

And following Neville like a shadow was Dean Thomas, carrying a toad in his hands.

Strangely, the only student who was standing alone over the train was Hermione Granger.

She had fallen to her knees, gaping at the Basilisk with utter terror on her face.

As the beast threw its head left and right, getting confused by the many screams and trying to swat the annoying Phoenix away, it also kept shifting and slithering towards Hermione.

Finally, after two empty compartnts were Black, Harry, and Ron.

The Malfoy-gang couldn't be seen anywhere, but you could spy Draco kicking and pushing his way through the crowd from the grounds as he realized his sister was still on the train.

He kicked a long boy right between the legs when the other guy refused to budge. His heart was thumping wildly.

"Dobby!" Draco cried for the tenth ti. However, his words failed to penetrate the Bounded Field.

"I am so gonna kick your ass..." he muttered, twisting his lips. "I don't care what Darcie says anymore... Move away, you filth!"

...

Up in the sky, Ekrizdis panted as he warded off Dumbledore's magic.

He looked down and, at first, frowned at the sight of the Dentors. He hadn't called them out.

Then, guessing who could be behind the Dentors' appearance, he let out a maniacal laugh.

"Ha-ha! Have the quality of students... fallen so low in Hogwarts... Professor?" he gibed, a wormy grin slithering across his face. "What do you teach... them? Fear and... Cowardice?"

Flying away from a purple pillar of fire, Albus Dumbledore spied the students pressed between the Dentors and the undead Basilisk, Graphorn, and Zouwu. The dragon kept pressing on him even when the Inferi took a mont of respite.

No matter how the Headmaster tried, he couldn't get a chance to shake off the magical duel he was tangled into and go down to cast the Dentors away from the children.

Suddenly, just as Lord Ekrizdis was about to begin another round of attack, a Hippogriff descended from above and clawed at him.
