The mont Kai took another step, Illya and Berserker’s heads snapped toward him.
Before the two storyline characters could show any more reactions, though, a redness seeped into the world, blurring their visions.
The snow beneath their feet got replaced by a sheet of blood.
The storm raging overhead was replaced by a dull grayness.
A gray, archaic pillar sprouted from the spot where Kai was standing, causing the blood ripple.
High and high, the pillar rose until a blackness began taking shape right above his head.
Soon, the blackness overwheld all colors and everything, becoming large.
A black hole, as if punctured right through the sky, humd above Kai’s head, radiating ancientness.
A bloody red glow began morphing around the black hole, then, and a river of blood fell out of it, disappearing into the blood ocean underneath with a gurgling sound.
Illya’s red pupils narrowed at the sight.
She shuffled on her feet, looking around, and noticed that the sheet of blood didn’t react to her movents at all.
"A Noble Phantasm?" she mumbled to herself. "No. A Reality Marble..."
Her head again snapped toward the white dressed man, a yellow clock fluttering behind him despite the distinct lack of wind.
She noticed his eyes.
Pure. Gentle. Full of rcy. And... Calm.
This man... Illya confird, her heart thumping against her chest. ... is dangerous.
Suddenly, activating her magic circuits, she looked at the man, hoping to unravel his identity.
What she saw left her shocked, making her take a step back involuntarily.
"You... don’t have Magic Circuits..." Illya comnted in disbelief. "Then how..."
In return, Limitless Murasa and Supre Sounga appeared in Kai’s hands.
Illya’s brows rose.
Then, bending her back and holding her stomach, she laughed.
"Hahahahahah....." The laugh of a little girl echoed in the surroundings, the blood ocean carrying it far and wide. "Hahahahaha..."
Kai, of course, knew that she only looked like a little girl, but, in reality, she was a year older than the Pri Character — Shirou Emiya.
"Who..." Illya said, trying to hold back the laugh. "Who sent you? Matou Family?"
That she had summoned a servant, well before the true comncent of the Holy Grail War, was a fact unknown to all.
If there was soone who could have remotely guessed about it, then it was those lechers, especially the Matou family head.
"Heracles — A Berserker Class Servant," Kai said, his voice reaching Illya clearly. "God Hand, Noble Phantasm. He cannot be killed unless I kill him 12 tis in a row."
Illya’s laugh died.
Noble Phantasms were the truest secrets of a Heroic Spirit, related to the myths left behind when these figures were alive.
Berserker’s God Hand Noble Phantasm was related to Heracles’ twelve labors.
Generally, Noble Phantasms needed a great amount of Mana to even activate. However, in the case of Berserker, his Noble Phantasm remained in a permanent state of activation.
That wasn’t all, though.
The Berserker Class bestowed the Mad Enhancent Skill upon Heracles, raising his combat capabilities at the cost of reason.
That was, of course, on top of the monstrous combat prowess Berserker already possessed in this tiline.
Kai stared at the Servant that didn’t exist in this tiline, making it impervious to his Shikai.
Berserker was a hulking giant, dark skinned, and muscles donning its body as if etched on stone. He had a headful of long, black hair, rippling wildly. He was also carrying a stone axe, which, if Kai wasn’t rembering it wrong, was just stone weighing over a ton, and nothing magical.
"Berserker..." Illya slowly said, smiling. "... I am already bored. Kill him."
ROARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!
Imnse waves of Magical Energy rocked the entire Reality Marble.
Berserker’s dark skin gained a red tinge as if the blood within was boiling, becoming lava.
With a massive BOOM, it shot toward the target, almost instantly crossing the massive distance between it and Kai.
Suddenly, eying the strange calmness on Kai’s face, Illya frowned.
In the very next mont, a chill ran down her spine.
One by one, eyes began opening up under the sheet of the blood ocean. So were far. So were near. So were grouped.
With a splashing boom, a titanic arm reached out and grabbed Berserker.
Then, the entire thing walked out, rivers of blood dripping off its humongous back as it stood on its hind legs.
ga Kaiju!!!
The over 2500 ton monster, and over 100 ters tall, had manifested in its entirety in the Limitless Blood Firmant for the first ti.
The Kaiju brought Berserker away from Kai, who hadn’t even moved an inch, and to its mouth, eying the puny thing with all of its ten eyes planted on it.
Then, against the redness, a blue color overwheld Illya and Heracles’ vision as the Kaiju opened its mouth and let out a roar.
It was like a nuclear blast had gone off on the horizon.
Red Magic Circuits shone on Illya’s body as she countered its effect.
Then, under her shocked gaze, the monster lifted Berserker like a toy and slamd it down.
Tsunamis overwheld the Reality Marble, drowning Illya. Like a giant ripple, blood waves struck the nonexistent ends, bouncing off them.
"BERSERKER!" Illya shouted, holding onto her vision. "I TOLD YOU TO — KILL HIM!!!"
In the blood ocean, directly under the pillar where Kai was standing, Ayin was standing in Kai’s place in the reflection.
The mont Illya finished her words, the Zanpakuto, who had remained silent so far, shook.
-KAI!- Ayin hissed with a tone that she had perhaps never used before. -CAREF...-
Unfortunately, she couldn’t finish the sentence.
With a screeching, tearing, and deafening bang, Berserker appeared over Kai, hacking off Kaiju’s humongous arm in half.
With the Ad Infinitum and the Lucky Intuitions, Kai had beco used to not getting surprised or shocked by anything these days.
So, when Berserker, giving off red and black fus, hacked at him with a power that sent a chill running down his spine, Kai smiled at the feeling like eting an old friend.
The simple stone axe t Supre Sounga.
And an evil dragon’s agonizing roar filled the Reality Marble, the stone axe cracking the sword, cleaving Kai in half, and then pulverizing the pillar beneath his feet.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!
