Berserker’s roar rattled the surroundings, gusts of wind surging like the brewing of a storm.
With one lunge, Venom bood across the space and landed in front of Saber, his right hand morphing into the shape of a curved sword.
At this mont, Black and Kai couldn’t afford to hesitate about killing Saber — one of the major storyline Characters of the Fate tiline.
Things had already gone outside Kai’s control with the coming of Ruler, Assassin, Overload, and a Contestant that couldn’t be found anywhere.
The faster he killed the Servants and let the Holy Grail manifest within Black, the less the chances of him failing his plans in this world.
Also, to kill Saber, he didn’t need to actually kill her.
Once weakened, dea was ready on the sidelines to finish the job, just like she had obliterated Hassan of the Cursed Arm.
So, this wasn’t the ti to hold back — at all.
A redness surged within Venom, boiling his black flesh like lava, as Selfless Breathing took over.
Venom already granted a heavy boost to Kai’s Stats.
With Selfless Breathing and Kaiju’s buff compiled on top of it, there wasn’t much difference remaining between him of now and the actual Berserker before the Heroic Spirit had begun surpassing his own myth in the Reality Marble.
Venom’s foot created a crater as he stabilized his footing.
A rattling, red breath ca out of his fanged mouth, his large, white eyes planted deep into Saber’s blues.
Throwing off her yellow hood, she wielded the invisible sword and hacked.
Sword t sword and a BOOM obliterated the road, the surrounding trees, and almost everything within a dozen-ter radius.
Black’s eyes narrowed, becoming needles, as he saw Saber and Venom, their swords locked, letting out bristling sparks.
He’d expected Saber to be strong — much stronger than other Servants.
However, it would be to this extent, holding off an empowered Venom’s blow was almost unthinkable.
Suddenly, through Venom, Black noticed one more thing.
Saber wasn’t putting her everything in defending against Venom’s blow.
She’s injured... Black concluded. Who? Lancer? No... That event couldn’t have played out in this tiline... then...
Saber must have realized Venom picking up on her lessened strength as well, for she gritted her teeth and pulled the sword back before hacking again.
A deafening boom rang out as the blow sent Venom flying.
Saber blurred and reappeared on top of him, hacking down with the sword.
To her surprise, she found Venom smiling at her, a long tongue slithering out of his fanged mouth.
"Who would’ve thought..." Venom growled, shocking everyone. "You must really like the color blue... for you to wear blue panties..."
Saber’s eyes fud. "HAAAAAAA!"
Booms and bangs rang out as Saber and Venom exchanged blows, each one dodging the others’ by the width of a hair.
"How is that a Berserker?!" Rin gasped, seeing Venom’s agility.
Standing next to her, Shirou looked at Saber worriedly. Then, he looked at Sakura and Black and said, "Stop it! You don’t have to do this..."
Rin slamd Shirou’s back. "Snap out of it! It’s already happening! We will think about saving Sakura later... Let’s save ourselves first!"
Then, looking at Venom blasting away Saber, she shouted in her mind. "Archer!"
Almost a mile away, on top of a skyscraper, Archer lifted his bow, an arrow appearing on the string as he pulled it.
In the next instant, hundreds of red arrows lit up the dark sky with a red hue as they appeared over Berserker’s head.
Letting out a shout, Saber hacked at Berserker, pushing him toward the incoming arrows even more.
Under the rain of arrows, Venom’s white eyes suddenly let out a filthy, yellow glow.
Clouds of dust bood across the destroyed surroundings as the arrows landed one after another.
Even Saber had to take a step back as the gusts of wind hit her across the face.
"Wow..." Rin praised. "That was..."
"Sigh..."
Rin’s brows pressed together as she heard Archer’s sigh. "What?!"
In front of her, Saber’s gaze had hardened as well, making her let out a breath to calm herself down.
"He must be a Heroic Spirit of sothing extrely renowned..." Saber comnted.
"That... wasn’t just Agility..." Archer added from afar as well. "He — knew exactly where each Arrow would land and when... Can he see into the future?"
Rin couldn’t believe what she was hearing.
However, if those words were unbelievable, then what she saw next was even more ridiculous.
As the dust clouds settled, and blue fire lit up the atmosphere, they saw Venom standing perfectly harmless as if not one arrow had hit him.
To dodge a few arrows would’ve been fine...
To dodge a few arrows and deflect one or two would’ve been fine as well...
For not even one arrow to lend on this massive creature... Wasn’t it just too much for even a Heroic Spirit?!
Narrowing her eyes, Saber rushed toward Berserker once again.
Now that she knew just having an extre speed wouldn’t be enough, there was only one thing left to try out.
Left and right, Saber and Venom exchanged blows, each attack pushing them off.
Suddenly, a storm raged around Saber as she raised her sword high, leaving her chest open.
Even Venom, backed by Advanced Observation Haki, failed to see into the future as Saber’s Mana covered for her movents. In a long arc, taking advantage of her wide stance, he hacked, the tip of his sword leaving behind a fuming, red trail.
Saber, even so gently, pulled back, making Venom’s white eyes widen.
Then, just as the massive sword landed on the earth, creating a boom, she planted her foot on it and pinned it down.
"Got him!" Rin cried, amazed by Saber’s move.
As if ti had stagnated, Saber’s hands blurred, her sword going for Berserker’s head.
Head...
Head...
There was no head...
Saber hadn’t even blinked, but at so point in ti, Berserker had lost his head, getting replaced by a massive, black sword.
Slowly, she looked down and found her foot planted on Venom’s head, his eyes looking up at her.
"... You know what..." Venom’s tongue slithered out, licking Saber’s boots. "... I can get used to this blueness..."
