Now reading: Chapter 937: Coincidental Disaster - Stranded in Space?! from Chaos and Order - A Multiverse Fanfic, a Fantasy novel by droopyauthor.

Between Kai’s leaving the Fate Bubble and his reaching the Harry Potter Bubble, several key events happened.

To make sure that he would get to stay till the end of the Hogwarts seventh year, Kai had extended the Ti Limit of his Main Mission before his reincarnation.

Then, during the 1st Stage of the Tournant of Worth, he had used D-Mail, causing a divergence between Harry Potter and the Primordial Tower’s tilines. It had also disrupted the synchronization of ti flow that the Primordial Tower maintained between all tilines related to the Harry Potter one.

As this wasn’t the norm, the Primordial Tower had been correcting the Harry Potter tiline’s flow of ti.

This was not a gradual process.

As suddenly as the synchronization had ceased to exist because of D-Mail years ago, the mont Kai entered the Teleportation Vortex at the Fate Bubble, it returned with a snap as well.

Whether it was a coincidence or not was debatable and was a matter for another ti.

However, simultaneously, another flow of ti had corrected itself, despite it having nothing to do with Kai.

All Verse Fusions could be terd as the nascent Universes when compared to the different Bubbles of the Multiverse.

It didn’t matter if the Verse Fusion Bubble had only one tiline.

As long as it wasn’t created artificially, and had no Deep One, it ca under the direct purview of the Primordial Tower.

So, like with all Bubbles, it ca upon the Tower to synchronize its flow of ti with the rest of the Multiverse — which... took ti.

That’s why, ever since the second stage of the Tournant of Worth, Kai had been relaxing as far as the tiline of events in the Demon Slayer Verse Fusion was concerned.

Ten days in the Harry Potter world were only one day in the Verse Fusion, letting Kai not worry about an all-out war between Demon Slayers and Demons in a short ti.

That difference in flow of ti between the two tilines, too, corrected itself.

Other than these very coincidental corrections, there was nothing that could have happened within a few monts — the span of ti it needed for Kai to switch worlds.

Going from Harry Potter Bubble to Fate Bubble had taken Kai only a few monts.

This was not Kai’s Skills, but a channel fueled by the Tower itself.

So, as the Tower was involved, it also took Kai only a mont to return.

But after the correction of the tiline while switching worlds, several key events unfolded over the following days.

Betty Shaw had guessed Kai’s intention to spread rumors about him, affecting his Bounty. A storm had raged into Order’s Peak and Chaos’ Valley, resulting in loss of lives, wars, and utter destruction of cities.

Three days had already gone by in the Harry Potter tiline, the Verse Fusion tiline, and the Primordial Tower.

Yet, there was no sign of Kai.

Between Kai and Black, one of them would have definitely gone to the White Serpent Pirates Headquarters to check upon his underlings and the status of everything else... if he had arrived at the Harry Potter tiline three days ago.

Thus, the only conclusion one could make by his absence there was that...

... sothing had gone wrong while returning from the Fate tiline.

...

Three days ago,

Kai stepped inside the blue swirl of the teleportation vortex, Black returning to his Inventory.

Blue ethereal blurs surrounded him like stars rushing past him, becoming streaks of light. In only a few dozen steps, he would reach the Harry Potter tiline, despite the imasurable distance between the two Bubbles.

Kai always liked this unfathomable might.

So, he never hurried to cross the small distance, taking his sweet ti to observe it, walking casually with his hands clasped behind his back.

Crack!

Kai’s eyes narrowed.

In front of him, just before the opening, marked by a gathering of blueness, a crack had appeared. It traced the circular boundary of the channel, progressing as if the channel were a mirror.

A strange nervousness welled up in Kai’s heart, his Lucky Intuition telling him that soone from the outside had been waiting for his arrival.

With Kai’s Luck standing at 200 Points at this mont, all Lucky Intuitions were no re guesses, but bordered on truths forced upon reality.

An alarm rang in his mind, the Ad Infinitum piling buffs over buffs for him.

Becoming a golden point of light, Kai shot forward. Dozens of ters of distance... He could cross this distance with a speed that defied all laws of physics.

And, yet, he couldn’t.

The small crack near the opening fueled itself with Kai’s reaction, instantly covering the entire mouth of the teleportation channel.

Then, with a BANG, the entire space collapsed.

...

Ba-dump!

[... Rebooting system... Activating Biokinesis...]

Ba-dump!

Cold.

Frozen to the bones.

That’s how Kai felt as the Ad Infinitum rebooted, his eyes opening by a fraction.

He couldn’t see anything. Blackness surrounded him, accompanied by a numbing cold, his body consuming vast reserves of fuel.

But even if he couldn’t see anything at first, sothing happened that made him instantly recognize where he was, his eyes widening as they shot open.

Kai seed to have barely missed the opening of the teleportation channel, because he had co incredibly close to reaching his destination.

Incredibly close only on the cosmic level.

For ordinary people, this closeness was still worth millions of miles, surrounded by utter blackness and... the celestial body reflected in Kai’s hazel eyes.

It was a giant planet.

A red planet.

Mars!

Kai stared at the planet, gobsmacked, the Biokinesis adjusting his body for the space.

As the silence tried to hound his senses, he straightened himself, clenching and unclenching his fingers.

Kai looked around, but there was no sign of any enemy.

Which ant...

Either the enemy had run away after failing to kill him, or this was the exact situation the enemy had planned for!

Suddenly, the corner of Kai’s mouth arched up.

—Well-Well-Well...— he hissed to himself, shooting toward the Earth. —What are you up to now... Herpo the Foul?—
