Jian Chen was obviously aware of the nine great secret techniques left behind by the Skyscraping Sword Venerable.
The reason why the Skyscraping World could attract so many experts was definitely not due to the seed of ways alone.

The nine secret techniques happened to be one of the core legacies of the Skyscraping World.
As Shi Yingqi enthusiastically introduced the nine secret techniques to Jian Chen, the cultivators in the surroundings all opened their eyes as well. The three Immortal Monarchs stood up in a hurry, clasping their fists towards Jian Chen to greet him as his juniors.
They obviously did not know Jian Chen. Their greeting was not out of respect for Jian Chen’s background or identity but because he was an Immortal Emperor!

It was as if he had never taken Chi Yutian or his father, the Scarlet Fire Immortal Exalt, seriously.
Chi Yutian’s face imdiately sank. Anger stirred within him.
Despite the fact that he was tempted to imdiately teach this re mid Immortal Emperor junior a lesson, he also had several qualms when he recalled how the daughter of the heavenly emperor, Xing Caijian, treated Jian Chen. He also recalled the nurous rumours regarding Jian Chen on the Hall Brilliance Heaven.

Right now, their Yi Immortal City’s greatest source of confidence was his seventh brother, Chi Yun, who had entered the Courtyard of Ways as a student.
However, he also understood that perhaps that identity could elevate the status of their Yi Immortal City significantly, such that other organisations of the sa strength would look at them in great regard, but it was nowhere near the point where they could do as they pleased.
“The seventh son of the Scarlet Fire Immortal Exalt, Chi Yun, is a student of the Courtyard of Ways. Yang Yutian, with how haughty you seem, don’t tell even the Courtyard of Ways ans nothing in your eyes?”
The two great elders of the Immortal Feather sect sitting on the ground opened their eyes at the sa ti and both looked at Jian Chen. One of them spoke up aloofly with the tone of a senior lecturing a junior.
“What a joke. A student of the Courtyard of Ways is enough to represent the Courtyard of Ways in their entirety?” Jian Chen snorted in contempt. He did not hold back.
When he said that, the expressions of the cultivators present imdiately changed slightly. If he spoke to regular cultivators like that, it would not be a problem at all, but the two people here were great elders of the Immortal Feather sect. They were people of great status. Even so of the Immortal Exalts who entered the Skyscraping World had to show them so respect.
“Fellow Yang Yutian, they’re great elders of the Immortal Feather sect. They possess significant status. You shouldn’t provoke them, much less offend them…” Shi Yingqi, the person who had proactively greeted Jian Chen earlier, communicated to Jian Chen sternly, seemingly afraid that Jian Chen did not know about their identities.

Perhaps the daughter of the heavenly emperor’s good graces towards Jian Chen could make so experts have second thoughts, but that definitely did not include the Immortal Feather sect.
Sensing the anger of the two great elders, Chi Yutian on the side let out a sigh of relief. He began to wait eagerly, hoping that he could borrow the Immortal Feather sect’s strength to teach a proper lesson to Yang Yutian.
“Hmph, our Yi Immortal City can’t afford to provoke you, but you just had to provoke the Immortal Feather sect. Yang Yutian, oh Yang Yutian. Your background is impressive, but before a court of heaven, it’s nothing.” Chi Yutian rejoiced inside.
Jian Chen stared at the two of them indifferently and smiled mysteriously. “Of course, I know who you are. Aren’t you just great elders of the Immortal Feather sect?”
However, when they noticed Jian Chen’s smile, the two great elders imdiately shivered inside. A chill ran down their spines. They could sense trendous danger.
“You and I have no grievances, but who can help the fact that you’re great elders of the Immortal Feather sect? Since you are from the Immortal Feather sect, then the two of you must die today!” Jian Chen’s voice imdiately beca icy-cold. As soon as he said that, the Heaven-lifting sword appeared in his hand.
Everyone in the surroundings was dumbstruck. Shi Yingqi from the Sword Sect of Star Pointing subconsciously rubbed his ears. He thought he was hallucinating.
Chi Yutian’s eyes narrowed. He beca dazed. His thought process halted.
The two great elders from the Immortal Feather sect were stunned as well, almost failing to respond.
In the vast Immortals’ World, just how many people had the courage to oppose a court of heaven?
Even if there really were people bold enough to look down on the courts of heaven, they definitely did not have the courage to publicly kill great elders of the Immortal Feather sect.
That was because great elders were no longer regular people. They were already regarded as true mbers of the upper echelon of courts of heaven. They held great authority and influence. Any deaths of great elders would be bound to stir up a storm.
Across the Immortals’ World, apart from a handful of peak organisations and experts, no one could bear the wrath of a court of heaven.
However, before the two great elders could think much of it, a streak of light had already swept over. The sword Qi perated the air, imdiately enveloping the two of them.
Jian Chen had already struck. He swung the Heaven-lifting sword, and the pressure of a high quality god artifact filled the surroundings. The chilling killing intent made everyone feel like they had been plunged into a cavern of ice.
