At this mont, the surroundings sank into an eerie silence. The old servant who was in the middle of breaking through remained on the ground with one knee. The admiration and fervency in his eyes did not decrease at all as he waited for Daowei Chengqing to grant him the technique.

The two other servants stood by Daowei Chengqing, looking at the person breaking through enviously.

A minute later, Daowei Chengqing said calmly, “I am unable to grant you the technique right now.”
When they heard that, the three old servants were all startled. They were extrely surprised and taken aback. In particular, the old servant who was breaking through beca filled with so dread and a deep sense of uneasiness.
“Master, h-have I disappointed you in any way?” the servant said fearfully. It was difficult to imagine that for soone who had reached such a terrifying cultivation, a supre expert who could summon clouds and rain with a flick of his wrist, revered by all, would actually be so unsettled.
“My mories from back then still have not completely awakened. So of it is still missing, which is why I cannot grant you the technique right now!” Daowei Chengqing said sternly.
When he heard that, the old servant’s expression changed drastically. Blood imdiately drained from his face.
The two other servants also gulped. Their hearts imdiately sank.
“Why do you need to grant you the technique? Tell in detail,” Daowei Chengqing asked.
“Master, when you first erged from the Hole of Reincarnation, you passed on a profound cultivation thod to us all and granted us a special item. Over the years, the reason why our cultivation has grown so rapidly is not just due to the profound cultivation thod that you granted us, master, but also because of that special item.”
“The growth in our cultivation and comprehension is directly connected to that item. Without that item, even if we continued arduously practising the cultivation thod that you granted us, we would have never reached our current cultivation in such a short amount of ti.”
The two servants by Daowei Chengqing’s side began explaining to him. When they ntioned the special item, their eyes shone with a strange light.
“Our cultivation and comprehension is entirely built off that special item. By relying on that item to increase our strength, it actually cos with many restrictions. Every ti our strength increases, we need a corresponding technique to remove the various seals on that item, o-or…”
The servant faltered. His face only beca paler.
“Or what?” Daowei Chengqing furrowed his brows deeply.
“Or we will face a backlash from the special item and be dood,” one of the old servants said glumly.
The servant in the middle of the breakthrough said with difficulty, “In the past, you only gave us a part of the secret technique before you reincarnated. The technique was enough for us to reach the Seventh Heavenly Layer of Immortal Exalt, but we don’t have the secret technique for the Eighth Heavenly Layer.”
Reaching there, his body began to shake. His voice also began to falter. “M-m-master, I-I can’t keep it suppressed for much longer.”
The two other servants’ faces changed drastically. If he could not keep it suppressed and he reached the Eighth Heavenly Layer, then it would be certain death. No one could save him.
Suddenly, one of them rembered sothing. His eyes suddenly lit up, and he said, “Oh right. Master, you did say in the past that once our cultivation loses control and is about to break through to the Eighth Heavenly Layer, only the Dominion’s Brush and the Book of the Populace can resolve this issue apart from the secret technique that you grant to us.”
“Master, do you still rember saying this in the past?” The two servants looked at Daowei Chengqing hopefully.
Daowei Chengqing shook his head and said blankly, “I don’t rember it at all. Did I really say that back then?”
“Master, you don’t have to worry. I’m certain that as your strength increases, those mories will return to you. There will be a day when you rember everything from the past.” The servant comforted him.
Daowei Chengqing waved his hand and said, “Right now is not the ti to discuss my mories. Since the Dominion’s Brush and the Book of the Populace can resolve this problem, let’s deal with your issue first.” With a flip of his hand, a tablet from the Heavenly Palace of Great Radiance imdiately appeared in Daowei Chengqing’s hand. He channelled his energy into the tablet. Glyphs of ways imdiately appeared.
On the Wondrous Success Heaven, a sovereign god artifact divine hall stood quietly in the forbidden zone in the depths of the Heavenly Palace of Great Radiance. From ti to ti, it would flash with violet lightning.
The elder princess of the Heavenly Palace of Great Radiance levitated in the air with her legs crossed inside the divine hall. She radiated with a terrifying presence. Even amongst other Ninth Heavenly Layer Immortal Exalts, very few could match her presence.

In the next mont, the master of the Heavenly Palace of Great Radiance, Fang Yuyun, appeared quietly. He bore a resplendent and confident smile. He said amicably, “Jing’er, you’ve finally erged. Have you benefitted from your secluded cultivation this ti?”
“Oh right, do you still rember the Sword Sect of Yang Soul, Jing’er? The ancestor of the Sword Sect of Yang Soul, the Heavenloss Master, is currently at our Heavenly Palace of Great Radiance as a guest. He said he had sothing important to report to you. He’s already spent many years waiting here for you.”
“Jing’er, do you think you have the ti to et with the Heavenloss Master?”
Despite facing his daughter, Fang Yuyun’s manner of speech and behaviour was still rather reserved, afraid to cause any offence.
“Father, tell him to go back. I have no ti,” Fang Jing said relaxedly. She obviously knew who the Heavenloss Master was. In the past, he was an existence that the Heavenly Palace of Great Radiance could only look up to. As a matter of fact, if he had paid a visit to the Heavenly Palace of Great Radiance, they would welco him with the highest honour.

Fang Jing took a step and vanished, having left the Wondrous Success Heaven and arrived in the vast outer space. Afterwards, she tread through space, traversing worlds at a ti, making her way to Daowei Chengqing’s location extrely quickly.
