So, she reminded him, "First, crack the eggs into a bowl and whisk them. Heat so oil and scramble the eggs, then set them aside. Next, cook the tomatoes until they’re mostly soft, and then add the scrambled eggs back in."
"Okay."
For the next ten minutes or so, Lu Fan didn’t disturb Jiang Yixia.
Instead, he busied himself with his cooking.
Jiang Yixia was also attending to her custors; thankfully, Lu Fan’s little interruption hadn’t affected business.
Only after the last two custors bought a bouquet and left the shop did she finally breathe a sigh of relief.
Then, she peeked at her phone screen out of the corner of her eye.
She saw Lu Fan, focused on his cooking.
That damn handso profile of his was still lethal.
The sight made Jiang Yixia’s heart pound in her chest.
Once she composed herself, she imdiately turned her head away so Lu Fan wouldn’t notice.
But the continuous sounds of cooking from the phone kept Jiang Yixia’s curiosity piqued.
Finally, gritting her teeth, she walked over and ended the video call.
A mont later, Lu Fan was about to ask her for the next step when he realized the video call had ended.

Lu Fan shook his head with a smile. "That’s alright, I’m not hungry yet. Besides, I want to see how my daughter reacts to a al I made with my own hands. Even if it’s terrible, I have to humbly accept her verdict."
Hearing this, Old Luo was pleased. "If the Young Miss knew how much thought you put into this, I’m sure she would be very touched."
"If these two dishes are terrible, all that ’being touched’ will turn into her roasting ," Lu Fan said with a self-deprecating smile. "But I don’t mind. Praise or complaints, as long as it’s my daughter’s honest feedback, I’m happy to hear it."
With that, he took the container and walked out of the back kitchen.
Chen He was already waiting at the door.
He moved to take the bag with the container, but Lu Fan motioned for him to just open the car door, indicating that he would carry it himself.
And just like that, the car zipped away from the manor.
Old Luo stood at the entrance, watching the car drive away. He sighed emotionally, "It’s been so many years... I haven’t seen the boss this happy in a long ti. It’s like he’s a whole new person."

Just as they were talking, a knock ca at the door.
Lu Fan walked in, smiling. "You must be hungry. Co on, try the tomato and scrambled eggs and the sweet and sour pork I made with my own two hands."
Jiang Silu was surprised. "You... How did you know these were my favorite dishes?"
"I asked your mother," Lu Fan said, looking smug. "Your dad never goes into a battle unprepared. Co on, have a taste."
As he spoke, he opened the container for Jiang Silu to try.
Stunned, Jiang Silu looked at the dishes before her and gave them a sniff.
It certainly looked and slled the part.
The only question was how it tasted.
So, she picked up her chopsticks, grabbed a piece of sweet and sour pork, and put it in her mouth.
Lu Fan was a little nervous.
Even a top-tier tycoon with a trillion-dollar fortune had to wait anxiously for his daughter’s verdict.
He was terrified she would say it was disgusting.
Fortunately, that didn’t happen.
