Although Mr. Lin didn’t know who Jiali was, he still spoke in a grave tone. "Ma’am, my wife and I are apologizing to Jiang Tongxue. What does this have to do with you?"

"I am Sifan’s lawyer. His case has been fully entrusted to . Let make this clear: my client will absolutely not forgive your son, nor will he be writing any letter of forgiveness. If you want to kneel, you can stay right here and do it."

Then, Jiali turned to the dorm manager. "Sir, you’re the dorm manager. When sothing like this happens, aren’t you going to report it?"

The dorm manager, who had been enjoying the show, was stunned. ’How did I get dragged into this?’

He imdiately snapped out of it and explained, "Yes, yes, I’ll report it to the security office right away."

At the sa ti, Jiang Sifan’s counselor arrived.

He ran over in a panic, asking, "What’s wrong? What’s going on?"

Gao Lao imdiately ran to his side and whispered a few words in his ear.

The counselor understood imdiately. He hurried over to Jiang Sifan, gave him a nod, and then turned to Mr. and Mrs. Lin. "Sir, ma’am, what you’re doing isn’t right. If there’s an issue, you can report it to the police. A school is a place for learning. Causing a scene like this disrupts the peace of the entire campus."

"How are we causing a scene? We’re begging Jiang Tongxue to forgive our son," Mrs. Lin explained defensively.

She then turned back to Jiang Sifan. "Jiang Tongxue, I’m begging you, please forgive my son. He really knows he was wrong."

As she spoke, she grit her teeth and actually knelt down, starting to kowtow.

Jiali knew that business people like them would do anything to achieve their goals.

Never mind kneeling and kowtowing; they’d probably even call you ’Dad’ to your face if they had to.

So Jiali simply started to lead Jiang Sifan and Wen Wan away.

Seeing them about to leave, Mr. Lin imdiately moved to block their path.

Just then, people from the security office arrived.

Seeing his chance, the counselor quickly said, "These two parents have been causing a disturbance at the school gate. Please escort them out."

The security officers imdiately blocked Mr. and Mrs. Lin, gesturing for them to leave.

Mr. and Mrs. Lin watched Jiang Sifan and the others walk further and further away, realizing their efforts were likely for nothing.

At this, Mrs. Lin’s deanor flipped to fury. "What’s the rush? You think I want to be here? If it weren’t for my son’s sentencing, I wouldn’t have bothered coming to this place! What kind of crappy school is this anyway? My son just made one little mistake, and you expelled him?!"

Then she turned on Mr. Lin. "I told you not to let our son choose this school, but you just had to insist. Now look!"

"What’s the point of bringing that up now?" Mr. Lin had given up all pretense.

He glanced at the surrounding students, waved his arm dismissively, and roared, "What are you looking at? Get lost!"

With the advantage of numbers and being on their ho turf, Gao Lao and the others started jeering. "What’s with the tough act? You weren’t so high and mighty when you were kneeling just now, were you?"

Mr. Lin was furious. He pointed a finger at Gao Lao and snarled, "You say one more word, and I’ll beat the shit out of you."

Gao Lao stood up straight, looking down on Mr. Lin. "Go ahead. Try it."

The security officers quickly issued a warning. "You need to leave right now! Or I’m calling the police."

Left with no other choice, Mr. and Mrs. Lin finally left in a rage.

anwhile, with Jiali’s help, Jiang Sifan and his friends made it off campus.

Seeing Jiang Sifan so quiet, Wen Wan asked with so concern, "Class President, were you scared by all that?"

Jiang Sifan laughed. "Scared? Why would I be? I’m perfectly fine."

"Then why were you so quiet just now?" Wen Wan asked in a small voice.

Jiang Sifan replied, "I was just thinking... if it weren’t for my dad, would I have ended up in a detention center for fighting? And would my mom have had to beg for soone’s forgiveness just like that?"

Hearing this, Jiali’s heart skipped a beat. ’I can’t believe the Young Master is thinking about the Boss’s good side at a ti like this.’

She seized the opportunity to ask, "Oh? What do you an by that?"

Jiang Sifan didn’t really want to tell Jiali about his private affairs, but after thinking about how much she’d helped him, he decided she wasn’t an outsider. "Actually," he finally said, "the two tis I got into trouble with the police and ca out unscathed, it was largely because of my dad’s help. Of course, I know I can’t just say that stuff out loud, or it could cause him trouble. But I trust you, Sister Jiali. You’re not an outsider. You’re a great benefactor to and Wen Wan."

"It’s just that my dad and I don’t have a very good relationship. Actually, it’s not that it’s bad, it’s that we don’t have one at all. I only found out I even had a father like him a little over a month ago."

As Jiang Sifan said this, he was clearly a little dejected.

Jiali took the opportunity to say, "That’s okay. You’re an adult now with your own ability to think independently. If you feel the benefits of getting along with your father far outweigh the alternative of never speaking to him again, then you could try reaching out more."

Jiang Sifan thought about Jiali’s words for a mont.

But in the end, he just waved his hand. "Forget it. I don’t want to talk about him anymore. Oh, right, Sister Jiali, I wanted to tell you sothing. We’ve already secured partnerships with fourteen stores, all thanks to your help."

"That’s mainly due to your own hard work," Jiali said, testing the waters.

Sure enough, Jiang Sifan’s pride swelled imdiately. "Haha, to be honest, I’m starting to think this whole entrepreneurship thing isn’t so difficult after all."

Jiali seized on this. "No, no. You’ve just managed to catch a good opportunity. The path of entrepreneurship is never smooth sailing. You must always maintain a sense of crisis and be prepared for danger even in tis of safety, understand?"
