Just as Lu Fan was chatting with Jiang Silu, Teacher Chen noticed him.

She imdiately walked over and asked cautiously, "Silu, this is..."

Hearing this, Jiang Silu faltered, stumbling over her words.

She had wanted to introduce him to Teacher Chen as her father.

But Lu Fan took the initiative. "Hello, Teacher Chen. My surna is Lu. Elder ng asked to co and show you into the garden."

"Oh, wonderful! Thank you so much." Teacher Chen looked at Lu Fan. He was handso, charismatic, and had a calm and steady deanor.

He instantly checked all her boxes.

She imdiately made a welcoming gesture. "In that case, Mr. Lu, after you."

"Alright."

Lu Fan nodded and led the group into Spring Glow Garden.

Chen He had already opened the main gate and was waiting by the entrance.

Teacher Chen organized the students behind her, repeatedly emphasizing before they entered, "Everyone, you must be quiet. This opportunity to enter Spring Glow Garden is truly rare. We absolutely cannot disrupt the tranquility of this place."

The students all nodded in agreent.

"We know, teacher."

"Don’t worry, teacher. We’ll be on our best behavior."

"Wow, I can’t wait to go inside!"

Even Teacher Chen was very excited.

After all, only those in the know truly understood the wonders hidden within Spring Glow Garden.

She then walked up to Lu Fan and said politely, "Mr. Lu, we’ll be in your care then."

"Alright. Everyone, let’s go in." Lu Fan then led the students into Spring Glow Garden.

Jiang Silu also walked in, her heart filled with anticipation.

The mont they stepped through the carved wooden gate, the clamor of the street outside instantly vanished.

As they entered the garden, the first thing they saw was the exceptionally open scenery to the east.

The rockery before them looked like a real mountain, a mix of yellow stones and porous Taihu rocks blended together in a remarkably natural way.

The most striking feature was the six-ter-tall Zuiyun Peak. It was narrow at the top and wide at the bottom, its winding holes perfectly framing the pine trees, lawn, and andering stream behind it.

Although Jiang Silu had seen many pictures of gardens online, the feeling of stepping into a real Jiangnan Garden estate was overwhelmingly powerful.

As he led the group, Lu Fan would occasionally glance back at Jiang Silu.

Taking advantage of a mont when everyone was looking around, he raised his eyebrows at Jiang Silu and whispered, "You’d better listen carefully to the teacher later. Then you can be a little teacher and teach ."

Hearing this, Jiang Silu’s face imdiately turned red. "I... I don’t know how to teach..."

"It’s fine. Just take your ti and learn. After you’re done, just combine it with your own thoughts and tell about it," Lu Fan chuckled.

After hearing him out, Jiang Silu could only nod.

’Truthfully, she was quite excited about the idea of teaching her father.’

Just then, Lu Yao shouted, "Silu, co look at this!~"

Jiang Silu followed the voice, making her way deeper into the garden along the path.

The lake in the center of the garden suddenly opened up, taking up nearly a third of the grounds. The water was clear, and a gentle breeze sent small ripples across its surface.

"This isn’t a garden, it’s a living landscape painting!" Lu Yao couldn’t help but exclaim, quickly pulling out her phone to take pictures.

anwhile, Song Miaomiao had stopped in front of Zuiyun Peak. She traced the delicate holes in the rock with her hand, muttering, "This is incredible. How can a rock have so many holes and not collapse?"

"You guys, look at that bridge and the pagoda in the distance!"

Soone shouted, pointing at the gateway to the Loquat Garden. Everyone hurried over to look.

Wow. The North Temple Pagoda, over a kiloter away, was perfectly frad by the gateway, making it seem like a part of the garden’s scenery—the centerpiece of a painted scroll.

Teacher Chen reminded them, "This is what our textbooks call ’borrowed scenery’."

Jiang Silu never imagined that she would see the gardening terms she had morized in class co to life right before her eyes. It felt like a dream colliding with reality.

Lu Fan, anwhile, watched the group of young students from a short distance away.

Chen He remarked with emotion, "These students are all so full of youthful energy."

"Weren’t you the sa way back then?" Lu Fan laughed.

Chen He sighed. "The past is the past. I’m old now."

"Who are you calling old in front of ?" Lu Fan retorted.

Just then, he noticed Jiang Silu had walked over to a small pavilion by the lake.

Jiang Silu discovered that the pavilion was shaped like a fan. It could only seat one person. Looking up, she saw a plaque inscribed with the words, "With whom shall I sit? The clear wind, the bright moon, and I."

Sunlight stread in through the fan-shaped windows, and the shadows on the ground swayed with the breeze, making it hard to tell if this was a dream or reality.

So he waved, gesturing to Jiang Silu.

When Jiang Silu saw Lu Fan waving, she was a bit puzzled at first.

Then she saw him take out a DSLR cara, wanting to take a picture of his daughter.

It was only then that Jiang Silu understood.

She shook her head shyly, trying to duck away from the lens.

But she couldn’t resist Lu Fan’s encouragent. "You look great! Quick, quick, let take one."

Having no choice, Jiang Silu returned to the pavilion, her face flushed.

She didn’t usually take many pictures. Even when she was out having fun, she was always the one taking photos for her friends.

In her own words: "I’m not very photogenic and don’t like being in pictures. I’d rather take them for you~"

’But in reality, what woman doesn’t love having her picture taken?’

It was just that, having grown up in a single-parent household, Jiang Silu was still a bit timid and withdrawn in social situations.
