Sophia’s POV
Ever since Alpha Joseph started seeing that Ava girl, he completely forgot about , never contacting again. What’s worse, he actually decided to date her. It’s utterly ridiculous! How could so nobody wolfless Oga deserve to be with a powerful Alpha like him?
I’ve always been so open with him. We’ve been sleeping together for ages, but no matter what I did, he never wanted a relationship with . He always said it was just sex, that he would never commit to anyone.
Then suddenly he appears with this girl out of nowhere and starts dating her. I’ve known Joseph for so long, how dare so Oga swoop in and steal my man?
I needed to solve this problem quickly. I absolutely couldn’t hand Alpha Joseph over to soone else. He’s mine! I’m destined to be the Luna of Nightbane Pack, the rightful mate to this gorgeous Alpha! If that annoying Ella could hook Alpha Draven by getting pregnant, I could certainly win Alpha Joseph.
Unfortunately, pregnancy wasn’t an option because Alpha Joseph had always been extrely careful. He never had unprotected sex with , even when drunk. So I had to find another way.
Running into his father at the social club was pure luck. Alpha Steward’s a despicable playboy with a terrible relationship with his son, but he was my only ally in that family. Luna Hedi and Flora showed no sympathy.
When Alpha Steward told Ava was coming onto him, I didn’t believe it. I know him too well. He pursues won relentlessly and has a disgusting habit of getting handsy instead of properly courting them. He’s a pretentious fool, but I had to tolerate him.
I knew he would make a move on her, and I could use that. So I took the photo and sent it to Joseph. Anyone seeing that picture would have questions. The girl was backed against a wall, fists clenched, face turned away while Alpha Steward kissed her neck.
But Joseph’s anger toward his father runs so deep that with just a little guidance, he wouldn’t notice these details. He’d feel fury and disappointnt instead. And I would be there to comfort him, more attentive than ever. It worked like a charm!
He completely bought into my story, falling into my arms every ti I showed up. He even started calling to et . The best part was at his place. He’d never brought ho before, so I surprised him, and he couldn’t resist.
But the best part was when Ava showed up and caught wearing only his shirt, hearing him call "sexy."
He kicked out afterward, but I know he’ll co back to soon enough. Now it’s over! I’m putting this whole thing to bed. I’m certain that Oga will soon be history, and Alpha Joseph will be completely mine. I’ll be his Luna, ruling over the Nightbane Pack!
I was sitting having breakfast, relishing my victory when Alpha Steward called and invited to lunch at his hotel. He wanted to talk, so I imdiately agreed.
"Sophia, darling! Thank you for eting ," Alpha Steward said.
"Oh, Alpha Steward! It’s my honor to have lunch with you," I replied excitedly.
"Sweetheart, I called because I wanted to know how things are going with my son," Alpha Steward was truly trying to help .
"Well, Alpha Steward. Joseph is deeply in love with . We’ve been seeing each other frequently."
"That’s excellent, Sophia. You know, I saw Joseph and gave him a little extra encouragent to be with you." Alpha Steward smiled at , making giddy with excitent. "Though I think you should be more focused, don’t give him ti to think about anyone else."
"I understand, but I think we can relax a bit. Yesterday I was at his place, and Ava suddenly showed up and caught us, if you know what I an," I explained to Alpha Steward.
"Really?! Fantastic! They’re truly over." Alpha Steward raised his glass, gesturing for to join in a toast. "But Sophia, don’t ease up, keep his attention on you. By the way, could you get Ava’s phone number?"
"And what am I supposed to do?" I asked.
"That’s up to you, but don’t forget I helped you."
"I’ll do my best, but I can’t make any promises."
Leaving the hotel, I was still figuring out how to get that phone number. What really bothered was what made that Oga so alluring to n. At the social club, she’d caught many glances, and their whole group caused quite a stir. I even saw my dad admiring them, calling them beautiful. How ridiculous!
However, I was now heading to the spa to relax and make myself beautiful for my man. Tonight, I would go find him.
"You finally have ti for your friends," Ella complained when we t at the spa. She always liked being the center of attention, but since getting pregnant with Alpha Draven’s pup, she’d beco increasingly annoying.
"Well, I need to take care of myself too, right? You’ve found your mate, now I need to find mine," I replied.
"Did Alpha Joseph really break up with that Oga?" Vanessa asked.
"Of course he would. Especially after what happened. He’s eating out of my hand now," I answered confidently.
"But what exactly happened? I know nothing about this," Ella imdiately inquired.
"Of course not, you’re too busy thinking about Alpha Draven!" I complained, pouting. "You know Joseph’s father is in town, right?" I asked excitedly.
"I know, Dad told ," Ella answered.
"I ran into him at the social club a few days ago. He said I was his dream daughter-in-law and promised to help with Joseph. Those fools were there too. When Ava went to the bathroom, he followed her. I hid, watched him grab her, and snapped a picture." I proudly showed them the photo and my ssage to Joseph.
"Girl, you can clearly see he’s forcing himself on her," Ella tried to burst my bubble.
"But Joseph doesn’t see it that way!" I said triumphantly. "Since then, we’ve t up so many tis, like, really often."
"So he broke up with her and is with you now?" Vanessa asked.
"If they weren’t broken up before, she’d certainly break up with him now." I told the girls everything. We all laughed, thinking what fools that little group was.
"Now you just need to catch Beta Ryan, Vanessa. Throw that hot dog away already," Ella encouraged Vanessa.
"Oh, friend, that’s going to be difficult, he doesn’t give any chance at all. But I’ll be like you two and co up with a brilliant plan," Vanessa replied, making us laugh hard.
I ran into Joseph’s sister as I was leaving the spa. I don’t like her, but I had to deal with her, right? So I cheerfully approached to greet her.
"Heyyy! How are you?"
"It’s Flora, Sophia," she said, stepping aside to let pass, such a moody woman!
"Co on, Flora, we’re family, we should be closer." I grabbed her arm, but she pulled away, frowning.
"Sophia, I’m sorry to say, but you and I are just acquaintances, and that’s all we’ll ever be," Flora said with an air of superiority. "However, since I’m older and more experienced, let give you so advice: stop thinking about my brother, he has a girlfriend now, thank God, and it’s not you."
"Oh, Flora, I think you’re mistaken. Joseph is with . You can ask him."
"Sophia, I’m in a hurry, and I have more important things to do than listen to your nonsense." That annoying woman turned and left the spa. I shrugged; she’d always been a pain.
Now I was off to chase my sweetheart! Just as Alpha Steward said, I wouldn’t give that Oga any chance to fight back. And it worked. I found Joseph at his usual bar, alone, and took him to a motel. When he got distracted by a ssage and forgot to lock his phone, I quickly snagged Ava’s number for Alpha Steward.
"Ah, I’m just so lucky!" I said to myself.
