Now reading: Chapter 466: The Red-haired Monster from Checking in for 100,000 Years, a Eastern novel by Yi Chenxi.

"Everyone, be careful. Sothing’s off with Suibai," Su Wanyi said, her face grave.

Everyone nodded, bracing themselves defensively.

Although they were no match for Suibai, they would not just sit idle if he initiated an attack.

Mu Qing slowly moved, standing side by side with Big Black Cat at the front.

Her small face was pale, radiating a resolve to face death.

BOOM! BOOM!

Suibai strode towards them, intensifying the horror in their hearts. His crazed eyes seed to want to exterminate all life in the world.

Ye Yun watched all this calmly. This Suibai’s ntal state isn’t good, and he’s currently in a frenzy. If Suibai attacks, I’ll suppress him imdiately and make him disappear forever, he thought.

When Suibai was only ten feet away, he suddenly stopped. His gaze pierced through Big Black Cat and Mu Qing, finally resting on Luo Li. From Luo Li, his gaze shifted to Jun Moxiao and Su Wanyi.

Suibai’s eyes were hazy; it seed his chaotic will had montarily gained so control. He trembled continuously, his aura fluctuating wildly, giving an impression of extre instability.

Watching Suibai’s erratic state, everyone was shocked and terrified. They had no idea when he might suddenly strike. The power gap between them and Suibai was too vast. Even if Big Black Cat had the Emperor Artifact Walking Boots, he couldn’t escape.

At this mont, everyone’s hearts teetered on the edge of despair.

"ROAR!"

Suibai suddenly roared at the sky, shook his head violently, then turned and plunged into the black mist, disappearing.

Watching Suibai vanish so abruptly, they felt as if they were waking from a vivid dream, the scene before them seeming unreal.

"Has Suibai really gone?" Big Black Cat mumbled to himself. Then, rembering sothing, he quickly turned to Cat Bao’er.

In the black fog, Divine Sense couldn’t probe very far, but Cat Bao’er’s Sky Spirit Realm could sense much further.

"Did Suibai leave?" Big Black Cat asked.

"Suibai is gone. There’s no trace of him around here," Cat Bao’er said solemnly, a hint of surprised relief in her voice.

PHEW!

Everyone breathed a long sigh of relief, feeling as if a great burden had been lifted. The terrifying Suibai was finally gone. They had been so close to disaster just monts ago. Everyone had brushed with death at the Ghost Gate Pass and had luckily returned.

"This Suibai, his mind isn’t completely gone. He didn’t go totally berserk at the critical mont!" Big Black Cat grumbled, wiping sweat from his forehead.

"Yeah, having such a powerful, bizarre humanoid creature in the Nether Immortal Ancient Land is truly outrageous," Jun Moxiao added, venting his frustration.

Everyone nodded in agreent.

"Actually... this Suibai wasn’t all bad. At least he led us to three Divine Longevity Trees, and we got five Divine Elent Longevity Fruits for free," Luo Li said with a slight smile.

"Indeed, Sect Master," Big Black Cat sighed. "But Suibai has run off now, and I fear he won’t return. From now on, we’ll have to find the Divine Elent Longevity Fruits ourselves."

He had originally thought that under Suibai’s guidance, they could sweep across the entire Nether Immortal Ancient Land. However, Suibai’s ntal instability had led to his sudden departure, shattering that dream.

"After such a long journey, Mu Qing and Cat Bao’er have accumulated a lot of toxins from the mist. We need to find a Heavenly chanism Tower as soon as possible to purge the poison before we continue," Luo Li said quickly, glancing at Cat Bao’er behind her and noticing her darkening complexion. This isn’t good, she thought.

Everyone nodded in agreent.

Cat Bao’er held the Heavenly Spirit Mirror, continuously watching for any changes on its surface. Suddenly, her expression shifted drastically.

"There are so many Suibais!" she scread.

Her cry terrified everyone. So many Suibais? they thought, aghast. One Suibai was already frightening enough; how could multiple Suibais suddenly appear?

A flash of light, and Mu Qing suddenly appeared beside Cat Bao’er, looking at the Heavenly Spirit Mirror. In it, she saw tall, hairy humanoid creatures slowly surrounding them.

"These are not Suibais!" Mu Qing stated confidently.

"Then what are they?" Big Black Cat had also moved to Cat Bao’er’s side, staring intently at the Heavenly Spirit Mirror.

"These are Red-haired Monsters. They’re also humanoid creatures. It’s said that these Red-haired Monsters start appearing after the twentieth Heavenly chanism Tower," Mu Qing explained seriously.

"So, it’s a group of Red-haired Monsters. They do look a bit like Suibai..." Big Black Cat breathed a sigh of relief, feeling considerably more relaxed. As long as it’s not Suibai, he thought.

Luo Li asked, "What is the strength level of these Red-haired Monsters?"

"They are mainly at the Nirvana Realm, with quite a few at the Destiny Realm. Sect Master, we must be very careful. If we want to return to a Heavenly chanism Tower now, we’ll have to fight our way out of this encirclent," Mu Qing stated urgently.

"Alright!" Luo Li drew her Supre Golden Dragon Sword, her expression hardening with a chill.

Jun Moxiao and Su Wanyi both looked solemn, preparing for battle.

This ti, Big Black Cat didn’t boast but instead pulled out a Black Shield. This was a precious item Big Black Horse had given him. Back in the Nine Soul Underground Palace, this Black Shield had helped him resolve many troubles.

"I rember a legend, though I don’t know if it’s true. These Red-haired Monsters are said to be transford from dead Cultivators," Mu Qing suddenly added.

What? All dead Cultivators?

Everyone was shocked once more.

"The claws and fangs of these Red-haired Monsters contain a strange toxin. If they even lightly scratch your skin, the toxin will surge into your body. If a Heavenly chanism Tower isn’t found within a day, the toxin can never be removed, and the afflicted person will go mad..." Mu Qing continued.

"These Red-haired Monsters are indeed terrifying. Little Black Cat, please take extra care of Cat Bao’er," Luo Li quickly instructed.

Big Black Cat grinned. "Sect Master, don’t worry. Cat Bao’er and I worked together quite well in the Nine Soul Underground Palace."

"They’re here!" Cat Bao’er scread again.

The black fog churned. Large, burly shadows appeared all around them. As the figures drew closer, their true forms were revealed.

Each Red-haired Monster was about as tall as Suibai, covered in long red hair interspersed with a small amount of black hair. Their eyes were a dark, blood-red color. In the fog, their eyes glowed with a crimson light, creating an exceptionally eerie atmosphere. Their sharp claws and large fangs glinted with a red luster, seemingly laced with the potent poison Mu Qing had described.

"Kill!" Luo Li shouted, taking a deep breath. She transford into a Divine Dragon Phantom and was the first to charge.

Her opponent was a Red-haired Monster at the Fifth Level of Nirvana Realm. Beside this monster was another Red-haired Monster at the Destiny Realm.

SWISH!

Mu Qing, becoming one with her sword, shot directly towards the Destiny Realm Red-haired Monster to engage it.

The others also rallied, following Luo Li’s direction, and charged towards the Red-haired Monsters. If we want to break through, we must concentrate our attack on one point, they knew.
