「Silver Moon City.」

At this mont, inside the newly decorated City Lord’s Mansion, lights and decorations were everywhere. Colorful ribbons fluttered in the air, and the atmosphere was joyous. People were coming and going; the scene bustled with activity.

Most of the people who arrived at the City Lord’s Mansion gathered in the main square. In the center, a high stage had been set up for martial arts competitions. Surrounding it were viewing stands of various sizes, all filled with guests, the crowd overflowing.

Inside the largest viewing stand, three powerful Shapers were seated prominently in the center. In the very middle sat a robust, middle-aged man with a heavy beard and a rather fierce appearance. Although he looked fierce, his face was wreathed in smiles.

He was the City Lord of Silver Moon City—Xiong Yinghao. The City Lord’s Mansion was so lively today because of the upcoming Tri-elent Martial eting.

The Tri-elent Martial eting was held every three years. In previous years, Xiong Yinghao’s mood had been indifferent. This ti, however, he was the most excited. His son, Xiong Chumo, had been preselected as an inner disciple by the Qitian Sword Sect. Therefore, in this Tri-elent Martial eting, his son was the true protagonist.

Although the selections were preset, the Tri-elent Martial eting’s proceedings would still go on as usual. On his left and right sat the Clan Leaders of the Ouyang Family and the Dongfang Family, respectively. Ouyang Xiu of the Ouyang Family, at the Origin Sea Realm sixth layer, had also been preselected to join the Chaos Elent Sword Sect. Dongfang Jade of the Dongfang Family, at the Origin Sea Realm fifth layer, had been preselected for the Qingyun Sect.

In recent years, Silver Moon City had seen a surge of talented individuals, producing an unprecedented three preselection quotas. The Tri-elent Martial eting determined the Heavenly Yuan, Earthly Yuan, and Human Yuan positions. His son, Xiong Chumo, was considered to hold the Heavenly Yuan position. Ouyang Xiu was considered to hold the Earthly Yuan position, and Dongfang Jade the Human Yuan position.

Previous Tri-elent Martial etings had always involved fierce competition before the top three spots could be decided. This ti, however, the three major sects had already predetermined the placents. Therefore, the three Yuan positions already had their designated individuals. Everything was tacitly understood.

Whether it was the Xiong Family, the Ouyang Family, or the Dongfang Family, everyone was well aware of the situation, and no one would expose it. Today’s Tri-elent Martial eting was still lively because the other families in Silver Moon City, as well as the surrounding forces, were still unaware of this news.

Just as the Tri-elent Martial eting was about to comnce, a black carriage slowly drove into Silver Moon City.

The Big Black Cat lay lazily on the carriage and sighed, "I haven’t been to Silver Moon City for quite so years. It’s still the sa old place, no changes..."

The Big Black Horse turned its head and gave it a harsh glare.

"Uncle Ma, I was being too talkative," the Big Black Cat said, flustered. "I’m just a cat now; I shouldn’t run my mouth like that." It hurriedly swatted its own cat face with its paw.

Before entering the city, the Big Black Horse had warned it that this place had many eyes and ears, so it should speak as little as possible. The mont the Big Black Cat entered the city, it forgot this instruction.

At this mont, Su Wanyi, who was also on the carriage, watched the Big Black Cat punish itself. She couldn’t help but smile gently and said, "Senior Cat, you don’t have to punish yourself like this."

The Big Black Cat dared not speak. It shook its head vigorously and then sent a Divine Thought, "Miss, you must not call Senior Cat. Just call Little Cat from now on," it transmitted in a panicked tone.

"Senior Cat, you are older than I am and have saved my life. We mustn’t disregard the proper courtesies," Su Wanyi said softly, with a light laugh.

The Big Black Cat kept shaking its head, stubbornly refusing. "Miss, if you call Senior, how could I possibly face the Sect Leader? How about this: you can call Little Black. Don’t worry, this cat face of mine is plenty thick-skinned!"

Su Wanyi was speechless but had no choice but to shake her head and laugh bitterly.

After the Big Black Horse entered the city, it seed to know the way, making nurous turns before arriving in front of a tall building.

Su Wanyi looked up to see a lofty, grand, vermilion gate adorned with lights and festoons. Many people were coming and going, making it extrely lively. A large golden plaque hung above the gate, bearing the three large words "City Lord’s Mansion."

"The Tri-elent Martial eting is being held here. Su Wanyi, you should go participate!"

Just as Su Wanyi was feeling puzzled, the voice of her Ancestor suddenly rang out beside her ear.

What is the Tri-elent Martial eting? Su Wanyi was full of doubts. But since her Ancestor had given an order, she dared not disobey.

Su Wanyi quickly alighted from the carriage and headed towards the gate of the City Lord’s Mansion.

Ye Yun opened his eyes, watched Su Wanyi’s retreating figure, and said gently, "Little Cat, you go with her."

"Certainly, Master," the Big Black Cat replied, delighted. It imdiately leaped from the carriage, transford into a streak of black light, and landed on Su Wanyi’s shoulder.

It now appeared palm-sized, its two black, gem-like eyes darting around. Perched on Su Wanyi’s shoulder, it looked exceedingly cute. Rembering the Big Black Horse’s instructions, the Big Black Cat imdiately suppressed its cultivation base. Now, it looked no different from an ordinary little kitten.

The Big Black Cat even specifically sent a telepathic ssage to the Big Black Horse, "Uncle Ma, how do I look?"

"Acceptable..." the Big Black Horse transmitted back, baring its teeth. "Rember, you are only there to ensure the Young Miss’s safety. You must remain low-key and absolutely cannot steal her spotlight!"

Su Wanyi felt sothing land on her shoulder. Looking down, she was surprised to see it was the Big Black Cat.

Before Su Wanyi could speak, the Big Black Cat grinned and sent a telepathic ssage, "Young Miss, you don’t need to say anything. The Master asked to accompany you."

Su Wanyi nodded slightly, her heart ward, and she was moved beyond asure.

Her Ancestor must be worried about , to have the Big Black Cat stay by my side for protection.

As Su Wanyi appeared outside the City Lord’s Mansion, her glittering golden Daoist robe imdiately attracted everyone’s attention. Her figure was graceful. With a red treasured sword strapped to her back, she exuded a heroic and valiant aura. Her beauty was so devastatingly captivating that words could hardly describe it.

A young girl in green, also with a treasured sword on her back, quickly caught up with Su Wanyi and asked with a smile, "Elder Sister, are you also here to participate in the Tri-elent Martial eting?"

"Yes!" Su Wanyi nodded.

This girl in green was about fifteen or sixteen years old, roughly the sa age as Luo Li. However, her cultivation base was quite high, already at the Origin Sea Realm Second Layer. She had a chubby, apple-shaped face, large, watery eyes, and long eyelashes, making her look extrely cute.

"That’s wonderful, Elder Sister! I’m also here for the Tri-elent Martial eting!" the girl in green said with a smile.

"Perfect. Let’s go together," Su Wanyi smiled. The two of them then walked into the City Lord’s Mansion side by side.

Upon entering the City Lord’s Mansion, Su Wanyi surveyed her surroundings, pondering her next move. Just then, she heard the girl in green beside her say with a laugh, "Elder Sister, judging by your appearance, this must be your first ti attending the Tri-elent Martial eting, right?"

Su Wanyi nodded.

Her Ancestor had brought her here, and now she was inside the City Lord’s Mansion. She was still completely bewildered and had not the slightest understanding of this so-called Tri-elent Martial eting.

The girl in green smiled, her eyes twinkling rrily as she explained, "The Tri-elent Martial eting is a martial gathering held every three years by all the forces around Silver Moon City. Anyone under twenty years of age with a cultivation base in the Origin Sea Realm can participate. The top three in the Martial eting represent the Heavenly Yuan, Earthly Yuan, and Human Yuan. These three individuals will not only receive rewards from the City Lord but will also be noticed by powerful sects and recruited as inner disciples."

Listening to the green-clad girl’s explanation, Su Wanyi nodded. She now had so understanding of this Tri-elent Martial eting.

BOOM!

Not far away, a loud noise suddenly erupted, followed by a chorus of enthusiastic cheers from the surrounding crowd. The girl in green looked towards the commotion, her face lighting up with excitent. Tugging at Su Wanyi’s sleeve, she laughed, "Elder Sister, there’s a Power-asuring stone over there! Let’s hurry and test our strength!"
