「Seven-Star Mound.」
Ye Yun had heard about the renowned Seven-Star Mound while he was seeking the Dragon Pattern Soul-Chasing Sword in the Divine Land. The mysterious Seven-Star Mound had seemingly only appeared once there before vanishing without a trace. To Ye Yun’s surprise, the Seven-Star Mound had also erged into the world in the previous era. Furthermore, this Ti River had flowed past seven Star Tombs, which appeared to be companion phenona to the Seven-Star Mound. Such a powerful Ti River had astounded the Primordial Thousands of Tribes of that ti, eventually sparking a war amongst them for its control. That battle was definitely and exceptionally brutal.
The Lunar Tapir was born within the Ti River; I wonder if it has any correlation with the Seven-Star Mound? Ye Yun pondered while looking at the Lunar Tapir, unsure of his next move.
He hesitated, wondering whether he should continue probing the Lunar Tapir’s mories. However, Ye Yun was also worried that if the Lunar Tapir self-destructed and died, all living beings in the Changhe Immortal Palace might perish along with it. He was unwilling to take this risk.
"How much do you know about the events of the previous era?" Ye Yun asked.
"Senior, during the great war for the Ti River, my physical body and Soul were gravely damaged. I lost many of my mories and don’t recall much..." the Lunar Tapir replied with a helpless sigh.
"Were you present when the Ti River appeared alongside the Seven-Star Mound?" Ye Yun inquired.
"I was there. I was rather weak at that ti, but my cultivation speed was very fast. Plus, initially, the Primordial Thousands of Tribes had no intention of fighting over the Ti River, so I had plenty of ti to improve my cultivation base..." the Lunar Tapir said.
"I understand..." Ye Yun said. Hearing this, a general picture ford in his mind. The mysterious Seven-Star Mound seems to be an inauspicious object. Perhaps the Seven-Star Mound was the main culprit behind the fall of the previous era.
Looking at the Lunar Tapir, Ye Yun suddenly asked in a deep voice, "Does your legacy inheritance include any Seven-star formation?"
"A Seven-star formation?" The Lunar Tapir was sowhat baffled and shook its head repeatedly. "Senior, my inheritance consists entirely of Ti Divine Skills; there’s no Seven-star formation among them..."
"That’s good to hear!" Ye Yun nodded.
"I can spare your life, but on one condition!"
"What condition, Senior?" the Lunar Tapir asked eagerly. It had been continuously enveloped by the Unlimited Sword Light, enduring imnse pressure. If the Senior hadn’t intended to spare its life, its mind would likely have collapsed by now.
"Inside the Changhe Immortal Palace, Lu Linlang, the Wine Fairy, is my beloved confidante and one of my Dao companions. My condition is that you recognize her as your true master!" Ye Yun stated in a solemn tone.
"To recognize my own disciple as master instead of Senior... this is truly sowhat..." the Lunar Tapir said awkwardly.
"What, you disagree?" Ye Yun’s gaze turned cold, and the tide of boundless Unlimited Sword Light pressed closer to the Lunar Tapir.
"Senior, as long as I can live, I am definitely willing!" the Lunar Tapir pleaded.
"Very well, follow !" Ye Yun said. He waved his hand, and the vast Unlimited Sword Light vanished from the sky. The Heaven-Slaying Sword returned to his grasp.
Ye Yun strode over the waves, sword in hand, and entered the Changhe Immortal Palace. The Lunar Tapir dared not delay and followed him inside.
"Heavens! What exactly is that colossal black behemoth in the void?"
When the Lunar Tapir appeared, the disciples in the various Immortal Palaces were all terrified by the sight of the fearso Ferocious Beast in the void, trembling uncontrollably. Its powerful Super Divine Dragon Breath, in particular, exerted such oppressive pressure that they found it hard to breathe.
Ye Yun waved his hand. Lu Linlang and the Ruyi Jade Spider appeared in the void.
"Brother Yun, what is this?" Lu Linlang asked in shock, looking at the imnse, pitch-black Lunar Tapir.
"It’s the true form of your master, Ti Elder—a ti-elental demon beast born within the River of Ti, the Lunar Tapir!" Ye Yun replied with a smile.
"So that is Master!" Lu Linlang’s expression changed in surprise; for a mont, she was at a loss for what to do. For 100,000 years, her master had treated her quite well, taking exceptional care of her cultivation and showing no ill intent. If he hadn’t just devoured the Chess Fairy, Lu Linlang would never have believed Ti Elder could be such a vicious and cruel being.
Gazing at the Wine Fairy, the Lunar Tapir also looked extrely embarrassed, lowering its head in silence.
"Milord!" The Ruyi Jade Spider’s eyes darted around. Sensing the Lunar Tapir’s unfathomably deep cultivation base, it suddenly exclaid in shock, "This big black ox’s cultivation realm is so high! I can’t even sense it..."
Ye Yun smiled. "It’s at the God King Realm First Layer."
"Heavens, it’s a Divine King Realm expert! Such terrifying cultivation!" the Ruyi Jade Spider exclaid in amazent.
"What? Master is actually a Divine King Realm expert?" Lu Linlang was also astounded. The disciples from the other Immortal Palaces were so stunned by this revelation that they couldn’t speak. In the Changhe Immortal Palace, many had assud that the venerable Ti Elder’s cultivation base was at the Divine Sovereign Realm. Yet, no one had ever imagined that Ti Elder’s true form was actually a supre expert of the Divine King Realm. This news was simply too shocking.
"Lunar Tapir, the Wine Fairy is here. You know what you should do, don’t you?" Disregarding the crowd’s astonishnt, Ye Yun’s gaze landed on the Lunar Tapir as he spoke coolly.
"Senior, I understand!" the Lunar Tapir said in a deep voice. Its massive black body swayed, and amidst a flash of light, the Lunar Tapir transford into the likeness of Ti Elder—still the plainly dressed old man, with an air of immortal grace and otherworldly refinent.
"Mistress!" Stepping before Lu Linlang, he abruptly knelt.
Mistress? Hearing this address, Lu Linlang’s heart trembled; she nearly fainted.
"Master, this is too much for your disciple! This is absolutely not right, please, quickly rise..." Lu Linlang hurriedly reached out to help Ti Elder up. In her heart, Ti Elder was still her revered master, holding a very high status.
Seeing this, Ye Yun gave a wry smile. Lu Linlang can’t accept her own master kneeling to her. This is indeed a troubleso situation.
"I, the Lunar Tapir, have harbored treacherous intentions and committed grave sins. I implore Mistress to punish ..." Ti Elder remained kneeling, his head bowed, speaking in a hoarse voice.
Lu Linlang was speechless. She withdrew her hands, feeling helpless. Looking up at Ye Yun, she suddenly realized that this might be Brother Yun’s intention.
It’s been 100,000 years since I last saw Brother Yun. How has he beco so powerful? Even Master, a Divine King Realm expert, is no match for him... Lu Linlang thought. She had been in such shock just monts ago that her thoughts hadn’t caught up. Now, with this sudden realization, a startling truth dawned on her: the Brother Yun she knew could defeat Divine King Realm experts after only 100,000 years. Such terrifying strength was simply inconceivable!
Lu Linlang walked over, took one of Ye Yun’s hands, and said emotionally, "Brother Yun, Ti Elder saved my life. If not for him, I wouldn’t have survived these 100,000 years, and I would never have been able to see you again..."
"Hmm... you do have a point there." Looking at Lu Linlang, Ye Yun shrugged, a wry expression on his face.
Indeed, from this perspective, the Lunar Tapir was her benefactor. Without the Lunar Tapir, Lu Linlang would have perished long ago. If it was a benefactor to Lu Linlang, then... wasn’t it, in a way, a benefactor to him as well? Pondering this, Ye Yun suddenly realized his previous assessnt needed revision.
