Looking further into the distance, the terraced fields layered in green appear and disappear in the mist, so beautiful that one can’t take their eyes off them.

Just as they reached the edge of the village, Hu Zhihai and a few girls including Yan Tongtong couldn’t hold back their excitent and dashed into the bamboo grove in an instant, disappearing from view, with only their occasional screams and cheers of delight echoing back.

Jiang Yu and Jia Dequan watched all this with smiles, not in a hurry to follow, instead slowly walking step by step from behind.

"The environnt here is really great, the air is so much better than in the city."

Jia Dequan remarked as he looked at the lush green trees and colorful flowers all over the mountains,

"To be honest, compared to living in those high-rise apartnts in the city, I’d rather stay in these brick houses in the village. Besides the fresh air, staying here for a while makes you feel completely calm."

"Yeah, that’s the charm of rural scenery, naturally, the environnt is good."

Jiang Yu took several deep breaths, feeling his lungs refreshingly clear, and said,

"Living in a place like this for a few days feels comfortable, but if it goes on too long, I can’t stand it."

"Haha, indeed, especially for young people like you who have been exposed to all sorts of new things since childhood. Coming to a place like this feels novel at first."

Jia Dequan nodded in agreent, laughing as he spoke,

"But once the novelty wears off, it gets really boring. You can’t go online here, nor watch movies, nor go shopping; it’s just too dull."

"Jiang Yu, look, what is this?"

While they were talking, Hu Zhihai ran over excitedly with so mud on his face, holding up a dandelion and blowing hard at Jiang Yu, scattering the white fluff everywhere.

Jia Dequan couldn’t help but shake his head, saying disdainfully:

"This silly kid, getting so excited over picking a dandelion."

Jiang Yu laughed, "Kids raised in the city, how many of them actually know what this is? When they get to the fields, they can’t even tell garlic from green onions."

"What a joke! Never eaten pork but never seen a pig run?"

Hu Zhihai said, unwilling to back down, "Is there anything you can’t find online now? I know what a dandelion is!"

"Go join Yan Tongtong and the others, see how many fresh dandelions you can pick."

Jiang Yu, not bothering to argue with him, brushed the white fluff off himself and said with a smile,

"If you pick a lot, I’ll cook a dish for you all at noon. I can guarantee, you’ve never even heard of this dish, let alone tasted it."

"Really?"

Hu Zhihai looked skeptical, glancing at the dandelion in his hand, and asked, "Are you saying this dandelion can be eaten as a dish?"

"Of course it’s true. Dandelions in spring are a gourt gift from nature!"

Jiang Yu glanced at him, waved his hand, and said,

"If you want to eat, go pick so quickly. If not, then forget it; I’ve barely gotten a day off and I’m too lazy to move."

"Go, go!"

Upon hearing this, Hu Zhihai imdiately turned around to find Yan Tongtong and the others.

Even though he hadn’t tasted dandelion dishes before, having followed Jiang Yu for so long, how could he not know that anything Jiang Yu cooked, even wild vegetables picked from the fields, would definitely taste great!

"Dandelions are a good thing, you know. Not only can they be eaten, but they’re also dicinal!"

Watching Hu Zhihai walk away, Jia Dequan couldn’t help but laugh,

"I hadn’t thought of making a dish out of them before, but you brought it up first.

Are you planning to make a salad or stir-fry them?"
