She suddenly waved her hand, throwing off the blanket wrapped around her, and sat up from the bed with an angry expression on her face.
This damn place, I really can’t stay here any longer!
She can’t eat well, and now she can’t even sleep well. She really doesn’t know why she’s still staying here.
Zhu Yaxue got out of bed with a furious look, brushed her teeth, then grabbed a wet towel and casually wiped her face, starting to pack her things out of spite.
She had been in Jiangzhou for two days, and in those two days, she hadn’t even been able to set foot inside Jiang University, let alone taste the food cooked by Jiang Yu.
Zhu Yaxue had tried various thods. She even imitated others, standing guard at the gates of Jiang University, approaching students as they ca out, putting on a smile and saying nice things, trying to get them to pretend to be her classmates and take her inside.
So students refused, while others agreed. The ones who disagreed didn’t need ntioning, but just as the ones who agreed were about to take her inside, the guard at the gate said coldly:
"You, you, you, you can’t go in. I’ve been keeping an eye on you, hanging around the school gate for a long ti, clearly wanting to sneak into the Seventh Dining Hall to snatch food like a student. At the start, you even tried to fool us by saying you left your student ID in the dormitory!"
Then, the guard turned to the male student who wanted to take Zhu Yaxue in and said sternly,
"Are you not afraid of losing all your moral and academic points and not being able to graduate if sothing happens by bringing in soone you don’t know?
Young man, don’t lose your head just because the girl is pretty!"
The male student blushed with embarrassnt and didn’t dare say another word, slipping back into the school by himself.
That left Zhu Yaxue standing there alone, glaring at each other with the guard.
Zhu Yaxue was very frustrated. I just want to go in and taste the food at the Seventh Dining Hall, what’s wrong with that?
Do they really need to treat like an enemy?
It’s simply too much!
After that, Zhu Yaxue was even too embarrassed to approach the gates of Jiang University. After all, she was just a young girl who hadn’t been out of university for long. No matter what, she didn’t have such thick skin to keep going over there like nothing happened after being sarcastically "rebuked" by the guard a few tis.
Because of this, she had even less opportunity to get into the Jiang University campus.
Though Zhu Yaxue looks delicate and tender, like a small, charming flower that evokes pity, she’s actually quite strong-willed and stubborn. Once she decides to do sothing, she won’t stop until she achieves her goal.
Even though the trip was extrely unsuccessful and she hadn’t even been able to enter the gates of Jiang University, she still hadn’t planned to give up and wanted to stay and see if there would be another opportunity.
But who knew that this matter already made her incredibly restless, and now she couldn’t even sleep well at night.

Zhu Yaxue, on the verge of exploding, couldn’t suppress the restlessness and grievances in her heart anymore, and she utterly broke down.

She won’t ever co to this Jiang University place again in her entire life!

Quickly stuffing all her personal belongings into her backpack, Zhu Yaxue slung it over her shoulder and with a "bang" opened the door, heading straight downstairs to check out.
After checking out, she wore a grim expression, put on her sunglasses, and walked out the door, not even wanting to have breakfast at the breakfast shop in Beishan Village.
This breakfast shop, only ten square ters or so, was built in a low, shabby shed by the roadside at the entrance of the village. The hygiene was worrying, and the breakfast options were pitifully little.
Every morning, Zhu Yaxue could only eat so unpalatable mixed rice noodles, dry and hard, and so spicy they were unbearable. After just a couple of bites, her whole mouth went numb from the spiciness, and her head grew hot and sweaty.
That would be fine, but the first ti she had breakfast here, she accidentally choked, the spice burning her airways and making it painful to breathe, feeling like she wanted to die at that mont.
Besides the unbearably spicy mixed rice noodles, this small, rundown breakfast shop only had plain porridge, tea eggs, and a pitiful number of stead buns left.
Zhu Yaxue tried them all, and they didn’t compare at all to the roadside breakfast shops in Chang’an.
If Beishan Village weren’t close to several universities, she had no doubt that with this broken shop, it wouldn’t last even half a month before going out of business.
Now that she’s planning to leave, who would still eat this crap?
She’d rather buy a box of instant noodles near the high-speed rail station; it’s cleaner and tastier than breakfast here!
In fact, when she decided to leave, Zhu Yaxue had already made up her mind. Having co all this way, she couldn’t just go back to Chang’an without any materials. Wouldn’t her colleagues at the magazine laugh at her?
Moreover, as a travel and food blogger, she hadn’t written any new articles for a long ti. If she stayed inactive any longer, she feared her fans might all disappear.
So, she had already chosen her next destination, which is Tanzhou in Xiang Chu.
Tanzhou is a famous culinary hub with countless snacks, especially its stinky tofu, which is incredibly well-known. Rumor has it that it slls bad but tastes delicious, crispy on the outside, tender inside, fresh and spicy.
