"Lao Jiang, if this really works out, it’ll be like trading a musket for a cannon!"

After parting ways with Xiong Bingsheng, Hu Zhihai was so excited on the way back that he was practically dancing, his face flushed, though it was unclear if it was from excitent or the sun.

"Such a big place, we could totally open a high-end restaurant!"

"If only you had one peanut, maybe you wouldn’t drink like this?"

Before Jiang Yu could say anything, Lu Shuwu couldn’t help but mock him,

"This is a school, you know? A school. And you’re talking about a high-end restaurant. Did you even consider the kind of people that co to spend here..."

"You don’t know jack!"

Hu Zhihai imdiately jumped up, retorting,

"Our school has nearly forty thousand teachers and students. You think we can’t sustain a high-end restaurant? Are you underestimating our school?"

"Think more. Would the school even agree to a high-end restaurant?"

Lu Shuwu sneered, wrinkling his nose as he continued walking,

"Also, our store’s food tastes top-notch, but why is it priced so cheap?

Besides the school’s price restrictions, the main reason is, the boss wants more people to try his dishes.

If it were just about earning more money, wouldn’t opening a store outside be better?

With the taste of those soup dumplings the boss makes, don’t even ntion 15 yuan for a basket; even at 150 yuan per basket, they’d sell like crazy every day!"

"Alright, alright, what kind of daydreaming are you doing in broad daylight?"

Seeing them getting more ridiculous, Jiang Yu quickly waved them off, sighing,

"It’s too early to talk about this. Leaving aside whether the gym’s owner is willing to yield the space, even if they do, we can’t afford the rent for that place."

"Didn’t Teacher Xiong ntion there are support policies for university students starting businesses?"

Hu Zhihai scratched his head, looking puzzled,

"Isn’t policy support enough?"

"Even with policy support, it depends on how strong it is. It’s not just up to Teacher Xiong alone."

Jiang Yu wasn’t very knowledgeable about this and didn’t know what to say for a mont; he shook his head and said,

"Anyway, until we have confird news, let’s not think too much and focus on our current tasks."

"The boss is right!"

Lu Shuwu nodded in agreent, "Tomorrow might be better, but what we need to do is make the most of today."

Hu Zhihai couldn’t help but roll his eyes and mutter under his breath:

"Brown-noser!"

Halfway through the walk, Hu Zhihai parted ways with them.

He still had to go back to the library to continue studying, as the store now had enough staff and didn’t need his help for the ti being.

As they returned to the store, Yan Tongtong and Li Yue had already tidied up the stears and dishes. The three were sitting on small stools in a circle, chatting and laughing while picking vegetables.

Seeing Jiang Yu and Lu Shuwu return, Yan Tongtong quickly stood up, smiling warmly as she greeted them:

"Boss is back! Just now a few people ca looking for you. I told them you were out, and they left."

"Who were they?"

Jiang Yu planned to make soup dumplings but paused in his steps, curiously asking,

"Did they say what they wanted?"

"There were three of them, two young, and one older, around fifty, all n."

Yan Tongtong furrowed her brows, pondered, and added,

"They didn’t say who they were or why they were looking for you. Once they knew you weren’t here, they left.

Oh, before leaving, they said they’d co back later."

"Oh, well, we’ll deal with it when they co again."

Jiang Yu nodded, not paying it much mind.

Not even knowing who they were, he didn’t bother to guess their purpose. Wouldn’t it all be clear once they returned?

After a little more small talk with Yan Tongtong, Jiang Yu and Lu Shuwu went back to the kitchen and got busy.

...

In the blink of an eye, it was dinnerti again.

The second canteen was as bustling as ever, crowded with people.

The line in front of the "Jiang Family Soup Dumplings" shop window had beco a unique sight on the campus, leaving every newcor amazed.

"I tried these soup dumplings here once before, and when I got back, I kept craving them all the ti!"

A middle-aged man, around fifty, with so gray at his temples, used his chopsticks to pick up a soup dumpling, remarking with so emotion and a smile,

"At first, I didn’t think much of it, thinking, ’it’s just soup dumplings, how bad can they be?’

So, I thought about finding a similar-tasting one locally, at least to satisfy the craving.

Turns out, it was beyond my expectation!

I ran around half the city, tried more than a dozen places, and found that the soup dumplings there couldn’t even compare to these here; they’re practically two different things!"

This comnt made the two young n across from him burst into laughter.

"President Ma, no need to say much, but these soup dumplings are best eaten hot."

Duan Yiming chuckled and said with a smile,

"Let’s fill our stomachs first, then we’ll go see the owner of this soup dumpling shop!"

The middle-aged man across from him was none other than the President Ma from the comrcial group he had once brought to the second canteen.

Recently, Duan Yiming’s company had been working overti, and finally, managed to develop the office software the other side needed. President Ma ca over to test the software and provide feedback for revisions.

But he had another intention on this visit, which was to et the owner of the soup dumpling shop.

He wanted to see who exactly could make such delicious food.

At noon, Duan Yiming had already brought President Ma and his team over, but unfortunately, the shop was closed after lunch, and the owner had gone out, so they couldn’t et him.

Helpless, they could only co back again in the evening.

"Alright, alright! Let’s eat first. Don’t just watch, join us!"

President Ma smiled, putting the soup dumpling clamped by his chopsticks into his mouth. With a gentle bite, a surge of warm, fresh soup filled his mouth, the delicious taste making him sigh involuntarily,

"This familiar taste is really extraordinary, so fresh and flavorful!"

"The things in this little shop, whether it’s the soup dumplings or the spicy chicken, are the best I’ve ever had."

The young man next to Duan Yiming also laughed, picking up a piece of spicy chicken, and remarked while chewing,

"It’s just a pity, the shop is so small, it’s not easy for us to eat here..."

This young man’s na was Deng Linhui, around the sa age as Duan Yiming, about twenty-seven or eight, tall and slender, wearing glasses, having a bit of a scholarly appearance.

He wasn’t a colleague of Duan Yiming but the owner of another company in the high-tech entrepreneurial park, and the two had known each other for a long ti. Recently, he’d often co over to eat with Duan Yiming.

"You wish you could have this delicious food anyti you want when you’re hungry?"

Duan Yiming laughed at the idea, teasingly saying,

"Simple, just invite the owner over to our company to be the head chef!"
