Now reading: Chapter 64: Final Words from Chen Ping's Sword, a Eastern novel by Small fish.

Chen Ping ignored Han Xiaoru’s words.

In his mind, he knew that her injuries were quite severe at the mont. Her Qi and Blood were temporarily scattered, making it normal for her to be unable to resist this Soul Searching and Soul Catching Technique.

This Demonic Sound Skill, without even ntioning its na, had an effect: first, it incited emotional turmoil within a person. Secondly, it caused the Qi and Blood within a person to run chaotically.

Once Han Xiaoru lost consciousness, the strong Qi and Blood throughout her body would lose the control of willpower, running wild, leading to the inevitable worsening of her injuries.

It could even result in blood blockage, causing permanent damage to her organs.

Keeping her senses intact, although uncomfortable, there was at least a glimr of subconscious control over her body, preventing a situation as disastrous as a dam bursting.

Forcibly controlling the endless delusions and illusions in his heart, quelling the scorching blood that boiled within.

Chen Ping placed a sliver of his thoughts onto the "Spring and Autumn Silkworm" in his mind. Instantly, he felt his mind clear, as calm as still water. When he heard that hissing sound again, he was completely unaffected.

The heat in his senses vanished entirely. The strange conditions of his body and mind seed to be influenced by so unknown force, no longer affected in the slightest by the external world.

’So, this little worm can be used in this way as well.’

Chen Ping was overjoyed.

It made sense. The Spring and Autumn Silkworm didn’t appear to be so inanimate object. It had accompanied him into this world, and who knew what changes had occurred along the way.

Or perhaps, the worm’s intrinsic level was very high, and after experiencing so unique encounters, transford into sothing akin to a "Lifebound Spirit Insect". Although not fully awakened, it could passively exert so power.

While it might not be able to interfere with the outside world, it could firmly protect this ntal space of his own.

Feeling assured.

Chen Ping imdiately decided to ignore it.

No matter what cultivation technique it was, sustaining it ultimately required expenditure of energy and stamina, and might even waste Inner Force.

He was betting that the opponent’s Sound Skill wouldn’t persist in locking down this area.

Nor would it sustain continuously.

He simply kept his hand firmly over Han Xiaoru’s mouth, preventing her from accidentally making too much noise that could be heard by those outside.

And also to prevent Han Xiaoru from causing further injury to herself by moving too much.

He sat in the cave like a Bodhisattva, waiting for that continuous sound, like a snake’s hiss or the buzz of insects, to finally stop.

A full tea ti passed.

The sound finally ceased.

Chen Ping let out a long breath, sensing no further activity in the forest outside, yet he did not hurry to go outside and investigate.

It was best to stay put for now.

Under the moonlight, when he looked at Han Xiaoru again, he found the girl’s face had turned pale.

It was clear that, after sustaining severe injuries, defending against the attack of the Sound Skill had exhausted too much of her Heart and Spirit, leaving her extrely wearied.

"Listen to , you’re walking the path of Qi Blood Martial Arts. I don’t know what thod you used to train your tendons and organs to such a formidable state... However, force is ultimately just force, not yet power. Hoping to escape from the hands of that [Clear Wind Shadowless Sword] is still quite slim."

Han Xiaoru’s body, soft as a puddle of mud, was leaning weakly by Chen Ping’s ear, whispering feebly, "I’ll teach you a Condensing Force Technique, rging Bone Force, Tendon Power, the strength of the five organs, and flesh into a single force, a technique of attack and defense with Yin Yang Unity."

While she spoke, she didn’t care if Chen Ping was responding, her eyes half-closed, she recited a scripture intermittently: "...Heaven and Earth, Firm and Soft together... The four intertwined, known as a key. Two four, three five one, the essence of Heaven and Earth... Number two eight, aligning with heavenly symbols, converge in the cauldron..."

After reciting for a while, she recited it again.

"Did you rember it?"

"Yes, I’ve rembered it... I’m saying, you should rest well, Heaven does not seal off all paths. Maybe before dawn, your family might co to take us away."

Chen Ping felt that the scripture contained deep aning, but didn’t quite understand it.

It wasn’t appropriate to say that at the mont, it would be too disappointing.

Han Xiaoru seed to be leaving instructions as if leaving a last will, even soone as steely-willed as Chen Ping felt a slight hint of sadness.

"As long as you rember it, there’s no need to ponder the True Intent within. Just recite it in your heart. Recite it a hundred tis, the aning will naturally appear. Coordinate with your breathing, carefully feeling my breathing rhythm..."

As Han Xiaoru brought her mouth and nose close to Chen Ping’s ear, sotis breathing long, sotis deeply, sotis breathing mixed with light and heavy changes...

Listening, Chen Ping tried reciting the scripture in his mind, aligning it with breathing.

Strangely enough, he truly felt changes occurring within his body.

A warmth enveloped his body, as if he had returned to his past life when he was just starting school... Reluctant to get out of bed, wrapped in a cozy nest on a Sunday morning.

The warmth was like lying on clouds.

His mind drifted into a daze.

With the variation in breathing rhythm, at that mont, it was as if he forgot where his body was...

He couldn’t sense his muscles, tendons, or organs and blood; only a sphere of glowing, unidentified energy.

"Alas, if only there was more ti, perhaps ten days to half a month, maybe you could understand the profound mysteries, increasing your combat power by threefold, giving you a better chance of escaping from that [Clear Wind Shadowless Sword]."

Seeing Chen Ping enter a calm state after hearing the cultivation technique, Han Xiaoru’s gaze held a faint regret.

Just as she said this, she noticed that black streaks had appeared on Chen Ping’s skin, seemingly at so unknown mont.

"What, you’ve actually entered entry-level, with black patterns appearing, indicating Iron Body entry... You don’t seem to have particularly high Innate Talent, did I misjudge, or perhaps your Enlightennt is very strong?"

Han Xiaoru’s voice grew smaller, her breath halting intermittently, yet one could still hear the extre shock and delight in her voice.

’I don’t know what secrets lie within this body. Even though the Spring and Autumn Silkworm hasn’t displayed itself, its power seems to unnaturally increase, easily grasping Qi and Blood Techniques, as if it was innately supposed to.’

Chen Ping mused silently.

Seeing the black patterns that surfaced on his arm skin, he felt sowhat at peace.

Evidently, the cultivation technique taught by Han Xiaoru must be a secret of the Primordial Martial Arts Hall.

Or it could be the mastery of the Primordial Sword Sect, one of the Four Daoist Sects.

On the attribute panel of the [Spring and Autumn Silkworm], a line of writing quietly appeared.

"Primordial Technique: Entry."

Just like that, so simple.

"If only father had t you earlier, there wouldn’t have been anything for the third junior brother. Back then, he entered within a month, and had his Iron Body initially ford within three months, making father as happy as a child."

Han Xiaoru shook her head.

She didn’t know whether she was lanting for Chen Ping, or for her own father.

Currently, Chen Ping had reached entry-level, but forming real combat power wasn’t sothing that could be achieved overnight.

Still, it just slightly increased the chances.

I’ve done my best.

Han Xiaoru raised her head to look at the sparse branches at the cave entrance letting through the moonlight.

A faint lancholy arose in her heart.

The moon had reached the mid-sky. It was likely deep in the night.

The signal arrow firework likely wasn’t seen by her family...

She wondered if father and mother were already asleep at this ti? Had they noticed she hadn’t returned ho, would they co out to find her?

After watching for a while, Han Xiaoru ca back to her senses.

She felt even more spiritless.

Without the good dicine for Replenishing Essence and Qi, she might not last till sunrise tomorrow.

Knowing her own body, she realized how ruthless the [Clear Wind Shadowless Sword]’s attack was, with its toxic and sinister Sword Qi, it even understood the Blood-Cutting Acupoint Technique.

Her Primordial Technique cultivation wasn’t shallow, yet she still couldn’t withstand it.
