Shin's senses started to get affected by the black ink as it spread around and ford a dark fog underwater. Not only his vision was getting obstructed by this fog, but even his other senses were being influenced by the fog along with a sluggish movent.

What was left was whether his body could respond to it or not. But this would be the least of his worries given his Imdiate Response Talent, especially when it was partially promoted into an Ultra Instincts inside the ga.
With these innate traits within the ga, added to his newly acquired ability, Shin was confident that he would be able to hold his ground against this opponent.

A few monts later, Shin's Sensing Circle sensed fast movents within its range to which he responded accordingly.
He covered his body with the unique mana of the World Serpents, forming an extra layer of scales over his body. It felt like he had donned himself with an armor that was covering his entire body.
This ti, instead of just dodging the attacks from the tentacles, he was also deflecting them and changing their trajectory to collide against each other.
His movents were quite tricky as well as he was always positioning himself to the opposite side where he sent the tentacles away, which made it easier for him to focus on the attacks coming from the other side.
Along with the armor-like mana covering his body, the potent venom covering the tips of the tentacles was unable to give him any imdiate arm.
Even if Shin had to repeatedly replace the corroded part of the Mana Armor after being in contact with such a highly concentrated venom that could even lt a tal like a potent acid, the mana supply of a World Serpent was more than enough to deal with it.

But despite how powerful his punch was, Shin felt that he did not hit anything. His fist seed to have landed on a cushion that absorbed all the force behind his punch.
"Tsk!"

Shin was imdiately trapped in a cage created by these smaller tentacles while the larger ones were already making their way to crush him.
Seeing that Shin quickly adjusted his stance as he burned a huge amount of mana from his reserves.

A strong shockwave was sent in every direction as a white energy shrouded Shin's figure.
The shockwave halted the advances of the tentacles montarily while the white energy warded them off and prevented them from approaching Shin.
Supplied by the mana of a World Serpent in this vessel, Shin used a ntalism technique to create a spherical barrier that surrounded him.

The Mana that was released swirled around Shin, blocking all the tentacles that latched themselves on the spherical barrier and tried to crush it with their powerful strength.

Shin was able to quickly break off the broken cage of the tentacles, but he was still unable to pinpoint the exact location of his opponent.
He was about to try looking for the latter when another sudden attack ca to ambush him from behind.
Shin quickly dodged and avoided the tip of the sword directed at his back before retaliating with a powerful punch.
But this ti, he did not throw a regular punch reinforced with mana. He instead threw a rotating punch while a violent ripple of mana spun around his fist as it approached his target.
Since he could not just throw a physical attack, he would be throwing a devastating attack that covered a large area to prevent the opposing from appearing and disappearing as they pleased.
