But even with those powers, the healing of the wounds was noticeably slow compared to what he used to have because of the black energies that were trying to invade his body.
The demonic powers from the snakes earlier were like a venom that was trying to kill him.
On the other hand, Nuguro looked completely beaten up despite only suffering from a single attack from Shin.
His magic barrier was sliced by Shin's sword like a hot knife cutting through butter. It then slashed him, leaving a huge wound that started from his shoulder up to his waist.
Nuguro was trying to heal the grueso wound with his innate regeneration abilities alongside his healing magic and demonic powers. But the previous slash left a very potent venom on the wound, making it hard for Nuguro to heal himself.
Moreover, the venom was spreading within his body at an insane rate, damaging his organs and muscles from within.
If Nuguro did not expel this venom fast enough, then it would kill him soon or even cause his death later due to the restricted movents that he had.
But despite seeing his opponent in a weakened state, Shin did not attack and started explaining instead. "The barrier that blocked and went through that powerful attack of yours is a special technique derived from Jafaar's secret skill, the muscular World Serpent that you call weak."

Nuguro flew straight to the altar while summoning a large number of sea snakes along with giant serpents with his demonic powers while reinforcing their abilities with the help of the gemstones revolving around his left arm.

He then suddenly appeared right beside Nuguro, who was still attempting to head toward the altar to the best of his abilities, while holding the shining sword over his shoulder.

Right after he swung the sword down, a flash of light suddenly cut through Nuguro, who was still unable to believe how Shin appeared beside him.

At the sa ti, manifestations of colossal serpents appeared from the spot where Shin initially stood, which charged toward the swarm of sea snakes and giant serpents until they reached Shin.
Boom!
Then a strong current of energy swept through everything – freezing, slaughtering, and crushing those blocking its path.
