:What do you an ’da fuck?’ Did you expect sothing different?:
’Yes. Yes I fucking did? Why do you sound like so sort of hyped up teenage gangster? And one with a cute voice too? Seriously. You sound like so sort of young girl in one of those ani’s that I’ve seen the guys watching back in Texas.’ Laz kept these thoughts in the back of his mind instead of coming right out and saying it in his head. As he got stronger, he realized it was easier to control his thoughts and only let those he wanted to get through, actually get through.
:Kind of? I an... you’re suppose to be an ancient mother of these Fae, aren’t you?: Laz asked, voicing his safer thoughts.
:Ah. Ok. You’re right, but also wrong. Well, since you brought it up, let tell you sothing. This whole mother tree thing is both a blessing and a curse. I’m not the original mother tree of my children, far from it. Nothing and I an nothing lives forever. Well, if they do, it’s far beyond what’s ever existed in my mories. As for , I’ve only been alive for several thousand years, give or take. As the mother tree, just like the queen, the position is handed down. As for the mother tree before , she was the one who fought with my children which were her children back in the war with the Infernals. Actually, all of the Fae fought in that war, but not many of them were as lucky as we were. My predecessor died, but I was able to be brought about by Yggdrasill before my children died out, becoming their new mother tree. Other mbers of the Fae were wiped out completely, both their people and their spirit.:
:So then... why doesn’t Yggdrasill bring the rest back?: Laz asked, curious.
:It’s not that easy. Our people originally developed over many millennium and it takes an insane amount of energy to do so. No one really knows why certain mbers of the Fae were born, but we all know our origin. While the aboriginals guard the great Yggdrasill, the rest of the Fae survive thanks to their mother tree or maybe you could call us world trees as we all used to have our own planets. Anyway, as guilty as the origin people felt about the loss of life, they could do nothing more than what they did, helping where they could. In the end, it was Yggdrasill’s choice which people to help and which to let fade into oblivion. For my children, losing my predecessor would have ant the death of their people, but Yggdrasill gifted them . While it took a while to grow, the population of my children dwindled greatly as a result. It was only once I reached maturity that my children could again produce offspring. The reason why we are in this pocket dinsion was to give both and my children enough ti to develop. Once the ti ca, I was to open the door so that we could rejoin the Fae’s on the outside.:
:How long was that suppose to be? And how would you know?:
:Well.... one of the origin race was suppose to co in here and get us. However to prevent my children from knowing we had a way to escape and therefore opening the door too early, I was instructed to not let them know that I could release them. Hence why they think we are trapped here.:
:So... um... what if they never co?:
’They’ve already been thought one queen and the event of the war, as far as Laz could piece together, was ten thousand years ago. So why were they not allowed out yet?’
:They will. They did survive. Before I was sealed in here and despite being so newly sprouted, I was able to witness the Infernals being driven back by the remains of the Asura people and the combined armies of the omniverse. We lost so much, but in the end, we finally stopped them. The aboriginals sealed us in here as they had survived too so now we are just waiting for them to conclude we are ready!:
:How will they conclude that?:
:I don’t know. How would I?:
:Your population seems to be growing, right?:
:Yep! After so many years of decline, we finally match what we had when we ca in here.:
:And there isn’t exactly much space left since you’re kind of like a plant in a glass vase.:
:I don’t exactly like what you’re comparing to.:
:And the energy is limited so unless more cos in, your people will stagnate and not be able to advance.:
:Yeah...:
:So at so point, the population will have reached a maximum. And if your children want to get stronger then, they will have to kill soone else to gain their strength.:
:I... um....:
:And on top of that, any children born with the energy of the world in full use will be unable to cultivate their strength. So they will either have to live as ordinary creatures or find so energy from taking from soone else.:
:...:
:So in the end. Once everyone understands this fact... you could end up with either a massive internal conflict that breaks your people apart for generations or... they will have to limit the age of the elders, killing them when they get too old. Or killing those lacking talent. Or killing those who fail to reach a certain strength requirent by a certain age. Or... Well I could go on...but...:
:OK! OK! I KNOW WE’RE FUCKED. BUT I WAS TOLD WHAT I WAS TOLD AND I HAVE TO DO IT. I DON’T HAVE A CHOICE. OK?!?!?:
:You do have a choice. Open the door and let them out with after I find your attacker.:
:But... I can’t just let them out... I don’t know what it’s like out there or if they can even find our people.:
:Besides my bloodline, why did you want to et with ?:
Laz had a sneaking suspicion that sothing was off.
:I was hoping you could produce so offspring that would be stronger despite the lack of energy?:
:Is that the only reason?:
:Well... you’ve also been branded as a slave of the aboriginals so I was kind of hoping you knew where they were. But considering your level of strength, I kind of threw that thought out the window.:
:You threw that thought out the window? Does a tree say that?:
:LISTEN HERE YOU LITTLE SHIT!:
Laz’s eyes popped open as a young child, looking no more than ten years old and beautiful with golden hair and golden eyes was poking him in the chest. If Laz didn’t know any better, he would say that this girl in front of him was another daughter of Sylvia.
"How do you think my people get the traits that they do? They co from us, their mother tree. And as the mother tree of my people, of course I can manifest a corporal body. And even though I know of all things happening at all tis, sotis it’s nice to walk around and experience it in a form fitting of my children."
Laz was of course taken aback, both by her appearance and by the fact that the voice of this girl was the exact sa child like voice that he heard while connected to the massive tree.
"MOTHER!" Ivana said, seeing her appear and rushing over.
The other thing that took Laz back was that this mother of these elven like people was standing in front of him completely nude. While her form appeared short and her face seed super young, her figure was anything but, sporting a grownup’s sized chest and a ass that could make waves in a pool.
One thing to rember is that the elves, or fae as they liked to call themselves, were normally around six feet, ten inches tall with so of the taller ones being over seven feet tall. As for the one in front of Laz right now, even if she was ten thousand years old, she would only be considered a child in her own children’s eyes.
Ivana quickly wrapped a spotless cloth around the mother tree’s corporal form before backing away and bowing low.
"See this? And this? And you still have the gall to call a tree?" She said, first pointing to Ivana and then throwing off the white cloth that had been wrapped around her to show off her ’human’ form.
’HOW... THE... HELL...!!!!?’
Laz had thought he knew a thing or two, but now he understood that he knew nothing at all. This wasn’t even within the realm of what he thought was possible when he showed up here to et their ’mother.’
"Anyway," the girl took a seat on her own branch which had moved around to accommodate her small form.
"So you think I am linked to your aboriginal race?"
"That’s a mark of subservience to them, the tree design on your chest."
Laz was wearing a shirt so he didn’t understand how she knew about it. Seeing the confused look in his eye, the young naked girl laughed, her chest jiggling from the action.
"Of course. I told you I’m everywhere. In fact, all of my children had told you I’m everywhere. So how is it that you thought I wouldn’t know about you fucking my dear Sylvia for hours on end, hmm?"
’FUCK ...’
Ivana’s body ca up so fast from her low bowing that she stumbled backwards, almost falling over.
"It’s fine though. Like I said, I don’t mind one bit. Your bloodline could even cause one hell of a change in as well now that I think about it. But I would have to prepare for that. Instead, Ivana here is my most loyal servant. How about you knock her up before we go hunting for my traitorous little whelp? I can even sit here and watch if you like what you see?"
Laz really wanted to know where the calm, cool and all seeing mother figure he had wanted to et had gone and if she was coming back soon?
