Laz wasn’t trying to kill anyone which was a good thing since if he wanted to, it wouldn’t have been too hard. De’von was only at the entry level of the void palace realm and even then, it felt pretty weak which was surprising. After all, weren’t they suppose to be investigating this family for trying to replace their fae blood with sothing else? If this was the result, then there was definitely a problem with that.
As for the others, they hadn’t even made it that far. Of the three others, two were in the late stage of foundational realm while the last one was in the middle stage. While they might have been strong among the younger generation, it was nothing to Laz’s realm and strength. After all, he was in the mid palace lord realm and reaching for the late realm with a land size already at the late realm. While the thirty miles might not seem like much compared to Sylvia’s increase, there was sothing to be said about his type of energy as well.
Either way, these kids in front of him, even if they were older than him by several hundred if not thousands of years, were nothing but young chicks trying to peck at a wolf. No matter how much they tried, they weren’t going to hurt him.
As De’von’s friends were backing up, four black robed individuals appeared in the area around Laz, sealing off his movent so that he couldn’t go after De’von again.
"KILL HIM. KILL THAT WORTHLESS HUMAN!" De’von yelled, knowing who these people were and wanting to use them to extract revenge.
Looking at them, Laz had to admit they were strong. All four were at the late void palace stage with the protentional to break through the barrier at any ti.
Ivana and Maia were watching on and seeing De’von’s four protectors appear made Ivana want to step forward, but she was held back by Maia.
"Easy there. He’s not in any danger. Just watch. I’m curious to see what he does," Maia said, taking a bite of her freshly purchased candy.
"Are you sure this is the best course my... uh.. daughter?" Ivana said, correcting herself.
"They are currently in the dark while we are walking in the light. Thanks to their efforts over the years, even I know nothing about what they’ve been up to. So now is a good chance to see just what they are all about, don’t you think?"
"You seem rather trusting of the human my daughter..." Ivana pointed out, knowing that Maia was intending on leaving everything for Laz to play however he wanted to.
"Of course. While I didn’t fight in the war, my predecessor left all of her thoughts and experiences of what went on. Even though I wasn’t there, I have mories of what exactly went on and of those mories, several of them involve the Asura. I’m just curious to see if this boy got more than just their physical traits and libido," Maia said with a smile.
Ivana looked at her, thinking there was sothing wrong with what she said, but she didn’t know what it was and decided to ignore it for now.
"Well look at this. I bitch smack one prick and get four more for free. Aweso," Laz said, standing up straight and scratching his nose as though he was embarrassed.
"You shall co with us for punishnt and to make ands to the family for hurting one of their sons. Failure to comply will result in us using force," the lead protector said, his voice a mixture of tones that seed both masculine and feminine at the sa ti.
Laz was rather confused by this but also intrigued.
"Ok. Ok. First off. No. I won’t go with you cause this guy deserved it. And two... are you a guy or a girl? Or whatever. Do. You. Have. A. DICK? I think I’m getting across ok but you never know. Hey. I’m just wondering cause you lack tits, ok? But those aren’t overly important most of the ti and are pretty cheap to upgrade if needed or even get removed if needed. "
Laz didn’t have a chance to even speak more as they four dark figures attacked as one. Laz had to say he was impressed because they struck at him in four different spots from four different directions, each one of them a blow that could cripple him a late void palace realm person.
In response to that, Laz didn’t move. Mostly, he didn’t feel the need to since he wasn’t even in the void palace realm.
As such, three of the attacks landed on his body with barely more than a thumb. As for the one aid for his head, Laz just leaned it to the side like he was cracking his neck, causing the blow to miss his throat.
All four of them had ended up pulling out knives with which to deal with Laz, but even those strong blades made by the best blacksmiths in this small dinsion couldn’t leave a scratch.
"My turn," Laz said, stomping the ground hard with his right foot. The shockwave spread out from the center and knocked the four hooded figures to the ground, but only for a split second.
Still though, that’s all Laz needed.
Before they could regain their footing, Laz was standing in front of De’von again, watching the beautiful face twist from deranged glee to absolute shock.
Laz’s arm lashed out like a whip as his hand grabbed De’von by the neck and lifted his tall body up so high his feet left the ground.
Had it not been Laz holding him up, people might have thought it looked funny since Laz was a foot shorter than De’von.
"So you wanted them to kill eh? We have a saying where I co from. When you decide to kill others, you should accept that you might be killed as well. Ever hear of that?" Laz said, his voice load enough for all the innocent bystanders to head.
"Is he really going to do it?"
"He going to kill him?"
"The family won’t let that human live if he does."
"You think they are going to let him off the hook right now as it is? Tell you ain’t that stupid?"
"HEY. SHUT UP. I’m threatening here..." Laz said, obviously hearing everything that was being said around him.
"Alright. I’m a pretty forgiving guy. Since you said you wanted them to kill but they failed, I shall forgive you," Laz said, much to the disappointnt from the crowd. De’von was a well known pain in the ass to a lot of people and it would have made a lot of people happy to see him held accountable for all of his cris.
But now it seed like Laz was going to back off without even a demand, causing him to lose the respect of the crowd.
Not that he cared.
"But only after I slap you a few tis to make the lesson stick. Ready?" Laz said.
"YOU STUPID INSECT..."
Whack.
The first slap was loud enough to be heard by all and then so.
"That’s one."
Whack.
"That’s two."
Whack.
"And three. How about everyone count along with , ok?" Laz said to the flabbergasted audience.
Even Ivana couldn’t help but laugh at his playful comnt.
Just as Laz got in the motion and was going to smack him again, he felt a large burst of power well up from De’von’s body, sending Laz skidding backwards and freeing De’von from his grasp.
"I don’t care who you are anymore. Now you will die," De’von said, a fla materializing in his hand.
De’von’s power was weak, way more than it should have been for soone who was supposedly involved in a family doing research on bloodlines and how to change them. At least before.
The De’von now was raging with a fla energy that burned a dark green color as his aura soared, right up into the late stage of the void palace realm. Even more than that though, his skin took on a dark tinge that made his entire self look scary.
Upon seeing the green fla, Laz suddenly was wishing he could go over right now and kill De’von. While he wasn’t sure why, seeing that green fla made him get irrationally upset. Without even thinking about it, Laz then charged at De’von who was charging at him.
Just as it seed like they would clash, a large, circular bit of space rippled and an old man walked through it as though it were a doorway. The old man’s beard was impossibly long and white while his eyes seed mostly closed, Laz didn’t think for a mont that he was blind. The old man then walked over to a now mortified De’von and placed a strong hand on De’von’s shoulder, binding him in place. He then raised his other hand and pushed out, knocking away more space before throwing De’von through and stepping through himself.
It all happened so quickly that Laz didn’t even think about stopping it.
"FUCK." Laz yelled before turning his head to those who De’von had left behind.
"Good..."
