"@Hu Qiming, stop being so mysterious. Spill the details."

"I’ve got a patient coming in soon, hurry up and talk."

"Yeah, seriously. Everyone’s busy. We don’t have ti for you to ss around."

In the class chat, everyone was urging him on.

Hu Qiming: "Alright, alright. Since you’re all begging , I’ll tell you. Li Xu just did sothing incredible..."

He then described the entire process in great detail.

Jiang Peng: "Holy shit! Li Xu is that good?!"

Li Baojie: "(Thumbs-up GIF), Aweso."

Miaoli: "Being able to tell he smokes and drinks from the sll isn’t that surprising, but deducing he had AIDS from other details is just incredible."

Jiang Peng: "I think the most amazing part is how he figured out the patient eats feces... But you have to admit, people these days will eat anything..."

Li Xu: "(Shy emoji), You guys are giving too much credit. I just got lucky with a guess."

Miaoli: "Have you guys noticed? Li Xu seems different since we graduated."

Hu Qiming: "I’ve felt it the most. A while ago he earned Professor Gao’s favor, and now he’s diagnosing AIDS. Amazing. By the way, another patient just ca into the clinic, a child with anorexia. Li Xu is diagnosing them now."

Jiang Peng: "Pediatric anorexia? That’s a tough one to treat."

Miaoli: "The chief physician at our district’s health center just saw a pediatric anorexia patient yesterday. It’s an incredibly difficult disease to treat. Even our chief physician was at a loss."

Li Baojie: "@Li Xu, if you’re not confident, you shouldn’t take the case. Otherwise, you’ll just cause trouble for yourself and could delay the patient’s treatnt."

Hu Qiming: "He just put his phone down, but I’ll pass on your ssage."

...

Half an hour passed unhurriedly.

Song Sisi returned to the clinic carrying a bowl of thick rice porridge.

There was honey in the porridge, giving it a sweet aroma.

But as everyone looked at it, they saw that compared to top-grade rice, it was very coarse and not a bright white color.

’Could it possibly taste good?’

The thought had just crossed the minds of Ding Aiguo’s family.

Just then, Li Xu took the rice porridge and called Ding Duoduo over. "Little one, the porridge is here. Co have a taste."

"Okay."

He placed the bowl of porridge on the table and got a disposable spoon.

Ding Duoduo took the spoon, carefully scooped up a bit of porridge, and brought it to her lips.

She sniffed it gently at first, as if to check the sll, before slowly opening her mouth and taking the porridge in.

Everyone held their breath.

Ding Duoduo’s brow furrowed slightly at first—the texture of the porridge was indeed coarse, not at all like the sweet, refined rice she was used to.

But then, her expression relaxed, and she scooped up a second spoonful, then a third...

"She’s... she’s eating!" Xue i covered her mouth, tears instantly welling up in her eyes.

Ding Kaifang stared intently at his daughter’s every move, his fingers clenching unconsciously until his knuckles turned white.

Ding Aiguo’s eyes reddened, and his throat bobbed a few tis, but he couldn’t utter a single word.

The bowl of porridge was quickly emptied.

Ding Duoduo put down her spoon, looked up at Li Xu, and said softly, "...I want more."

Those three words made the eyes of the three Ding family mbers instantly turn red.

"Yes! Yes! Doctor Li, please get her another bowl!" Ding Aiguo’s voice trembled, and he almost stood up.

But Li Xu gently shook his head. "She can’t eat too much the first ti. Her stomach needs to adjust."

Ding Kaifang took a deep breath, suppressing his excitent, and asked in a hoarse voice, "Doctor Li, this rice... why is Duoduo willing to eat it?"

Li Xu had already prepared his explanation. "This isn’t ordinary rice. It’s a type of dicinal rice. I had a hard ti getting my hands on so. It contains special minerals that have a unique appeal to anorexia patients."

Ding Aiguo imdiately asked, "Where can we buy this rice? We’re willing to pay any price!"

"I acquired it by chance. You can’t buy it anywhere."

As Li Xu spoke, he took a cloth bag from a dicine cabinet. It contained over twenty pounds of brown rice that he had prepared.

He then took out a plastic bag and poured about a quarter of the rice into it.

"Take this for now. Cook a small bowl every day to let her system adjust," he instructed. "Once Duoduo gets used to it, you can gradually mix it with regular rice to help her transition back to a normal diet."

Ding Kaifang accepted the bag of rice as if it were a priceless treasure and imdiately took out his phone. "Doctor Li, how much is it? I’ll transfer the money to you!"

He had obtained the wild brown rice based on so intel.

It had cost him almost nothing.

How much he sold it for was entirely up to him.

Li Xu thought, ’The wild brown rice is limited in quantity, so I can’t sell it too cheap, but I can’t ask for an exorbitant price either.’

’A thousand yuan per pound, then.’

’Five pounds, five thousand yuan.’

To Ding Kaifang, that amount of money was nothing.

He even thought it was too little.

"Doctor Li, you cured my mother and now you’ve saved my daughter’s life. You are the benefactor of our entire family..."

He wanted to give Li Xu more money.

Li Xu politely declined.

"Alright... However, Doctor Li, if you ever run into any problems you can’t solve, please don’t hesitate to tell . Our Ding Group still has so pull in Feng City."

Ding Aiguo gave him his assurance.

Ding Kaifang also chid in, "That’s right, Doctor Li. You’re our family’s benefactor. Please don’t be a stranger."

"Thank you."

Li Xu instructed, "After she finishes this rice, if she still hasn’t adapted to normal food, co back and see ."

Ding Kaifang nodded emphatically.

The Ding Family left, and peace returned to the clinic.

When Li Xu turned around, he jumped in surprise.

Song Sisi and Hu Qiming had the exact sa expression.

Both had their mouths wide open and their eyes round as saucers.

"Are you two possessed?"

Li Xu said with a smile.

"Boss, you’re incredible."

Song Sisi said admiringly.

Hu Qiming also snapped out of it and looked Li Xu up and down several tis. "You cured it just like that?"

Then, without waiting for Li Xu to answer, he imdiately @’d everyone in the group chat.

"Classmates, sothing incredible happened! Big news!"

Jiang Peng: "What’s with you today? You’re being so dramatic."

Miaoli: "No longer constrained by the hospital, so you’re letting yourself run wild?"

Li Baojie: "See a pretty girl? Take a picture and share."

Hu Qiming typed furiously, "I’m not kidding. You guys rember how I just said Li Xu was treating a patient with pediatric anorexia?

My God, he actually cured it... well, to be precise, he got the patient with pediatric anorexia to eat a bowl of rice porridge.

That’s not even the craziest part.

The craziest part is that the patient was the granddaughter of the head of the Ding Group. You all know the Ding Group, right? One of the biggest corporations in Feng City.

The patient’s family gave Li Xu an assurance on the spot: if he ever runs into trouble, he can just go to the Ding Group..."

After Hu Qiming quickly finished typing,

the chat group fell silent.

"..."
