Unlike Ji Jue, who in less than two months of apprenticeship had relied on cheating and his sheer stubbornness to force all twelve Supre Benevolence reinforcent emblems to light up, Lou Feng had been a proper apprentice of Kong Qingyan since he was seventeen.

The advantage of formal training was that though his thods were not as flashy as street tricks, his fundantals were rock solid. He might not be able to perform absurd instant casts like Ji Jue, but he could already integrate his own understanding into the emblems, achieving special material transformations. Doing that under such pressure already qualified him as a prodigy.

Under the gravitational shackles, the White Deer emblem trembled. Unable to break free, it was completely suppressed. Origin and White Deer were fundantally opposed, like order versus chaos. When one dominated, the other could only suffer.

After a montary hesitation, the spirit matter suddenly condensed into blades that ca piercing down like a torrential rain. A sharp grinding sound echoed repeatedly. The pink shell plastered with bunny and cat stickers shattered as the scooter blocking Ji Jue’s path shuddered violently. Most of its plastic shell cracked off, and a slash ran across its midsection!

Beep beep beep!!!!

The detached horn beeped incessantly. The scooter’s complaints were unintelligible, though sohow sounded like filthy curses.

“Hah!” Lou Feng could no longer contain his laughter. Pressing the attack relentlessly, he asked, “You’re a student under Master Ye, yet is this all you’ve got?”

Ji Jue said nothing as he dodged, only letting out a helpless sigh. It was like watching a child reach for an electric switch; no matter how much you advised or tried to stop them, changing their mind was impossible.

Let’s not make enemies, sir! We have no grudge, nor feud, why are you forcing yourself into a dead end?

“Ji Jue, focus.” Ye Xian shot him a glance, clearly fed up with his slacking. “Since he ca to witness your strength, at least show a bit of your signature skill.”

“All right.”

Ji Jue nodded, casting a sympathetic look at Lou Feng’s smug face.

This ti, you’re in real trouble. Professor Ye is seriously petty. Even worse, I’m not exactly a forgiving guy myself!

His hand finally pressed down on the scooter, pouring every last bit of his spirit matter into it without holding anything back. The blaring horn erupted, rising to a deafening pitch. The screech of steel on steel rang out continuously, like a roar of fury.

Under Ji Jue’s catalysis, the materials he had swallowed were fully digested. The blessings of the Ruins flowed through the dragon-blooded engine oil, spreading through its entire body, giving its mundane iron fra a brand-new transformation.

The last bits of plastic shell and impurities peeled away from the violently changing machine, shedding the old exterior. In their place glinted stern steel, with flas spitting from the engine.

In an instant, it expanded. Breaking free from invisible shackles, it revealed its five-clawed beast form once more! Completely unlike its forr appearance, with exposed chanical structures and a half-scooter, half-beast form, there was no longer any trace of a motorcycle’s compact outline or its scattered parts. In its place stood a steel monster over three ters long that stretched its body. Its razor-sharp claws gouged deep furrows into the ground at will, and its face turned feral, wolfish, and terrifying.

“Aberrant?!” Kong Qingyan’s triumphant expression vanished instantly. Her narrow eyes widened. “Is that an aberrant compound?!”

“Is it?” Ye Xian said expressionlessly. “He made it himself. I’m not sure.”

“This doesn’t follow the rules!”

“Rules? I thought I already said that there are no restrictions on thods or tools. I never forbade your student from using matrices or alchemical products,” Ye Xian replied in a mocking tone. “What, you can’t stand it when soone else takes control of the battlefield? Then don’t bother fighting and just go ho.”

Kong Qingyan’s eyes twitched, her face darkening with anger.

Insane! Ye Xian is insane, and the students she trains are just as unhinged. From top to bottom, the people of this whole branch are nuts! She actually let an apprentice with less than a year of training create a mutant compound, and the apprentice succeeded?!

No one would believe this!

She almost wanted to rush into the arena, grab Ji Jue by the collar, and demand, Stop fighting and tell how the hell you did that!

anwhile, the situation in the arena had turned on its head completely. Choosing to unleash the scooter ant Ji Jue’s attacks could no longer be blocked. And once the Ruins’s shell enveloped the scooter, it was Lou Feng’s turn to experience the frustration of being unable to break through defenses!

The final straw, however, ca from Ji Jue’s words. “I’ll give you a drumstick if you win.”

Beep!!!!

The iron beast opened its mouth and roared, charging under the blazing sun like a streak of flowing steel. It slamd into the hardened spirit shield, its five claws tearing in succession, sparks flying. The shield quickly bore grueso marks.

“Get lost!” Lou Feng shouted, swinging his hand. Sharp spirit matter materialized and pierced forward. At his fingertip, a ring activated a secret ritual from the Entropy Path, coating the blade in dazzling, blinding fire.

The searing heat swept across the steel beast. Aside from blackening its shell, it had no effect. Not even a trace of tactile feedback from the strike could be felt.

Sothing was wrong. That feeling just now...

Lou Feng’s pupils constricted as he recalled the aura he had sensed; it was the blessing of the White Deer!

When the burning spirit blade struck again, this ti he finally saw it clearly: the spot the blade was about to hit dissolved first, scattering into shadow, and then reford imdiately after the blade passed.

It was Shadow Transformation! This damned thing converted part of its shell into shadow, completely ignoring his attack!

Bang!

The muffled sound of the shattered shield erupted. The sharp tail extended like a spear through the cracks, aiming for his head. At this critical mont, his necklace flashed again, unleashing a violent, repulsive force that sent everything intruding flying back.

The scooter shot backward. Unfortunately, a gemstone on one of Lou Feng’s rings cracked. On the back of his hand, a bruise appeared without warning. It swelled rapidly, bringing an indescribable mix of soreness, numbness, and itchiness.

The bullets hadn’t pierced his body; they had been deflected by the consumable shield on his ring, and redirected elsewhere. Only now did the delayed gunfire reach him from afar.

When he raised his head, he saw faint smoke curling from the barrel of Ji Jue’s gun.

He had fired. Just a single use had already revealed the pattern and limitations that Ji Jue had been observing. This indiscriminate repulsive effect, pushing away all threats, was likely a blessing of Origin, similar in magnitude to the earlier gravitational pull.

True, being unable to get close was troubleso, but a completely unrestricted, three-hundred-sixty-degree repulsive field ant enormous energy consumption. It couldn’t be maintained indefinitely; otherwise, there would have been no need for Ji Jue to keep fighting. The most efficient way to use it was brief; force the opponent back, create distance, then strike again.

In that fleeting instant, before the Spirit Morph shield could form again, lay a crucial opening. Just like that, after patiently waiting, Ji Jue launched a direct hit!

“Enough, Mr. Lou,” Ji Jue suggested earnestly. “Give up, it’ll make things easier for both of us.”

Honestly, he didn’t know what Lou Feng’s original strategy was. Clearly, Ji Jue hadn’t acted according to his opponent’s expectations, making most of Lou Feng’s preparation useless.

Now, with the scooter unleashing its full firepower, the situation had completely changed.

Both young n were Chosen Ones in the Resonance realm, and neither had advanced in realm. Lou Feng had a matrix, yes, but that didn’t an he had much more spirit matter than Ji Jue. The spirit shield couldn’t defend from all attacks, the repulsive field couldn’t be maintained continuously, and Ji Jue could simply wear him down. After a few more exchanges, Lou Feng would collapse without needing to be attacked.

anwhile, Ji Jue had the Skyrail system’s spirit matter reservoir behind him; it was basically a hidden energy bar several tis bigger than his own. There was simply no competition between them.

For a mont, silence reigned. Only the cries of seabirds echoed faintly amidst the gunfire.

Boom!

A deafening sound erupted. Cracks appeared beneath Lou Feng’s feet.

“Give up?” His pale face lifted, red veins shimring in his eyes. Tolerating such absurd humiliation wasn’t an option. He was furious as he said, “How dare you!”

The sound of shattering persisted. Spirit matter, shifting between solid, liquid, and gas, seemingly boiled, crackling incessantly.

When Lou Feng crushed one bead on his bracelet, the spirit matter, which had almost run dry, suddenly surged at an explosive rate!

Ji Jue’s eyes nearly popped out as he thought, Ti Sand?!

That massive bracelet, with each of its beads made from Ti Sand, was the best vessel for spirit matter. Each one contained enough to rival a high-level Chosen One’s mana vial!

Such precious material... used as a single-use consumable? Is this... what they call “the power of money?!”

And it seed there was more than that...

An overwhelming flood of spirit matter surged, weaving together under the operation of Exquisite Work, forming a violent, imposing silhouette that engulfed Lou Feng. On top of the epheral spirit matter, a faint tallic sheen began to appear.

Faint spirit circuits intertwined, and the Origin emblem reappeared, shaping a brand-new outline.

It was a full-body armor of spirit matter, covering Lou Feng from head to toe! Like bronze cast with gold accents, it was majestic and feral, its aura rising as if alive.

It was the Lou family’s secret technique, Spirit Morph: Dragon Scale Helm!

Ye Chun could no longer contain herself and asked in a high-pitched voice, “Master Kong, isn’t this cheating?”

Dragon Scale Helm was a technique only usable by Rebirth Realm Chosen Ones, surpassing the duelists’ abilities and realm!

Kong Qingyan firmly replied, “He personally made all the alchemical items, and he accumulated all the spirit matter himself. It’s simply a case of careful preparation and tily release, how is that cheating?”

Ye Chun looked at her aunt, but Ye Xian didn’t say anything, only stayed still without reacting, like a statue.

For a mont, the entire arena fell silent. Except for the distant crashing of the tide and the faint thuds of traffic outside, there was only dead stillness.

Between Lou Feng’s outstretched hands, vaporized spirit matter converged, forming two intensely hot jet-blade streams. Just by swinging them through the air, deep furrows were carved into the ground. He strode forward, closing in on Ji Jue with giant steps. Enhanced by Supre Benevolence reinforcent, he accelerated, launching himself forward!

And Ji Jue simply sighed. He had known it; this rich kid’s talk was nothing special. He was most definitely a sore loser. They had agreed on a proper, thrilling duel, yet this guy, the mont his health dropped and energy ran out, was spamming ALT 1, ALT 2 like crazy, breaking all the rules and trying to cheat!

Well, don’t bla for abandoning chivalry. You started this!

“I really didn’t want to use this move...”

He took two regretful steps back. Propelled by the White Deer’s blessing, he ignored Lou Feng, who was closing the distance between them. He stepped back until he could retreat no further, pressed against the wall.

Kong Qingyan, watching coldly, seed to realize sothing. She widened her eyes in shock, and she opened her mouth to speak, but it was already too late.

Thud-thud-thud-thud-thud!

The high-pitched hum of the water pump behind the wall intensified, like the beating of an angry heart. Ji Jue lifted his hand and clenched his fist.

Vehicle Summon!

Boom!

The massive steel construct shuddered violently, and without any warning, it rushed forward, smashing through the factory’s outer wall. Amid the swirling dust and flying bricks, it barreled straight ahead toward Lou Feng.

But the outline erging from the haze was not a fully loaded big rig speeding down the road; it was a special vehicle that had been parked by the roadside near the sewer since morning, quietly at work...

As it dragged a thick water pump pipe, it carried a monstrous water tank that made anyone who looked at it recoil, and exuded a nauseating, terrifying stench. This was the hidden trick Ji Jue had deliberately left out of tactical consideration from the very start: the ultimate evolution of the Dump Truck Attack...

The Fecal Suction Truck Attack!!!
