Now reading: Chapter 144: Rise Of Lord BoomBoom? from Chronicles of Forgotten Extra, a Action novel by CrimsonFable.

"Well, whatever. Let introduce myself."

"I'm—"

What the hell is with this dramatic pause?

Alden thought as he saw the Demon King deliberately stopping mid-sentence.

Alden just decided to ask in a polite way.

"Why the fk are you stopping mid-sentence?"

Okay… maybe not so politely.

"Did you not rember your na or sothing?"

To be fair, Alden wasn't exactly in a good mood.

Mokah had just crushed him like a bug because he was angry at Alden's dance.

So now, with another absurdly powerful figure in front of him—one who couldn't hurt him or even see his face—he decided to vent.

He decided to release all his frustration.

And according to what a wise man has said: what's a better way to release frustration than cursing soone out?

Alden was simply following that philosophy.

The Demon King didn't say anything about the provocations. He didn't care about whatever Alden was saying.

He found sothing else strange.

"Hmm, I can't really rember my na."

"Bwhahaha, do you have the mory of a goldfish?" Alden didn't stop his provocations.

"mory of a goldfish?" the Demon King repeated. "Interesting analogy. It would have been the case if I forgot everything else."

"But sohow, I rember everything else except my na. It's really strange."

"Well, anyway, humans like you called The Demon King."

Alden heard the sentence. Although he wasn't the one to overanalyze things (or was he?), he understood the hidden intention behind it.

The Demon King acted like he didn't care about his provocations and showed he was a chill guy.

But Alden wasn't fooled...

Nice try.

Even this line was a trap. If I decided to respond to anything...

The Demon King would know I was a human.

So, Alden decided to throw him off.

"What human? You dare to compare the almighty with those foul beings?" He decided to imitate a character from his favourite ani. "Unforgivable."

"Oh, so you are not a human, I see. I should've known that such foul language could only be used by dwarves," the Demon King mused.

"Wrong again, Demon King," Alden frowned. "If you should be king of anything, it should be of blindness."

"So what are you?" the Demon King pondered.

"I'm the heir of the dragon race," Alden said solemnly. "Lord BoomBoom."

If he had to brag, he was going to do it spectacularly.

Silence.

The Demon King just stared at him. For the first ti, he was dumbfounded.

Then—

"Pfff—HAHAHAHAHA!"

Laughter erupted as he couldn't control it anymore. He even wiped a tear from his eye. "Lord… BoomBoom? What the hell kind of na is that?!"

"Well, it's better than forgetting my own na at least," Alden answered arrogantly.

"I didn't know dragons had beco so arrogant," the Demon King chuckled. "They were quite peaceful when I t them last ti."

"It seems you haven't t any real dragons then."

Alden tried to channel the natural arrogance of dragons.

Sure, he didn't know what they were like in this world, but if fantasy novels taught him anything, it was that dragons were usually jerks.

So might as well be arrogant.

"Hm… now that you ntion it, I did et a dragon that acted just like you," the Demon King said, stroking his chin. "What was her na again…?"

He snapped his fingers. "Ah, yes. Mistress Bazooka."

It was Alden's turn to be dumbfounded. But he did his best not to show it on his face.

Not that the Demon King could see it.

What kind of na is that?

Yeah, so he definitely is not buying I'm a dragon.

Well, that's to be expected, as long as he wasn't an idiot.

But at least I managed to create a doubt that I am not a human.

So that's a win.

Alden wasn't going to end his drama just yet.

"I see, you know my grandma Mistress Bazooka," Alden said softly.

The Demon King froze.

Then he grinned. "So it is in your blood. As I suspected."

Was he playing along?

Or had Alden actually tricked him? Hard to tell.

"Well, anyway, why did you summon ?" Alden got to the important part.

"If you might've not noticed, I'm the First Supre, and the reason I called you here was to just chat and nothing else."

So he really is the First Supre.

Alden had already suspected that, and the Demon King just confird it.

The Demon King continued.

"Being trapped here for so long… it gets lonely. So when I sensed soone who might one day compete with for the Celestial Throne, I thought—why not say hello…"

"And that's how we are here."

He smiled faintly.

Well, that makes sense.

"So wanna tell what's the whole Celestial Throne scenario? And what is Supre?" Alden asked.

If he was here, why not get so of his questions answered?

"Strange, I thought dragons would have known that." The Demon King narrowed his eyes.

Bro is too deep in roleplay, it seems.

"Yeah, they do know, but you see I'm hiding the fact that I'm Supre, so they haven't shared the hidden knowledge with yet." Alden smoothly told a lie without blinking.

"Well, that makes sense." The Demon King smirked. "But why should I tell you?"

"I'll tell you who the second Supre is." Alden spoke again without hesitation.

"Ohh, so you do know them." The Demon King's interest peaked.

"Yep." Alden answered confidently. "They are human."

Alden didn't show any hesitation. Because for what he was going to do next, he needed confidence.

"Please share." the Demon King asked.

Alden smirked.

"After you."

"Ok, I give up, and it's not like it's that much of a secret." The Demon King spoke.

"The Celestial Throne is simple, it gives the authority to command the whole world of Eryndor."

"As for Supre, they are the candidates who hold the right to that throne."

Yeah, I know that much.

It was stated in the world announcent.

"There can only be three supres. But that doesn't an there are only three supre ability holders."

What the hell does this an?
