Capítulo 1510: Chapter 1509: News Breaks Out
Since Zhou Wenting was present, she acted as an interpreter, making things much more convenient for Ye Qiu. After introductions were made with the managent team from the Zhou Dabao Jewelry Group, Louise and her team proceeded to the pre-arranged breakfast. They would have their al before proceeding with further discussions.
Zhou Dabao Jewelry Group adhered to the highest standards, even though Louise didn’t have many people with her.
After breakfast, they began touring the design departnt of Zhou Dabao Jewelry. Aside from so pieces not yet released to the public, which weren’t shown, many other works were on display. Interactions with the designers took place, and it was evident that there was still a gap between these jewelry designs and those from high-end brands.
Louise and the managent team toured the premises, occasionally conversing, and the morning passed in this manner. By lunchti, Zhou Yuxia looked at Louise and asked, “Miss Louise, do you think there’s any potential for collaboration between us?”
As they perceived Louise to be a prominent figure in the Gauthier Consortium related to high-end fashion brands, Zhou Yuxia thought that collaboration could greatly benefit the Zhou Dabao Jewelry Group.
Louise was not yet aware of any potential collaboration.
At this point, they were just visiting to observe the current developnts in the jewelry sector within Mainland China.
Apart from Zhou Dabao, there were many notable jewelry brands based in Hong Kong, and if possible, Ye Qiu planned to show her those as well.
However, since Ye Qiu wasn’t acquainted with those jewelry companies, he could only take her to browse their stores.
By the end of the afternoon, Louise had gained a basic understanding of the jewelry companies on the Mainland and felt there was still a gap compared to Paris, especially in design.
This might be due to various differences between East and West.
Still, with so many world-class fashion brands, including jewelry, Paris’s leading status highlighted the significant discrepancies with other places.
“Miss Zhou, we might not have an opportunity to cooperate right now, but we likely will in the future, and your company’s developnt is impressive,” Louise said politely.
The lack of imdiate cooperation wasn’t a concern; future partnerships mattered more.
Zhou Yuxia found this quite positive.
Ye Qiu and Jiang Xiyue had been observing silently, but Zhou Wenting found Ye Qiu’s deanor amusing.
Clearly, everything belonged to Ye Qiu, yet he deliberately let Louise believe otherwise. Zhou Wenting couldn’t fathom what Ye Qiu was planning.
Reaching lunchti, Zhou Wenting had already arranged everything.
Compared to breakfast, lunch was more sumptuous. As they dined in the building, the prepared dishes were brought over once Ye Qiu, Louise, and the others were seated.
By midday, after finishing lunch, the tour and discussions were concluded.
During this ti, a dostic jewelry magazine had interviewed the Zhou Dabao Jewelry Group and Louise.
This held so significance for the Zhou Dabao Jewelry Group; those not in the know might think the Gauthier Consortium was interested in this jewelry group.
As Ye Qiu, Louise, and Jiang Xiyue prepared to leave, Ye Qiu offered to drive the managent team back.
The remaining ti wasn’t intended for more visits; Ye Qiu planned to take Louise on a tour around Jinling.
He also hoped Louise and Jiang Xiyue could finalize an agency agreent over the next two days.
Initially, Ye Qiu intended to grant Jiang Xiyue the Mainland agency rights for Louise’s brand but had already authorized it to a Hong Kong-based owner for one year, so he could only retrieve it next year.
As an ancient capital of six dynasties, Jinling had many attractions, and Ye Qiu planned visits with Louise, Jiang Xiyue, and Zhou Wenting.
They visited Xuanwu Lake and Zijin Mountain first, as Jin University, where Ye Qiu studied, was nearby. As they approached Xuanwu Lake, Ye Qiu remarked, “Louise, I usually study here.”
Although Louise knew Ye Qiu was still a university student, she hadn’t expected it to be this very institution. Entering Jin University’s campus, she felt the academic atmosphere was vastly different from her experience at Marseille University.
After a campus stroll, night had fallen, and ti seed to have flown by.
“Louise, you can have your managent team dine at the hotel’s Western restaurant. I won’t be picking them up.” Of course, they could find a translator and go out if they chose to.
This trip served partly as a work-related visit to understand Jinling’s situation, while also acting as a vacation, bringing them here to explore.
The main reason was that Ye Qiu, as the behind-the-scenes ntor, required them to familiarize themselves with Jinling, anticipating future expansion and potential branch offices requiring frequent visits.
“Louise, what would you like to eat?” Ye Qiu asked.
“I’d like Huaxia cuisine.” Louise felt she could enjoy Huaxia dishes whenever she wanted.
Agreeing, Ye Qiu drove towards the Qinhuai River to have dinner there, planning to later enjoy the riverside scenery.
There were many delicacies near Xuanwu Lake, and upon arrival, Ye Qiu parked outside a high-end Jiangnan restaurant.
As they entered the private dining room, Ye Qiu’s phone rang. Seeing that it was Chen Fang calling, he answered.
“Mom, what’s up?”
“Now that your friend is done with her engagents, should I co ho to cook for you all? After all, she’s a distinguished guest,” Chen Fang said.
Regardless of Ye Qiu’s relationship with Louise, both Ye Weidong and Chen Fang considered her a special guest, wanting to personally return ho to prepare dinner.
“Mom, no need to bother. Louise and I are eating out.”
Now considering her his girlfriend, Ye Qiu saw no need for formalities.
Despite thinking it sowhat inappropriate, Chen Fang relented as Ye Qiu said, “Mom, let’s leave it at that. We’ll play by the Qinhuai River after eating. Louise may only be able to stay for two days before returning to her country.”
After hanging up, Ye Qiu told Louise, “My mom offered to cook for you, but I said no.”
Zhou Wenting and Jiang Xiyue noticed Ye Weidong and Chen Fang’s regard for Louise. A touch of envy surfaced in Zhou Wenting’s heart.
While she didn’t voice it, the sentint lingered uncomfortably within her.
After the waitress presented the nu and Ye Qiu placed the order, the spread of news in Jinling was swift, proclaiming that Louise, the eldest miss of France’s Gauthier Consortium, had personally led her team to Jinling and potential collaborations with so local businesses.
This was quite astounding!
After all, the Gauthier Consortium ranked within France’s top fifty conglorates, comparable to a multi-billion company in Huaxia.
