Li Qianqian was just envious of the ladies around Ye Qiu who were all starting businesses; she wanted to try it too.

However, as for what she wanted to do or could do, Li Qianqian really didn’t know.

"I’ll give you five million, you can play however you want?"

"Really?" Li Qianqian asked urgently.

Although she was the mayor’s daughter, it was just a title. Five million was quite a lot, and hearing that Ye Qiu was giving it to her for fun, she was naturally very happy.

However, Ye Qiu looked at Liu Lingxiu beside him, who seed indifferent. She knew that Ye Qiu had already invested a lot in her parents’ supermarket business and her uncle’s education training institution, contributing millions more.

Now Liu Lingxiu just wanted to study well and see what opportunities might co after graduation.

Seeing Liu Lingxiu’s calm expression, it was obvious she was different from the other ladies.

By a little past one in the afternoon, Ye Qiu went back to the classroom and attended two classes. He didn’t listen but was reading instead.

At the end of the third class, Ye Qiu called Ling Fei.

"Ling Fei, where are you?"

"I’m just coming out," Ling Fei said on the other side.

Last night, Ye Qiu had already arranged with her, and as they hadn’t seen each other for quite so ti, she was missing him a bit.

As Ye Qiu drove out, Ling Fei, wearing a pink dress, lifted the skirt’s hem and walked over.

When she got in the car, he saw sweat dripping down her face.

"Is it very hot?"

"A little," Ling Fei said, a bit embarrassed, blushing.

She knew Ye Qiu had been in The East Ocean for over half a month, and during this ti, they hadn’t talked on the phone, yet now seeing Ye Qiu, nothing seed to have changed.

Ye Qiu drove away from there, heading toward the inner city village.

Upon arriving at the village’s basketball court, he parked the car and, with Ling Fei, walked towards Ling Zhengwei’s old house.

When they got there, they found the surroundings shielded by scaffolding and black cloth, one for dust prevention, the other for noise reduction.

From their view, everything looked fine; most of the buildings had been demolished, and by next month, they should be entirely removed and the debris cleared.

Due to the proximity and dust, Ye Qiu and Ling Fei stayed outside, watching without going closer.

"Did your dad run into any trouble?"

"No."

After the initial trouble, no one dared to cause problems anymore, and the four families nearby had taken the money and bought new houses elsewhere.

Ye Qiu and Ling Fei left there, got back in the car, and chose not to dine at the villa.

As they drove away, Ling Fei said, "It seems like my mom’s impression of my dad has improved a lot."

"Your mom said so?"

Even though Ling Zhengwei and Zhou Xiaolan divorced, Ling Fei remained close to her parents, especially Zhou Xiaolan, with whom she frequently communicated.

Ling Zhengwei sent flowers to his ex-wife twice, and now everyone in the printing factory knew. So people previously wanted to pursue Zhou Xiaolan, but knowing Ling Zhengwei was still interested in winning her back, and with his rapid promotion, no one dared to compete with him.

"That shows our plan has been quite successful, but in matters of the heart, it ultimately depends on them; you can’t force it," Ling Fei knew this too.

Before graduating high school, she naturally didn’t want her parents to divorce, but now she understands if they have no feelings left, staying together forcefully is pointless.

The key is for both parties to change.

"Also, Tiantian asked to be her tutor again. Now her grades are good enough to pass, but she said she’ll only tell you once she scores eighty."

Xia Tiantian?

Since that spring outing, Ye Qiu hadn’t seen her.

Maybe because of Li Fei, Ye Qiu felt a little guilty towards Xia Tiantian, but it wasn’t much.

Mainly, he regarded Xia Tiantian as if she were his sister.

Ye Qiu drove to a western restaurant, where they got out and went inside.

The waitress led them to a seat by the window.

They casually ordered so food, with Ling Fei doing most of the talking while Ye Qiu listened.

A little past eight at night, after finishing their al, Ye Qiu drove Ling Fei back to the teacher’s college gate.

Ling Fei got out of the car, and Ye Qiu reversed out, heading back to the Peach Blossom Source Villa Community.

During his ti in The East Ocean, Ye Qiu hadn’t cultivated or made breakthroughs for a long ti, but these days, he sensed an impending breakthrough.

After returning to the villa, he played on the computer for a while, took a bath, and then continued cultivating in his room.

He lost track of ti, but eventually, Ye Qiu felt a mist swirling in his Dantian and saw a lotus-shaped thing before opening his eyes to a booming sound.

Ye Qiu knew he had just broken through again, advancing from the Eighth Layer Early Stage of the Qi Refining to the Eighth Layer Mid-Stage.

Such a breakthrough gave him an exhilarating feeling of nostalgia; he got up to take another shower, noticed he’d just sweated a lot, but didn’t continue cultivating further.

After bathing, he returned to his room and fell into a deep sleep.

The next morning, Ye Qiu got up, washed up, and went downstairs where Ye Weidong said, "The East Ocean people and chefs from the Akino family you ntioned are here; do you want to greet them?"

"Dad, I don’t have ti."

Ye Qiu was disinterested.

However, he knew those from The East Ocean were focused, and if led to the kitchen, they might even learn by observation without teaching.

He certainly had no ti to manage these things.

After breakfast, he drove to the Jin University Campus.

Ye Qiu noticed that although things were quite good in The East Ocean, Jinling felt much more comfortable now.

After attending two classes in the classroom, Ye Qiu’s phone rang; it was Zhou Wenting calling.

In the nearly one month, Zhou Wenting had been busy with the anti-virus research laboratory. The land had been secured, located in a developnt zone of Jinling, contracted with both Jinling City and the industrial zone governnt to acquire that massive plot at the lowest industrial land price.

Now, the entire area had been designated for use by the anti-virus research lab, with another section reserved for storage in case it was needed in the future.

Zhou Wenting wanted Ye Qiu to co by and see how he envisioned setting up this world-class research lab for anti-virus drugs.

According to Zhou Wenting’s idea, it would be best to hire a world-renowned designer for the project, but knowing Ye Qiu also had design skills, she wanted him to take a look.

Ye Qiu discreetly left the classroom, went downstairs, and drove straight to the Zhou Family villa.

Zhou Wenting had resigned, working from ho these days, and had only visited the developnt zone land a few tis.
