When Ning Yun and Luo Yang had almost finished drinking, they left the bar with Martinez, heading outside to return to the hotel.

Unexpectedly, as soon as they stepped outside, Ye Qiu and the four heard gunshots, instantly sobering up the sowhat drunken Luo Yang and Ning Yun.

"Qiu, there’s gunfire, we should head back to the bar."

The four of them went back inside the bar, quickly realizing that a group of Black n rushed inside, led by a bleeding leader, startling the female bartenders.

"Where’s the back door?" a Black man grabbed a female bartender and asked.

After she pointed to the back door, the group of Black n raced towards it. Shortly after, another group of Black n arrived, also interrogating the bartender before chasing after the first group through the back door.

"Qiu, it’s really dangerous, we should leave."

Luo Yang said.

Unexpectedly, earlier that night, Ye Qiu had encountered a robber taxi driver, and now he t these gunn.

Ye Qiu and the four left the bar, naturally choosing not to intervene further.

On the way back to the four-star hotel, they noticed blood along the street, possibly remnants from the Black n’s shootout.

"Help , help !" a middle-aged man erged, screaming in English, with his skin dark enough to suggest mixed race.

He had multiple gunshot wounds, none of which were fatal.

Luo Yang and the other three didn’t dare approach, but Ye Qiu said, "You two, go help him over here."

Luo Yang and Ning Yun hurriedly supported the middle-aged man and headed back towards the hotel.

Upon reaching the hotel, Ye Qiu instructed Luo Yang and the others to take him to the hotel room, the middle-aged man had already fainted from blood loss.

Ning Yun went to fetch a sharp fruit knife, allowing Ye Qiu to begin treating the man.

For Western dicine practitioners, removing bullets isn’t difficult as long as the wounds aren’t fatal, and Ye Qiu quickly extracted three bullets from the man’s body using the fruit knife under the others’ watchful gaze, to their amazed expressions.

After returning to his hotel room, Ye Qiu washed his hands to remove the sll of blood, then laid down to rest.

When he awoke again, it was just after eight in the morning.

Last night, Miranda rested unaware that Ye Qiu and the group had gone out drinking and rescued a middle-aged man.

Ye Qiu woke up Luo Yang and the others, who were still sleepy.

With Ye Qiu’s presence, they quickly perked up.

"Qiu, the middle-aged man is still resting."

"Let him be for now, we’ll head to Chinatown for breakfast and then visit Coffee Mountain."

The five left the hotel, got into a taxi, and headed to the restaurant of the Chinese owner, Mr. Zhou, in Chinatown.

Mr. Zhou’s place didn’t serve breakfast, but Ye Qiu and the five planned to have breakfast there anyway, inviting Mr. Chen over as well.

When Mr. Chen arrived, he looked at Ye Qiu and said, "Mr. Ye, I’ve arranged etings with several officials from coffee farm departnts for you. We can visit Coffee Mountain first, then discuss pricing with them."

At this ti, it was just when Mr. Zhou usually bought groceries from the market for lunch preparation, but because Ye Qiu and the six were to have breakfast first, the kitchen started cooking early.

"Is there a car rental service around here? We want to rent two small cars for convenience."

Having encountered trouble with the thief taxi driver last night, Ye Qiu didn’t want another incident like that and needed cars for convenience.

In the Caribbean, what there is an abundance of are smuggled cars, similar to Cuba, where new second-hand rcedes and BMWs cost just a few thousand US Dollars.

Needing a rental car, Ye Qiu didn’t think it’d be a problem.

When Mr. Zhou helped connect him to soone, they quickly found two BMW cars at a rate of one hundred dollars per day, excluding fuel costs.

This wasn’t expensive for Ye Qiu, and he planned to rent them for half a month, paying a deposit of five thousand dollars.

Now that Ning Yun carried enough cash, Ye Qiu drove them to a Citibank branch in Kingston, planning to withdraw a few thousand dollars.

The absence of dostic banks here posed so inconvenience, but he had the Fuji Bank black card.

Ye Qiu and Luo Yang entered the bank, withdrew fifty thousand US Dollars at the counter using the black card, which Luo Yang and others held onto afterward.

After stepping out, they paid the deposit for the car rental and then prepared to et relevant governnt officials.

Mr. Chen guided the way as they drove towards the eastern part of Jamaica.

After a drive exceeding an hour, they reached the east side, where dense forests stretched across the blue mountains known for coffee plantations.

Arriving at a farm and going inside, Mr. Chen made a call to the contact, and soon people from the farm ca out, revealing dark-skinned individuals.

Stepping out of the car, they were greeted in broken Mandarin, quickly learning they were of Chinese descent. However, many generations of marrying local Black people had darkened their skin.

"Mr. Ye, are you from Jinling?"

"Yes, we’re from Jiangnan Province. These two are Cubans, my friends. We’re primarily here to explore coffee opportunities and aim to secure a coffee mountain for brand developnt beyond Blue Mountain Coffee."

"Excellent, Mr. Ye. Our country’s recent efforts to revitalize these farms involve renting or selling parts of them, and our largest national bank is also partnered with a Chinese in Canada."

This didn’t surprise Ye Qiu, as smaller nations would likely reduce governntal control in the future.

Continuing inside, Ye Qiu saw the farm had beautiful green mountains and waters.

The farm mainly cultivated coffee, cocoa, and so tobacco, although there was less tobacco compared to Cuba, with coffee being the main crop.

They first invited Ye Qiu and the five, along with Mr. Chen, over for tea.

The farm’s center was essentially several buildings resembling traditional Chinese architecture.

"Mr. Ye, the Blue Mountain Coffee you ntioned might soon be acquired by the East Ocean people, though they’ve leased it for years."

The Blue Mountain Coffee region actually lies in the eastern part of Jamaica in the Blue Mountain Range, near the area in the mountains. It reaches past a thousand ters’ elevation, only that specific coffee is considered Blue Mountain Coffee. Others are not.

They believed the higher the mountain, the better the coffee’s taste, thus increasing its value.
