Ye Qiu knew that Ling Fei’s parents, Ling Zhengwei and Zhou Xiaolan, were in the process of reconciling. Having these concert tickets could bring about a good result.

"I’ll take them to my dad tomorrow."

Xia Tiantian also took three tickets for the nanny and her mother.

While the nanny was preparing dinner, Xia Tiantian and Ling Fei went into the room without saying much, and Ye Qiu waited there in the living room.

When Xia Lan returned in her high heels, she saw Ye Qiu sitting there as soon as she walked in.

As Xia Lan changed out of her high heels, she asked, "How long have you been here?"

"Just when I made the phone call."

Xia Lan went back to her room to change out of her work clothes into a loose dress for ho. Sitting there with Ye Qiu, actually, up till now, Xia Tiantian didn’t know the relationship between Ye Qiu and Xia Lan, nor did she know about the connection between Ye Qiu and her father.

"So how’s the hotel?"

"Not bad, developing steadily," Xia Lan said.

Ye Qiu had never been to the Eiffel Chain Hotel, so he wasn’t aware.

However, the hotel was positioned as a mid-to-high-end brand, and with the growth of the dostic tourism industry, service sectors including hotels were doing increasingly well.

However, with the rise of hostays, there was competition for the hotel.

The managent of the Eiffel Chain Hotel suggested expanding into tourist cities, like Southern Yunnan and Sichuan in the country, but Xia Lan had yet to decide.

"Could you help look into expanding the hotel in those tourist cities in the Southwest?"

The Eiffel Chain Hotel had over 400 locations nationwide, which was quite impressive for a mid-high-tier brand. Nonetheless, there were nurous cities throughout the country, and these hundreds of locations were mainly in Jiangnan provinces, so it wasn’t entirely sufficient.

The fallout from Li Fei’s previous incident was starting to fade.

"We should probably look at market conditions first," Ye Qiu suggested.

This required data analysis and confirmation, not sothing one or two sentences could determine for certain, no matter how wise he was. Ye Qiu wasn’t even sure about the situation in the Southwest!

As Ye Qiu and Xia Lan chatted, he inadvertently caught a glimpse of the stark white skin beneath her spaghetti strap dress. As he quickly averted his gaze, Xia Lan seed to notice but wasn’t concerned.

"I ca to see Tiantian," Ye Qiu said.

"Thank you."

Xia Lan knew, if it weren’t for Ye Qiu, she really couldn’t imagine what would happen after Li Fei’s incident.

However, blaming Ye Qiu for it seed impossible, since it was others who hard Li Fei with Gu Poison.

But Ye Qiu knew those two were likely dead, which could be seen as avenging Li Fei. However, Xia Lan now had to live as a young widow, bearing much more pressure all of a sudden, when she only needed to be a housewife before.

When Xia Tiantian and Ling Fei ca out and saw Xia Lan chatting with Ye Qiu, Xia Tiantian felt sothing was odd, as if her mother and Ye Qiu were hiding a secret.

"Mom, what are you talking to Teacher Ye about?"

Xia Tiantian hugged Xia Lan, nestling into her affectionately.

"Nothing," Xia Lan replied.

Once the nanny finished preparing dinner, after eating, Ye Qiu and Xia Tiantian agreed to visit the East Sea on Saturday, as they would attend the concert on Friday night.

After Ye Qiu and Ling Fei left, Xia Tiantian told her mother, "Mom, the concert tickets that Teacher Ye brought, we’re going to see it together on Friday night."

A female star’s concert tickets?

Xia Lan genuinely wasn’t interested.

After all, she had been very busy with work, and there were plenty of docunts and contracts to review every day.

After watching so TV outside, she went for a bath and returned to her room.

The room she previously shared with Li Fei was no longer occupied; she had moved out.

Actually, she wanted to move sowhere else and buy a place for herself.

Li Fei had left, but she didn’t intentionally try to forget; however, recalling her husband made her uncomfortable.

To her, at this age, being alone is undoubtedly the most lonely and solitary.

"Thirty is like a wolf and forty is like a tiger," and she’s at that age now.

Before, with Li Fei, they could still have so intimacy occasionally.

Now she’s alone, spending each night wrestling with a solitary pillow.

After Ye Qiu and Ling Fei ca downstairs, they got into the car, drove Ling Fei back to the teachers’ college, and after she got off with the concert tickets, Ye Qiu drove back to Peach Blossom Source Villa.

Upon returning, it was just Xiaomai at ho. Xiaomai thought Ye Qiu had returned for dinner, but she didn’t see him appear.

Now seeing him return, she quickly said, "Ye Qiu, you’re back."

Xiaomai went to pour tea and wash fruits for Ye Qiu and offered him a massage while he sat there like an elder.

Now, Xiaomai seed like Ye Qiu’s maid. Watching her, Ye Qiu asked, "Xiaomai, aren’t you bored doing this? Do you want to go back to school?"

"No, no, I’m not, I play the piano at ho by myself and don’t feel bored."

If it were before, perhaps Xiaomai would have wanted to, but now she didn’t. She knew it was much better here than at the orphanage.

She’s comfortably clothed and fed, only occasionally needing to make breakfast or cook als.

Ye Qiu held Xiaomai’s hand, and she appeared shy, blushing and not daring to look at him.

At her age, even soone as innocent as her knew a little about relationships between n and won.

Seeing her deanor of willing submission, Ye Qiu said, "I’ll go shower first. Here’s the concert tickets. Tell my parents when they get back."

Ye Qiu placed four concert tickets there, almost all handed out now.

The few remaining ones, Ye Qiu took upstairs.

There were still Shen Yueru, Shen Xingru, Xiao i, and even Liu Xia and Xiao Hong, along with Zhao Ruxue and Zhao Rubing. But Zhao Ruxue and her sisters could easily obtain concert tickets if they wanted, though they might not necessarily want to attend.

Perhaps Liu Xia and Xiao Hong might still be interested.

Ye Qiu realized it had been a while since he visited Liu Xia and planned to go see her the next day.

Returning to his room, Ye Qiu spent so ti on the computer, then went for a bath, and when back, he resud his cultivation.

With many beauties around, Ye Qiu could only admire them but do nothing. Thinking back on those eighteen years in the Heavenly Court Imperial dical Bureau, Ye Qiu considered his past life incredibly wasted.

Having just broken through last night, Ye Qiu resud cultivating, quickly getting back into the state.

Early the next day, Ye Qiu awoke and went downstairs to see his father smoking a cigar again.
