The taxi driver drove towards Jinling Hospital. Upon reaching the entrance, Li Fanghua took out a hundred yuan to pay the fare, not bothering to wait for change.

Li Fanghua picked up her briefcase and led Huo Yingying into the hospital. Two n in suits driving behind them quickly took out their phones to photograph their figures.

"Kei, do you think we’re going to hit it big this ti?"

"Sure thing, but this woman has a powerful boss in Hong Kong. We can’t afford to ss with them. Let’s sell it to soone else!"

The two n discreetly snapped a few more photos before parking their car and following them into the hospital.

Once inside, they lost sight of the two won.

anwhile, at the reception desk, Li Fanghua inquired about the ENT departnt. After getting the information, Li Fanghua took Huo Yingying upstairs to register and wait in line. Thankfully, the departnt wasn’t too crowded.

The two sat in the waiting area. About thirty minutes later, a nurse in uniform ca out and asked, "Number 19, Miss Li Fanghua, who is Miss Li?"

Huo Yingying had registered under Li Fanghua’s na to avoid any troubles.

Once Li Fanghua heard the na, she hurriedly pulled Li Fanghua inside. A doctor in his forties was sitting there, observing them as they approached. Once Huo Yingying sat down, he asked, "What’s bothering you?"

"Doctor, it’s my throat. It suddenly feels hoarse when I talk."

After asking Huo Yingying to remove her mask, the attending doctor examined her throat to check for any foreign objects but found nothing unusual.

"Looks like there’s nothing wrong. Have you been eating too much spicy food?"

"No, doctor, just normal als and water."

To the attending doctor, it rely appeared to be ordinary hoarseness, which wasn’t alarming. After all, it’s quite common; even average people might experience it for a few days each month.

Particularly for those who often drink, stay up late, or eat dry foods, this could happen.

"I’ll prescribe so throat lozenges. It should clear up in a few days. Just make sure to drink plenty of water," the doctor advised.

"Doctor, is there no way for her to recover in the next two days?" Li Fanghua asked urgently.

"It’s hard to say, depends on the situation."

"My sister has a crucial speech competition coming up. What if her voice is hoarse then?" Li Fanghua pressed on.

"I can’t guarantee anything. We’ll have to see how she responds to the dication," the doctor replied, maintaining his stance.

This attending doctor practiced Western dicine. He was quite considerate; if it had been another doctor, they might have suggested a full-body examination for the commission benefits.

But since it was just a simple throat issue, with slight hoarseness, the doctor prescribed Huo Yingying’s dication and record, suggesting that should suffice.

Neither Huo Yingying nor Li Fanghua expected this outco. After exiting the consultation room, they went to the paynt counter to collect the dication, costing a few hundred yuan.

Of course, if it could cure Huo Yingying’s throat, the cost would be worthwhile.

Once Li Fanghua collected the dication, she put on masks and left with Huo Yingying.

The two suited n, having inquired about the ENT departnt at the reception, went upstairs and waited patiently. Shortly, they again caught sight of the pair and secretly snapped more photos, though only from the back. Even so, it was quite decent.

The n had already planned to sell the story of Hong Kong’s popular celebrity, Huo Yingying, visiting a gynecologist at Jinling Hospital before her concert, to dia outlets both in Mainland China and Hong Kong, expecting substantial earnings.

However, fearing Huo Yingying’s background, they knew despite the fa opportunity, it wasn’t worth the risk. They settled for making money, planning to gather more material later.

They exchanged smiles, knowing this could afford them a comfortable half-month vacation in Southeast Asia.

Watching Huo Yingying and Li Fanghua leave the hospital by taxi, the n hurried to follow discreetly.

Both returned to the Zijin Mountain Hotel, where Li Fanghua paid the taxi fare and quickly took Huo Yingying inside.

Inside the luxurious hotel suite, they opened the dication from the hospital, all aid at treating throat discomfort. Li Fanghua could understand the simplified characters.

But seeing so many prescription and over-the-counter drugs, including Western and traditional Chinese dicine, she hesitated to let Huo Yingying consu them.

What if it worsens Yingying’s throat condition?

Would they have to fly back to Hong Kong?

A flight from Jinling International Airport to Hong Kong International Airport takes only two to three hours, but the back-and-forth was exhausting, especially since Huo Yingying had been rehearsing continuously these past days.

"Aunt Li, what should I take now?"

When Huo Yingying spoke, Li Fanghua noticed her voice was still hoarse, unlike its usual clear tone.

"I don’t dare let you take these prescription and non-prescription drugs."

Li Fanghua truly didn’t know what to do.

Could the situation really be left unresolved like this?

Reluctantly, canceling the concert wasn’t an option due to the significant impact and potential compensation for losses.

If this had occurred a month ago, they could’ve canceled the concert in advance, and throat issues wouldn’t have been a concern.

Everything was happening too suddenly now.

It was already past ten in the morning, with less than two days until the concert at eight the following night.

Looking at the dication again, and at Huo Yingying, Li Fanghua realized how much better Hong Kong seed, where doctors wouldn’t cavalierly prescribe so much dication.

She wasn’t aware that the attending doctor was already quite good; in pursuit of profit, costs could easily rise to thousands, even suggesting hospital drips.

"Just take two Jinshuang Lozenges," she said, feeling more assured. She set aside the other dication, definitely not allowing them.

Right, she rembered the doctor’s advice to drink plenty of water.

Li Fanghua went to boil a pot of hot water. It was premium mineral water, not the hotel’s tap water. Boiled, cooled, then served to Yingying.

"Aunt Li, please inform the rehearsal team at the stadium that I’m resting today and won’t be going,"

Huo Yingying said after taking two Jinshuang Lozenges, and then returned to her room to continue resting.
