Liu Lingxiu leaned on Ye Qiu’s shoulder, simply enjoying this cozy world of two.
She knew that if she hadn’t t Ye Qiu, her life wouldn’t have been as good as she imagined it would be.
Around ten o’clock at night, after letting Liu Lingxiu take a bath first, Ye Qiu was sitting outside when his phone rang; it was Huo Yingying calling.
"Ye Qiu, my grandpa is already discharged and back ho. He invites you to have breakfast at our place tomorrow."
"Where?"
After Huo Yingying told him the location of the Huo Family’s luxury mansion halfway up the hill, Ye Qiu realized it wasn’t very far from here.
After hanging up the phone, Liu Lingxiu had already co out from her bath wearing a nightgown she brought along.
Ye Qiu went to take a bath and, returning to the bed in the room, he hugged Liu Lingxiu and went to sleep.
The next morning, just as Ye Qiu woke up, Huo Yingying called him, urging him to get up and head over.
"Shall I have the family chauffeur drive over to pick you up?"

Waking up Liu Lingxiu beside him, the two washed up, dressed, and ca downstairs from the hotel to hail a taxi heading towards the Huo Family’s half-hill mansion.
"Sir, are you sure you want to go to this place?" the taxi driver asked.
"I’m sure; soone nad Huo lives there."
"Then there’s no problem."
If soone from outside wants to go in, they generally can’t; even though it’s nearby, the community within has many security gates, and ordinary people in Hong Kong simply can’t get in.
There’s a big gap between the upper society and ordinary people in Hong Kong. After about forty minutes, as they went uphill and reached the first security gate, Ye Qiu confird his identity with the security guard at the gate, and the taxi driver was surprised to find they could actually drive up.
They continued almost to a place halfway up the mountain with a large iron gate. When Ye Qiu saw the character "Huo" there, he knew they’d arrived.
Getting out of the car, Ye Qiu paid the fare. The taxi driver could hardly believe this young man dressed so ordinarily ca here as a guest.
Ye Qiu and Liu Lingxiu went inside, not bringing much with them.
As they entered, they saw Huo Yingying and her grandpa, Mr. Huo, waiting for them.
"Dr. Ye, Miss Liu, good morning and welco to the Huo Family!" Mr. Huo greeted them first.
"Good morning, Mr. Huo," Ye Qiu replied.
Ye Qiu and Liu Lingxiu followed along to a pavilion in the mansion halfway up the hill, and when Ye Qiu looked out, he could see the entirety of Victoria Port.
It could be said that the view here was excellent.
Of course, it was far from the coast.
In Hong Kong, the truly wealthy, like Mr. Huo here, lived halfway up the hill or on the mountain. One reason is that being too close to the coastline makes it easy to encounter typhoons. Even though Victoria Harbour is a safe haven, being too close to the coast is definitely not safe in a typhoon.
Another reason is that the air near the coast is too humid, leading many coastal residents to suffer from rheumatism, which is largely due to this.
As such, properties by the coast aren’t expensive; however, mansions like these halfway up the hill are typically unaffordable for most people.
The main reason is the excellent Feng Shui here, offering a panoramic view, and in terms of safety, it is extrely high as well.
"My grandpa bought all this land," Huo Yingying said proudly.
Ye Qiu didn’t expect that Huo Yingying was really quite rich!
In this city where every inch of land is expensive, the fact that this whole area close to Kowloon was bought up... what else could she be but rich?

"Grandpa, the villa Ye Qiu stays in at Jinling is much larger than this," Huo Yingying said.

Of course, this luxury mansion halfway up the hill is much more expensive than Ye Qiu’s, definitely due to its location.

Ye Qiu and Liu Lingxiu followed Mr. Huo and Huo Yingying to the Huo Family’s dining room, located in a transparent glass area halfway up the hill, where they could enjoy breakfast while admiring the outside view of Victoria Harbour.
Soon, the Huo Family’s maid brought breakfast.
The breakfast consisted mainly of Western foods like milk, bread, and hot dogs, but there was also porridge.
Mr. Huo didn’t have much of an appetite, preferring to eat sothing light, like plain porridge and a little bit of greens.
"Dr. Ye, make yourself at ho," Mr. Huo said.
"Grandpa, as if he would hesitate! He treats this place just like his own ho."
Ye Qiu, who had seen all sorts of people, naturally felt at ease.
Now, he acted very naturally; if it were soone else, they might have been nervous or uncomfortable, but Mr. Huo couldn’t detect any of this in Ye Qiu.
This showed that Mr. Huo believed that his granddaughter’s claim of Ye Qiu being from an ordinary family couldn’t possibly be true.
He had t many children from ordinary families. Even those high achievers who entered his company behaved differently from those from wealthy or elite families.
There’s a certain innate temperant, which he could see in this young man Ye Qiu.
In contrast, the girl beside Ye Qiu, Liu Lingxiu, was indeed from an ordinary family, as her deanor was quite unnatural.
If Ye Qiu weren’t there, she probably wouldn’t have dared to sit down and eat.
"I heard Dr. Ye plans to travel to France?" Mr. Huo asked again.
"Just to have a look around," Ye Qiu replied simply.
