As the eldest daughter of the Gauthier Family, Louise was born with so artistic talents, and she had been exposed to art from an early age, so when she first saw these oil paintings, she was awestruck in a way that was hard to describe.

The feeling these oil paintings brought her was like they touched her soul.

Like the painting "Friday Dinner" and the "Father and Son" oil painting, Louise felt curious about the anonymous artist behind these works.

Now that Ye Qiu heard Louise ntion it, he hadn’t expected that just a display of his skills would cause such a great impact.

"Louise, why don’t we find so ti to go and see it?"

He hadn’t had a real experience with such world-class auction houses yet. He knew that once the Jade City in Jinling opened, there’d likely be an auction house dedicated to auctioning jade, which would bring in a valuable commission.

It was truly a lucrative business.

"Qiu, I need to consult with the family first."

When Louise contacted her family, it didn’t take long for her to find out that the auction would start at 10:30 tomorrow morning at Christie’s.

"Let’s go tomorrow, then."

When the three of them arrived at the seaside, Ye Qiu realized that the Great Xia in the height of sumr was indeed quite different, with strong winds and waves!

Of course, the Atlantic Ocean was often affected by hurricanes, which occurred frequently in the United States and the Aricas, but were much less common in England and France, happening very rarely.

However, if a hurricane did strike, it could cause floods and house collapses.

Standing by the sea now, Ye Qiu, Liu Lingxiu, and Louise could all feel the winds and waves.

"Liu Lingxiu, just across from us is England."

England?

Liu Lingxiu hadn’t expected England to be just across from them.

"Ye Qiu, have you been there?"

"Not yet, but I’ll go soday."

The three continued to enjoy the sea breeze for a while before heading back to the Eastern Castle.

After Louise finished her breakfast and returned, Ye Qiu asked Housekeeper Eugene to prepare oil painting materials, including brushes, paints, and canvases.

Ye Qiu knew that oil canvases preserved paintings longer than paper.

"Young Master Ye, what size of canvas do you need?"

According to Ye Qiu’s requirents, Housekeeper Eugene needed to go to the city to purchase such canvases.

Ye Qiu planned to create three paintings: one with the Eastern Castle’s wine tasting event as the background, which would be frad and hung on the first floor of the Eastern Castle, and the other two were gifts for Louise and Liu Lingxiu.

"Qiu, can you really paint?"

Regarding fashion design, Louise knew Ye Qiu could do it, indicating he had a solid foundation in drawing, but oil painting was quite different from fashion sketching.

"Louise, you’ll see when I show my skills. Just compare it to the oil painting in the auction house."

Liu Lingxiu was equally astonished. She thought Ye Qiu might know Chinese landscape painting, but she hadn’t expected him to be skilled in oil painting as well.

How did Ye Qiu learn it?

During their three years of high school in the sa class, Liu Lingxiu felt that Ye Qiu had completely changed.

She had heard that Ye Qiu did well academically in middle school and was thus able to attend Jiangbei No. 3 Middle School.

However, from the first sester of high school, his grades gradually went to the bottom of the class, so when did he have the ti to learn oil painting?

Seeing Liu Lingxiu’s admiring gaze, Ye Qiu said, "I’ll give each of you one."

Around lunchti, Housekeeper Eugene prepared the canvases and brought them back.

However, Ye Qiu planned to start creating after lunch.

After a sumptuous Huaxia al prepared by a Chinese couple, Ye Qiu, Louise, and Liu Lingxiu sat down for lunch. Then Ye Qiu asked Housekeeper Eugene to bring a bottle of red wine.

"Ye Qiu, didn’t you say you wanted to paint? How will you paint if you get drunk?"

"Lingxiu, when have I ever gotten drunk?"

Truly, that was the case.

After the three finished lunch, Ye Qiu prepared to create in the main hall. Housekeeper Eugene ensured no one disturbed Young Master Ye’s creativity, allowing only Louise and Liu Lingxiu to watch.

But soon, to their astonishnt, Ye Qiu not only could paint, but he painted exceptionally well.

The first painting was nad "Sumr Autumn Vineyard," featuring a background of a vineyard.

This vibrant oil painting took almost two hours for Ye Qiu to complete. Upon finishing it and casually signing his na, Louise, Liu Lingxiu, and Housekeeper Eugene were rendered speechless by the Sumr Autumn Manor Painting.

Housekeeper Eugene, in particular, assud Ye Qiu only knew dical skills, as Western nobles often showcased their dical prowess.

Much like how many European politicians were often literary figures, Housekeeper Eugene was stunned by Ye Qiu’s painting, as were Liu Lingxiu and Louise.

However, she had a familiar feeling with the painting, as if she had seen it sowhere before.

Could it be that soone else had painted it before, or had she seen it sowhere?

And that was why it felt so familiar to her.

"Lingxiu, this one is for you."

"Ye Qiu, I love it so much," said Liu Lingxiu.

Once the canvas dried, the painting could be put away.

This piece wasn’t extrely large, roughly three ters long and two ters wide.

Ye Qiu then took the ti to create another painting for Louise, with the Eastern Castle as the background. This painting needed to have a grander backdrop, highlighting the Eastern Castle, the vineyard, and the distant seaside.

This painting took Ye Qiu nearly four hours to complete.

When the painting, nad "Eastern Castle," was unveiled, Louise was not only amazed but deeply moved. The beauty and impact of the painting struck her profoundly, allowing her to feel the magnificence of the Eastern Castle.

"Qiu, is this truly for ?"

"Of course, it’s a gift for you," Ye Qiu responded with a smile.

Ye Qiu ceased painting and washed his hands, rinsing off the paint. As Louise, Ye Qiu, Housekeeper Eugene, and even so curious servants ca to admire the painting, they were struck by Ye Qiu’s talent, believing his work surpassed the masterpieces housed in Parisian museums.
