Capítulo 1906: Chapter 1866: Returning to Earl Charlie’s Castle

As the helicopter slowly descended onto Count Charley’s lawn, Ivan the butler disembarked first, helping Count Charley out of the helicopter.
Ye Qiu also helped Liu Lingxiu out; Liu Lingxiu was still noticeably uncomfortable, while Louise seed fine, as she had ridden before.
Getting off the helicopter, she was still very spirited.
Ye Qiu took down the clothing bag brought along; Count Charley’s servants had already co over to carry it.
Count Charley arranged for Ye Qiu and Louise to stay at the place Ye Qiu first stayed when he ca.
Ye Qiu didn’t expect, albeit such a long ti had passed since he was last here, he would feel a bit unfamiliar.
Liu Lingxiu initially believed Ye Qiu’s Eastern Castle was already quite nice; unexpectedly, Count Charley’s Castle Group appeared even more grand.

Liu Lingxiu woke after sleeping for two hours; now, she was more energetic. When the three arrived at Count Charley’s dining room, Liu Lingxiu was once again surprised—this truly was French cuisine!
Considering they had already eaten at a high-end French restaurant in Paris with Ye Qiu and Louise, she feared this might be even more lavish than that French restaurant.
When the three sat down and Count Charley ca over for lunch, he looked at Ye Qiu and said, “Doctor Ye, in these days, just enjoy yourself here.”
“Count Charley, there really isn’t anything you called here for?”

No business, indeed just coming over for a visit.

After this sumptuous French lunch, Liu Lingxiu was sowhat unresponsive, feeling it was too wasteful.

“Louise, is your house normally like this?”
“Not really, my family doesn’t practice this habit. Count Charley is a descendant of the French Emperor; it’s a tradition he’s accustod to, and with such inco every year, sitting and enjoying without worry.”

This mont, Liu Lingxiu sowhat understood why Count Charley appeared different from others, enjoying the sa treatnt as the forr French Emperor.
While the three were outside observing, Liu Lingxiu noticed being in southern France had distinct scenery compared to northern France.
They wandered for the remainder of the afternoon, but as the sunlight grew intense, they returned to the castle to rest.
Ye Qiu slept alone in a room, whereas Liu Lingxiu, like the previous ti with Zhou Wenting, slept with Louise, since she surely wouldn’t get used to being alone.
During daylight, maybe it’s okay, but at night, hearing the calls of white-furred red-eyed bats, surely sleep wouldn’t co easily.
Ye Qiu returned to his room, examining the books on the bookshelf.
At around five in the afternoon, a servant ca to call Ye Qiu and the two others down for dinner.
Yet, Count Charley was nowhere to be seen.
“Doctor Ye, I know you might not acclimate to this French cuisine, so I’ve had two Huaxia chefs prepare Huaxia dishes.”
“Ivan the butler, this French cuisine is quite good; if it were regular Western food, we wouldn’t acclimate well; naturally, Huaxia food is better.”
With Huaxia chefs cooking, surely it’s different.
Sitting with Louise and Liu Lingxiu, the three noticed the local beef, lamb, fish, turkeys, and so vegetables cooked excellently by the Huaxia chefs.
Paired with iced red wine, the al was outstandingly satisfying.
After dining, stepping outside to unwind, the three exits from Count Charley’s castle, but Liu Lingxiu felt strange, much like Zhou Wenting did her first visit, as if observed from every angle in the castle.
Especially at night, in daylight it might not be apparent, unexpectedly once night descended, Liu Lingxiu began feeling that way.
Seeing Liu Lingxiu clutching her arm fearfully, Ye Qiu asked, “Lingshow, you’re just like Wenting on the first visit here.”
“I feel sowhat scared, like people are watching from everywhere.”
