The two of them looked as if they’d seen a ghost in broad daylight, having no idea when this young man had gotten into the back seat. The man in the passenger seat was quickly knocked out by Ye Qiu.

"If you don’t want to die, take to et your boss right now."

"Who... who are you?" The driver had no idea who the other party was.

"Who do you think? You stole my stuff. Of course, I want to see who has the nerve to steal from ."

The French driver seed to realize what was going on, thinking of ways to notify the boss or shake off this man.

He even considered whether he could kill the other party.

In France, theft cases range from minor to major, depending on the value of the stolen item. If this painting was indeed worth millions of euros, he’d likely spend his life in prison, which he definitely didn’t want, fearing being bullied by inmates.

The man kept thinking about how to drive away, while Housekeeper Eugene was also following them.

Seeing that the other party seemingly had no intention of taking him to their boss, Ye Qiu jumped into the passenger seat, quickly gaining control of the vehicle, stopping the car, and directly pulling the driver out.

The man pulled out his handgun, looking arrogantly at Ye Qiu and said, "I don’t care who you are, but following will be your death sentence."

Recently, various cases in France have been on the rise, largely linked to immigrants, and, of course, related to the police. Now the opponent dare to blatantly threaten Ye Qiu with a handgun in broad daylight, showing they’re ready to risk everything for money!

As the opponent disengaged the safety and aid at Ye Qiu’s head, Housekeeper Eugene watched nervously from the car.

However, to Housekeeper Eugene’s astonishnt, the gun had already fallen into Ye Qiu’s hands. Moreover, all the bullets had tumbled to the ground, and when Ye Qiu crumpled the gun into a piece of scrap tal and tossed it in front of the other, he said, "If you don’t want to end up like this gun, crushed into scrap tal, take us to your boss right now."

The man was truly frightened stiff.

As he got into the car, he was no longer as defiant as before.

Heading to a French village on the outskirts.

When they arrived there, as the man got out of the car, Ye Qiu followed suit.

Ye Qiu knew for sure, it was right here.

These people looked entirely different from ordinary French villagers, evidently a hotspot for petty theft, their gazes were shifty.

Ye Qiu dragged the other man out of the car and tossed him aside. Soon, a middle-aged man smoking a cigar erged and asked the driver, "Bain, who is this person?"

"B-boss, I don’t know who he is either?"

Bain indeed wasn’t quite sure who this young man was.

"You stole my painting and murdered my servant, and now you’re asking who I am?"

Stole my painting?

The middle-aged man seed to realize what was going on and quickly asked the driver, "Bain, where’s the oil painting?"

"It’s... it’s in the car."

The middle-aged man had already gathered a group around, all ard, making Housekeeper Eugene sowhat afraid. After all, it was just him and Ye Qiu now, and it was uncertain how things would turn out.

When the bag was opened and the fake painting inside was revealed, it was clearly not the oil painting, but a counterfeit?

"Bain, are you playing ?"

"B-boss, we found this one in the trash bin over there," Bain hurriedly explained.

Which ant the problem lay with the other young man who stole the painting.

However, now the middle-aged man directly lit the fake painting with a lighter and said to Ye Qiu and Housekeeper Eugene, "You’ve seen things you shouldn’t have. Seems like you two have no need to leave here. The vineyard outside just needs so animals as fertilizer, and you two bastards will do just fine."

The middle-aged man continued smoking his cigar, his expression vicious.

This was his turf, and he hadn’t expected the presence of two outsiders. If word got out and the police found out, it would be dire.

Housekeeper Eugene felt afraid upon hearing this, being just a housekeeper, truly unsure of what would happen next.

"I just want to ask if the ’Tasting Society’ oil painting is in your possession?"

The middle-aged man said nothing.

"Was it your people who killed my servant?"

The middle-aged boss still remained silent.

"Kill them as fertilizer."

The middle-aged man took another puff of his cigar, seemingly ignoring them as he turned to head for a small house within the vineyard.

"Master Ye, what do we do now?"

Housekeeper Eugene hadn’t expected his investigation would land them in a thieves’ den.

"What are you afraid of?"

While Ye Qiu wasn’t quite certain if these people were behind the grand theft, they were undoubtedly connected.

Moreover, they intended to silence them, clearly having committed nurous misdeeds!

"Why aren’t you acting?" said another man.

Soon so brought out handguns. Indeed, black market firearms were rampant here, easily acquired through the Mafia Organization.

When their guns were drawn towards Ye Qiu and Housekeeper Eugene, Housekeeper Eugene resigned himself to his fate.

Still, it seed he had implicated Master Ye.

However, as gunshots rang out, Housekeeper Eugene realized neither he nor Master Ye had been shot; instead, those holding the guns were hit.

How they got shot, Housekeeper Eugene had no idea.

By the ti everyone was clutching their legs and falling to the ground, Ye Qiu had handed two handguns to Housekeeper Eugene, who knew how to use a gun.

Holding a handgun brought a sense of security.

Following Ye Qiu into the small house, the middle-aged man was inside leisurely enjoying coffee, smoking a cigar, and having a young maid massage him. Hearing the gunshots outside, he thought the two had been shot as fertilizer.

"You really know how to enjoy yourself!" Ye Qiu remarked, looking at him.

"Y-you’re okay?" The middle-aged man asked in disbelief.

Ye Qiu couldn’t be bothered to say more.

He approached and slamd the gun onto the man’s head, making him dizzy and pained.

"Calling a bastard? No one has ever dared to insult like that!" Ye Qiu kicked him hard to the ground, then picked up his cigar and pressed it onto the man’s chest, burning a black mark on his suit. As it seared towards his chest’s flesh, the middle-aged man began to fear.
